Christians don't know their format of god is 3 distinct beings but there also 1 they believe god is absolutely unknowable but god makes himself known through his hypostases these are 3 divine persons in 1 being they are not 1/3rd of a being they are not modes or forms of god they are distinct literal beings but gods true is unknowable.

Also Paul did not come up with the trinity he used ideas there the early church came up with the trinity through scriptural debates.
Paul doesn't mention the trinity in the bible and he never knows that terminology and it isn't something new either

Plus muslims also have this how is the Qur'an uncreated 1 with the essence of god and how does that not make it similar to the trinity allha is unknowable but the angel Gabriel which is the holy spirit of islamic thought gave muhamamad the vision and Muhammad wrote the Qur'an the mimic the perfect image of the Qur'an at god's arsh or throne but if that image is the words of god and that is uncreated it is 1 with god.
If you say the Qur'an is a created book then you can defend the tawhid but you can't reject trinity on 1 end for them believing godd essence can manifest in 3 persons and then say allhas words and allha himself are 1
