I took shahada because I fell in love and married a Somali Muslim woman. The family were so racist and would not accept me because I was of a different ethnicity and cultural background. My former mother in law refused to meet me. I was not allowed to attend their family gatherings purely based on my cultural background and ethnicity even considering they were accepted as refugees in my country. They treated me like a dog and I ended up driving away from my home with just the clothes on my back. I never went back. I am not saying Somali people are bad just this family

One of the conditions of a Muslim to step foot in Non-Muslim countries is that they must have sound Islamic Knowledge.
