thank you, my understanding is that this “unwritten part” was going to be a shift from a focus on Dasein, the being for whom Being is a question, to Being itself. I think some have claimed that parts of this may be in his essay “What is Metaphysics?” and may perhaps ultimately culminate in his latter lectures published as “Time and Being.” the reversal of terms gives a hint of the “turning” that occurred in his own thinking.
As for his Nazism, he surrendered to the They of his time and remained inauthentic, for the rest of his life, in commitment to the They_ which for him meant, Germany (guess he really loved the Black Forest). Who knows? But I agree, he is a super mind. My own opinion? Heidegger's is God's revenge on the hubris of Western, so called rational man. Some think God doesn't have jokes; yes She does.
Its a legit interpretation from within his own thinking. Levinas went a different direction and seemed to find Heidegger’s prioritization on the existentiality of Dasein to resonate with Heidegger’s politics at that time. “Who knows” is right.

Heidegger did in fact choice to join the natzis. As existential goes he has to take responsibility for that choice . He thought Germany had a special thing going for them and he wanted to be a part of it . He was well aware of the horror though by being a existentialist / phenomenology he never saw outside the box . He was consciously of what was going on. Guilty as charged . Hegel and Nietzsche work was used for horrendous events in history though did not make a personal conscious choice to do so .
Absolutely, and I think comments made in the black notebooks only solidifies that conclusion. The only question left is to what degree those facts have any relationship with the philosophy of B&T
