Mike, when you are done using a torque wrench, always back the adjustment back to o. This done so the spring that is holding the correct number called for is relaxed and will always be in spec.
Mikey!!! That was a good thing buying chow for the Boys……..a class act!
and dangerous. Moving company manager brought lunch for the crew, only to show up and witness them dropping my marble chess board and breaking it. So can't deny he did it. LOL
Good Job Mike Daniel and Peter. Make and keep the trades great. If young people only understood that in 10 years, they could be their own boss and make a fantastic life for themselves. Keep up the good work and charity work Mr. Diack.
Mike you need to switch to decaf...😊all kidding aside I respect your expertise and enthusiasm for your trade
Hi, here in the UK i have always used refrigerant oil to lube my flares and fittings never a problem, and rarely a leak, all the best 👌.
I always store my line set stretcher next to my board stretchers - otherwise, they're easily misplaced!
😂
@@PipeDoctor tell him it's stored upside down, so the steam cannot float away. 🤪
Love installing Daikin ductless. Great service tech support highly recommend!
You have 2 great kids working for you take care of them
In Dubai high temperature Daikin really shine love it
Lmao Peter was happy as heck with the gift
What a great Crew you have Mikey OHHHH Good looking job ... Thx ...
Don’t know nuthin’ bout nuthin’, but..I’m loving my spanking new Mitsubishi mini split..virtually silent…seems to be totally awesome..
@@PipeDoctor you too, and thanks for your charitable work..we need more ppl in the world like you!
🤣🤣🤣🤣mikey i commented that i thought you put a minisplit too high the other day and you just called my ass out in a video uploaded a month before i made that comment. thats hilarious
I believe Daikin purchased Goodman and in 2017 opened up in Texas
Back when Mikey was still using 36 x 36 pads. All the Bosch units look better with the 32 x 32 pads.
Don't worry about what others say.
Another great video mike! Sense my distribution center let me know Fujitsu is looking to get out of the HVAC market and they are no longer going to be ordering them as much. So for now my company switching to Bosch mini splits. So far they have been working out great and super quiet & Efficient, We have been looking into Gree and mitsubishi mini splits as a secondary option but the bosch one have been working out great.
Can you get a wiring schematic for them? I want to add a new kitchen, but running duct work would be a major problem. Think a mini split in kitchen would work, but I want it to be controlled by my home in conjunction with the rest of the system. So I would have to be able to control it by tapping into the board.
We like those Daikin units. Do a few Daikin FIT units and they are amazing and super quiet.
One more tip. Use the 32 x 32 heat pump pads for the bosch. Looks a lot better than the 36 x 36 ones.
Great install as always….Mike Romex (NM) in seal tight is an NEC violation not rated for wet location. Love the content👍
What article of the NEC? Everyone always says that but there is nothing in the code that says you can’t. Actually says you can.
I think you are confused with physical damage protection and “Wet Location”
See article sites below…👍
ARTICLE 334 Nonmetallic-Sheathed Cable: Types NM, NMC, and NMS
II. Installation
334.12 Uses Not Permitted.
(B) Types NM and NMS. Types NM and NMS cables shall not be used under the following conditions or in the following locations:
(4) In wet or damp locations.
@@RonSciara but it doesn’t say NM in seal tight or any conduit for that matter is a violation and once you put the NM in seal tight it is no longer ran in a wet location.
👊🏼Lmao once outside the disconnect the area is considered WET LOCATION… Mike ask some of your “Licensed” Electrical Contractor Friends… I’m sure they will agree…
@@RonSciara you are correct. NM isn’t allowed in wet location even in conduit.
my guess for the evacuation on the new Fujitsu is...34 microns.
why not.
I had a lame day, needed a mikey pipes video. and if I can partake in your guessing game, it makes the evening even gooder.
Nylog is the shit!!! Get with the program!!
Definitely the best drillbit ever
Now peter needs to get you some awesome shots with that for your vids..
i laugh a lot watching your guy working, and tell Peter don't forget Latina Chicas.
@@JG-nh8vrI had a BLAST everyday working in the field with my partners……..now I “Miss the Clowns, but not the Circus” if you know what I mean!
If I had $220 to spare I’d definitely buy that. I use the new fieldpiece one it does pretty good
I'm suprised you didnt suck the head unit through the vacuum with that deep of a vacuum lol🤣🤣
Next time in NY going to get that sandwich
Great work, looks clean and professional as always. What kind of line set cover do you prefer?
See this line set 🤔 were keeping it 😐 ur welcome☺️
love your videos 👍question if you don't mind, how close to a Gas meter line-set can be terminated? Thanks in advance
That drone gift was sweet… I thought it was a sick vr set up for latinas chicas😂😂
@@PipeDoctor lolll hahaha yeahhh and it’s kinda hard to work with chapped Dick lmaooo
Let's see a Bosch Mini-split
7:20 the guy who framed the closet opening is now flipping his wig, because that wall wasn't built to support any weight beyond the bifold doors. not floors above it nor junk hung on it.
hopefully they have more than just a few nails or screws holding the top plate to the joists, cripple studs and flat header together. lol(probably not)
the drywall is pretty tough, but will sag in time if it's not all fastened together well. most people tend to spray nails wildly when air/fuel nailing, but will use screws sparingly because it takes longer to drive them in.
but it should have been the known and planned location ahead of time and built to support weight. oh well 🥳
Rolling on the floor laughing😂😂😂😂 I was yelling no, no no you forgot the nut you forgot the nut no no 😊 an you turned it into a training session ❤. So? The million dollar question of the day is, was that a Woopsie??🤦♂️ or was that intentional?? 🤷🏻♂️
Well? The voting process is done an???? It’s unanimous that it was intentional!!!! Lol but I like the units up above grass discharge of the lawn mowers. An? Nice job on the strain release RX connectors! While technically that underground transmission line is not going to go anywhere without the RX connector here in Michigan?? it is a guaranteed fail with the inspectors but $200?? Mikey pipes?? Where is your head at?? 0.0 add a permanent marker signature on the back Mikey pipes an sell it for $350.00!! Goly Gee Whizz guess I’m gonna have to go to work for you in the ad revenue department🤣🤣🤣🤣
Nylog should only be applied to the back side of the flair so the nut spins against the nylog and the flair. We have installed every brand mini split and Mitsubishi is by far the best mini split money can buy and its not even close.
@Mikey Pipes - Pipe Doctor Plumbing & Heating & Air agree but im just saying if you use it this is the only place you should put it.
Hey Mikey
Put another core tool on your other core tool and you can isolate the micron gauge to prevent oil logging it when releasing the charge.
"yo dawg, we heard you like core tools, so we'll sell you a core tool for your core tool"
perhaps try an inline ball valve instead, like one made to add valve to a hose end. that should be far cheaper and add a valve to the vac. gauge. but that's just more fittings to leak and pockets around ball to hold atmosphere/moisture.
Mike, just another tip. Put some extra 50 lb anchors around the perimeter of the bracket. Not to keep it from falling but to keep the bracket from bending off the wall so you don't get unsightly gaps on the edge. I usually get at least 15 to 20 anchors/screws in each wall bracket. Why not? I want that bracket staying against the wall.
@@PipeDoctor Depends on the customer :).
Mike and crew
Have you ever installed a Bosch 5000 mini split system??
LOL you forgot the flare nut!
Lmaooooooo this what happens when the cat is away the mice will play 😂😂😂😂 I’m taken that
Installing the units above the basement windows eliminates them for use as legal egress, even if the windows were the correct size. There can be nothing overhead of an egress window, at least around here. As always, check your local code.
Do daikin! You’ll be very happy with their product! I deal with them on a daily basis
Appion makes a core removal tool and core depressor tool for 5/16 mini split ports, so you don't have to use that adapter
We have 3 of the BluVac micron gauges. Love them they are worth every penny.
Mikey we need you in Indiana I could sure use a new heat pump air conditioning and water heater after watching you I'd hire you guys in a minute.central air original from 1994
Only problem was we had to wait because one of my kids come down with a ultra rare cancer and lost him 2 yrs. Ago but about broke us but you do what you need to just like you guys your the best
You guys dont install Mitsubishi? I installed 4 separate systems at the house, 1 15k, 1 18k, 1 9k, 1 24k to 3.. the Hyper Heat is incredible. I like Fujitsu too but Mitsubishi is my pick hands down!!! I also installed surge protectors on all the systems also!!! Im DIY but Im an electrician by trade now in the utility industry.
Im afraid the 18k will freeze up quicklu due to lack of air flow
Where are those label stickers on the disconnect 1st floor and 2nd floor lol
You work for Air Force one?
A Pipe Doctor installation would not be complete without a bottle of pellegrino on standby.
My bro is the store manager for one of the biggest kia dealers in pa. He got into cars about 15 years ago and we laughed at him. He just graduated college and said he was going to sell cars. we said ok. Today he lives an hour away and is doing well. Cars are tricky. I know people who kill it in used and new or both. Yes i have a torque wrench. I have 5 of them.
@@PipeDoctor No prob, and loosen them past 0 when done IF manual. If not then no worries.
Hey Mike! Have you ever installed Mitsubishi minisplits? If so what are your thoughts?
Gay farts 💨 😂 classic Mikeypipessss!!
33micons!
Hey Mickey, of Mickey Pipes Plumbing not easy being cheesy. I like your podcast/social media, looking thru some comments/reply again. What' is up the cock and bull story again? Again money don't buy happiness, it only pays the bills. Love you buddy, you be safe out there.
@@PipeDoctor come now Mickey, are back again about AAA towing. I too gone to school of bull shit too.
You use a pen deburrer on flares?
Air force none... also known as pipe doctor none! 🤣🤣🤣
give the old tools to Peter
I need an suv that seats 6 best price
Is that Peter’s personal truck or a company truck? 🧐
@@PipeDoctor you should get it wrapped too 👍👍
And thank you for buying lunch so often for the team 👏👏
Why dual singles and not a single dual?
Better then mitiaubishi tech support takes foreve
@@PipeDoctor not sure but I did hear dakin say once you can’t use a switch at the head because it can cause issues with communication side of things
Daikens made in Thailand.
@@PipeDoctor I just bought a 45,000 btu split inverter unit for my house. The units say made in Thailand/Engineered in Japan. Maybe Texas is something new. Glad it ain't China.
@@PipeDoctor Better yet its not made in S Korea. My Korean Cadillacs made in S Korea. A hyundai. I've installed a bunch of Daikins at work all made in Thailand.
Why don't you sell mitsubishi? They make great equipment and their tech support is next to none
smells like "gay farts" HOLY F! that was epic!!!! so stealing that haha
😂
Daikin is not made in the USA
thailand my dude
Also wheres ur condensate drains off the condensers? Heat mode will just drip drip drip in front of that window (assuming they are heat pumps)
Maybe thats just what we get here in the butt of the world 🇦🇺
True, it never gets that cold were im from hahaha might get 2-3°C on the coast in winter.
Makes sense!
Lmao you forgot the nut
@@PipeDoctor mike watch that part again…when you unscrew the nut from the unit… it looks like a little ferrule or something fell out
If you make the right flare nylon is not necessary it’s like being with a woman if u need lubricant ur doing something wrong
