I’m a new revert of around 8-9 months that grew up in a Christian family and about a week ago my mother took her Shahada and accepted Islam! ❤️ MashAllah! I left islam at 17, mainly because the Muslims I was around did not conduct themselves with Adab and Akhlaq so I just assumed Muslims were vulgar and horrible people. I understood some basics of the religion like someone who has been around Muslims but I never went into much depth. I was terrible at reading the Quran in Arabic so it made me feel stupid, and I was told I had to read it in Arabic or it wouldn't be accepted. So I never read a translation and what I saw of Muslims wasn't good. I then went to learn about many different religons from Judaism, Hinduism, Sikhism, Spiritualism, Buddhism, Shamanism, Zorastrian, Baha'i, and Atheism. I particularly looked into different sects of Christianity (where I definitely didn't get answers) but every church I went to there was always "An Ex-Muslim" that I "Simply had to talk to!" and when I did they would tell me things I knew were not true, "Islam is all about hatred and violence, and conquest. Jesus is all about love, Jesus is love." I clearly knew these people had either never been a Muslim or knew close to nothing about Islam. So I would be like, woah woah woah, like maybe I didn't like Muslims because of the conduct I saw but I knew that violence and hatred wasn't encouraged. It didn't sound like the little I knew about Islam. Subhanallah, I wish I had just read a translation of the Qur'an and done as much research into Islam. Alhamdulillah, Allah laid this journey down in my path and I came back to the fold of Islam. I am so ashamed to say I was the worst of the worst of Kafir. I became strongly Atheistic, resenting Islam even though I didn't understand it. I would use false logic to shake the faith of Muslims who were unknowledgeable and had weak Eman. Eventually pushing them away from Islam Astagfirallah. Strangely, after talking to a French Catholic girl that I was on a date with, she talked to me about faith, and I told her my opinions on it. But she calmly told me why it was beautiful. This annoyed me so I wanted to show her the holes in her religion, so I went and researched and a thought came to me that I should do this with Islam as well. Where modern Christianity had its flaws, islam did not, it actually had answers to my questions. And when I heard the recitation it stirred something in my heart. But I refused to let emotions get in the way, I went to Imams and Muslims with my bullet proof questions, and to my surprise, answer after answer, and logical steps to understanding. I decided to try praying just to see how it was. Then one morning, when I woke up, it was like something had completely changed and clicked in my mind, Islam was the truth, it felt right, and made sense. And just in my bed I took my shahada, I didn't tell anyone for months, but alhamdulillah I found my way back to the beauty of Islam. Islam is truly the only religion where if you need evidence it can be found and it isn't tied up in some level of mysticism or quasi-knowledge, substance abuse, myths, or having the uncertainty of "we don't know but eventually science can prove/disprove all things". Genuinely it is such a beautifully balanced religion with objective morals and something that is a guide for life. I'm trying now to guide people to Islam and your channel is one of the place I refer people to and the Sahih International translation of the Qur'an, and the book Muhammad: His Life Based on the Earliest Sources by Martin Lings which is a great introduction to the message of Islam. Additional book recommendation is The Sealed Nectar by Sheikh Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarkpuri Jazakallah Khair Edit: I just want to add, that I was a completely hopeless case. I was a Kafir. I turned people away from their deen. Astaghfirallah. Rabbana zalamna anfusana wa illam taghfir lana wa tarhamna lanakoonanna min al-khasireen. I am so ashamed I pray for forgiveness for us all and that all are guided to Islam. But in the end I came around. And if I can embrace Islam, don't lose hope in people. Especially people you know Brothers and Sisters, make dua for them in all your prayers. Dua that you and your brothers and sisters in Islam are strengthened in their Eman, represent islam with excellent Adab and Akhlaq. Pray that the non-muslims who are travelling through a dark ocean of ignorance find the lighthouse of Islam, in every prayer. Make sure you and your family understand the beauty of the message from the prophet Muhammed (SAW) and know it well enough to transmit the message to the non-muslims in a beautiful way. This is your duty as a Muslim. Encourage the first read of the Qur'an someone does to be in their mother tongue. Understanding is important. And conduct yourself as if you are always being watched, because you are, you are under the scrutiny of society constantly but more importantly, the mercy of Allah. So conduct yourself beautifully with Eman, Akhlaq, and Adab. It is really easy, just keep asking yourself, how would the prophet (SAW) and the Sahaba do this? Inshallah these dua will be answered. The most hopeless person can be forgiven by the mercy of Allah, so long as they die after saying "Ash-hadu an la ilaha illa Allah, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadur Rasul Allah." Inshallah ameen

It’s funny that he mentioned Hindus @30:00. Few years ago there was a Hindu temple in India with a big idol statue of over 33 million little Hindu gods. So the priest has poked a hole in the back of its head and inserted a big piece of sponge in it. Then he asked his followers to Pour milk in its mouth and if it drinks it then whatever you want from it you’ll get. I grew up in a First Baptist household(born again christian) I can relate about being scared as I was, but once you know the truth and let Allah guide you, your mind and heart begins to see the absolute truth. I reverted in 1984 alhumdulilleh and subhanAllah, nothing by the will of Allah, will persuade you otherwise.

Islam is truth because Islam teaches strict monotheism, instills the best way of life for an individual, offers the best reorganization of society and state, and provides answers to existential questions. Religion that calls you to submit to The Almighty, commands you to live a clean life, and tells you to enjoin good and eradicate evil - such religion cannot be false. This is why Islam is the truth.

I’m kind of in the same boat as her right now. I grew up Orthodox Christian, and now I have doubts. But you have to think about it from our perspective. You’ve grown up with something all your life. Muhammad did a good job explaining here, but 30 minutes is not enough to suddenly convert. I bought the Quran to read, and it will probably take me a lot of time to read it, write down questions I have, understand it fully, understand where the Quran is derived from, etc. You guys may know Islam is the truth, but the Christians say the same thing. So unless you find out for yourself (which I find difficult in it of itself), it’s hard to really accept this conversation by itself. I just hope God guides me and understands what I’m saying and if I’m gone before I find the truth God gives me mercy.
@@samt7676everytime I have a conversation with a non Muslim who is considering Islam but the situation ends in us agreeing to disagree, I always tell them to pray to the one true creator to guide them to whatever the truth is sincerely. All the honest people I’ve met have agreed to do that, so it’s great to hear you’re doing it too.

For example, in Christianity all you have to do is believe in God (or the trinity, honestly Christianity is confusing in it of itself). But I recall the story in the Bible about the two robbers who did many terrible things. One accepted God and was sent to heaven, while another didn’t and went to hell. In Islam, it seems like your actions do have consequences and that aspect I really like. I don’t like the idea of doing all the evil you want without repenting for it. But I have a question. Obviously no one is perfect. But sometimes it seems like it’s on the opposite of the extremes. For example, I saw a Muslim man tell women if you don’t cover up fully you will be sent to the hellfire. And I know not covering up is haram and hence the need for a hijab. But say a man/woman followed Islam but committed sinful acts from time to time (drinking, not dressing up modest,etc). Are they destined for hellfire in Islam? I thought God was supposed to be all merciful. I could understand God punishing you for your sins and telling you to repent in the afterlife and then afterwards allowing you to go to heaven as long as you committed good for most of your life and it overshadowed the sins that you have committed. That’s something that’s always confused me sorry for the long question

I really respect most of Christians here who have been following something throughout their lives and believe that to be true and would definitely defend that belief in an argument as well, But once they find out the truth they take this big step and go through a fight first of all with their own selves to accept the change.. "If you ˹O Prophet˺ are in doubt about ˹these stories˺ that We have revealed to you, then ask those who read the Scripture before you. The truth has certainly come to you from your Lord, so do not be one of those who doubt," It literally just says to go ask them about the stories from the people of the book that are Torah and Injeel (Gospel of jesus) which are revealed by the same God, not the new testament. We don't believe in the gospel of Luke, Mark, Matthew and John. It ain't from God.

So He wrote with His deeds, Almighty, what He knew His servants would do, so He wrote in the Preserved Tablet the wretched and happy of people, and the people of Paradise and the people of Hell. Because He, Glory be to Him, the Almighty, knows what each group of deeds will gain, yet He left them the ability and the will. They have a will by which they choose, and they have the ability to implement that choice. This is something that is necessarily known. We distinguish between our movements, which we do by choice, and our movements, which we do without choice. A sick person’s tremor is not by his choice, while a person walks to the mosque with his consent and choice. We necessarily differentiate between this person’s movements, which he chooses, and the movements that he does not choose. Therefore, he has a will. He chooses it, and he has the ability to implement that choice. But God Almighty, Glory be to Him, has the previous will, so a person cannot choose except that which agrees with the choice of God Almighty, as God Almighty said: {And you do not will except that God wills} but he chooses and acts by his own choice. This is one of the secrets of God Almighty in His creation. Destiny is one of the secrets of God Almighty in this universe. If a person does not realize these facts and is not able to imagine them, he should not research them deeply. He must surrender to what has come from God and from His Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, and learn. That humans are required to work, and that is why God sent the Messengers and sent down the Books, and man must take the reasons for guidance and righteousness just as he takes the reasons for livelihood, equally, and he must take the reasons for success in the afterlife, entering Paradise, and avoiding falling into Hell, just as he takes the reasons for being satisfied and satisfied equally, otherwise All things are destined and written. Just as he does not accept being told: (Do not eat), because if God Almighty decreed that you will be satisfied, then you will be satisfied without eating. Likewise, it is never correct for him to accept being told: (Do not do good), so if God Almighty decreed for you guidance and entry into Paradise, then you will do so. They are from the same chapter. I love our brother Muhammed and Islam. When I pray I feel great, when I follow how Allah wants me to live I feel great. When I listen to Muhammed speak about Islam I feel great. I left islam at 17, mainly because the Muslims I was around did not conduct themselves with Adab and Akhlaq so I just assumed Muslims were vulgar and horrible people.
I understood some basics of the religion like someone who has been around Muslims but I never went into much depth. I was terrible at reading the Quran in Arabic so it made me feel stupid, and I was told I had to read it in Arabic or it wouldn't be accepted. So I never read a translation and what I saw of Muslims wasn't good.
I then went to learn about many different religons from Judaism, Hinduism, Sikhism, Spiritualism, Buddhism, Shamanism, Zorastrian, Baha'i, and Atheism. I particularly looked into different sects of Christianity (where I definitely didn't get answers) but every church I went to there was always "An Ex-Muslim" that I "Simply had to talk to!" and when I did they would tell me things I knew were not true, "Islam is all about hatred and violence, and conquest. Jesus is all about love, Jesus is love."
I clearly knew these people had either never been a Muslim or knew close to nothing about Islam. So I would be like, woah woah woah, like maybe I didn't like Muslims because of the conduct I saw but I knew that violence and hatred wasn't encouraged. It didn't sound like the little I knew about Islam.
Subhanallah, I wish I had just read a translation of the Qur'an and done as much research into Islam.
Alhamdulillah, Allah laid this journey down in my path and I came back to the fold of Islam.
I am so ashamed to say I was the worst of the worst of Kafir. I became strongly Atheistic, resenting Islam even though I didn't understand it. I would use false logic to shake the faith of Muslims who were unknowledgeable and had weak Eman. Eventually pushing them away from Islam Astagfirallah.
Strangely, after talking to a French Catholic girl that I was on a date with, she talked to me about faith, and I told her my opinions on it. But she calmly told me why it was beautiful. This annoyed me so I wanted to show her the holes in her religion, so I went and researched and a thought came to me that I should do this with Islam as well.
Where modern Christianity had its flaws, islam did not, it actually had answers to my questions. And when I heard the recitation it stirred something in my heart. But I refused to let emotions get in the way, I went to Imams and Muslims with my bullet proof questions, and to my surprise, answer after answer, and logical steps to understanding.
I decided to try praying just to see how it was. Then one morning, when I woke up, it was like something had completely changed and clicked in my mind, Islam was the truth, it felt right, and made sense. And just in my bed I took my shahada, I didn't tell anyone for months, but alhamdulillah I found my way back to the beauty of Islam.
Islam is truly the only religion where if you need evidence it can be found and it isn't tied up in some level of mysticism or quasi-knowledge, substance abuse, myths, or having the uncertainty of "we don't know but eventually science can prove/disprove all things".
Genuinely it is such a beautifully balanced religion with objective morals and something that is a guide for life. I'm trying now to guide people to Islam and your channel is one of the place I refer people to and the Sahih International translation of the Qur'an, and the book Muhammad: His Life Based on the Earliest Sources by Martin Lings which is a great introduction to the message of Islam.
Additional book recommendation is The Sealed Nectar by Sheikh Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarkpuri

Edit: I just want to add, that I was a completely hopeless case. I was a Kafir. I turned people away from their deen. Astaghfirallah. Rabbana zalamna anfusana wa illam taghfir lana wa tarhamna lanakoonanna min al-khasireen.
I am so ashamed I pray for forgiveness for us all and that all are guided to Islam.
But in the end I came around. And if I can embrace Islam, don't lose hope in people. Especially people you know Brothers and Sisters, make dua for them in all your prayers. Dua that you and your brothers and sisters in Islam are strengthened in their Eman, represent islam with excellent Adab and Akhlaq.
Pray that the non-muslims who are travelling through a dark ocean of ignorance find the lighthouse of Islam, in every prayer.
Make sure you and your family understand the beauty of the message from the prophet Muhammed (SAW) and know it well enough to transmit the message to the non-muslims in a beautiful way. This is your duty as a Muslim. Encourage the first read of the Qur'an someone does to be in their mother tongue. Understanding is important. And conduct yourself as if you are always being watched, because you are, you are under the scrutiny of society constantly but more importantly, the mercy of Allah. So conduct yourself beautifully with Eman, Akhlaq, and Adab. It is really easy, just keep asking yourself, how would the prophet (SAW) and the Sahaba do this?
Inshallah these dua will be answered.
The most hopeless person can be forgiven by the mercy of Allah, so long as they die after saying "Ash-hadu an la ilaha illa Allah, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadur Rasul Allah." Inshallah ameen
Maashallah brother, don't loose hope. You're better then alot of pple who are called them selves a muslim but have no any understanding about islam. you got experience what is the feeling of being non muslim and now you understand islam much better. Make you dua inshallah brother.

One of the best and clearest examples given by Muslim Lantern in his conversations. Anyone open-hearted would accept this as the truth
I’m kind of in the same boat as her right now. I grew up Orthodox Christian, and now I have doubts. But you have to think about it from our perspective. You’ve grown up with something all your life. Muhammad did a good job explaining here, but 30 minutes is not enough to suddenly convert. I bought the Quran to read, and it will probably take me a lot of time to read it, write down questions I have, understand it fully, understand where the Quran is derived from, etc. You guys may know Islam is the truth, but the Christians say the same thing. So unless you find out for yourself (which I find difficult in it of itself), it’s hard to really accept this conversation by itself. I just hope God guides me and understands what I’m saying and if I’m gone before I find the truth God gives me mercy.

@@user-ib9of6dm5n Thanks a lot may God bless you. I have a question for you actually. What is the key in Islam to getting to Jannah? It’s something that’s always confused me. For example, in Christianity all you have to do is believe in God (or the trinity, honestly Christianity is confusing in it of itself). But I recall the story in the Bible about the two robbers who did many terrible things. One accepted God and was sent to heaven, while another didn’t and went to hell. In Islam, it seems like your actions do have consequences and that aspect I really like. I don’t like the idea of doing all the evil you want without repenting for it. But I have a question. Obviously no one is perfect. But sometimes it seems like it’s on the opposite of the extremes. For example, I saw a Muslim man tell women if you don’t cover up fully you will be sent to the hellfire. And I know not covering up is haram and hence the need for a hijab. But say a man/woman followed Islam but committed sinful acts from time to time (drinking, not dressing up modest,etc). Are they destined for hellfire in Islam? I thought God was supposed to be all merciful. I could understand God punishing you for your sins and telling you to repent in the afterlife and then afterwards allowing you to go to heaven as long as you committed good for most of your life and it overshadowed the sins that you have committed. That’s something that’s always confused me sorry for the long question

It literally just says to go ask them about the stories from the people of the book that are Torah and Injeel (Gospel of jesus) which are revealed by the same God, not the new testament. We don't believe in the gospel of Luke, Mark, Matthew and John. It ain't from God.

This suspicion is easy, and that is to know that God Almighty knows what was, what is, and what will be, and His knowledge, Almighty and Exalted, is not lost. So He wrote with His deeds, Almighty, what He knew His servants would do, so He wrote in the Preserved Tablet the wretched and happy of people, and the people of Paradise and the people of Hell. Because He, Glory be to Him, the Almighty, knows what each group of deeds will gain, yet He left them the ability and the will. They have a will by which they choose, and they have the ability to implement that choice.
This is something that is necessarily known. We distinguish between our movements, which we do by choice, and our movements, which we do without choice. A sick person’s tremor is not by his choice, while a person walks to the mosque with his consent and choice. We necessarily differentiate between this person’s movements, which he chooses, and the movements that he does not choose. Therefore, he has a will. He chooses it, and he has the ability to implement that choice.
But God Almighty, Glory be to Him, has the previous will, so a person cannot choose except that which agrees with the choice of God Almighty, as God Almighty said: {And you do not will except that God wills} but he chooses and acts by his own choice.
This is one of the secrets of God Almighty in His creation. Destiny is one of the secrets of God Almighty in this universe. If a person does not realize these facts and is not able to imagine them, he should not research them deeply. He must surrender to what has come from God and from His Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, and learn. That humans are required to work, and that is why God sent the Messengers and sent down the Books, and man must take the reasons for guidance and righteousness just as he takes the reasons for livelihood, equally, and he must take the reasons for success in the afterlife, entering Paradise, and avoiding falling into Hell, just as he takes the reasons for being satisfied and satisfied equally, otherwise All things are destined and written.
Just as he does not accept being told: (Do not eat), because if God Almighty decreed that you will be satisfied, then you will be satisfied without eating. Likewise, it is never correct for him to accept being told: (Do not do good), so if God Almighty decreed for you guidance and entry into Paradise, then you will do so. They are from the same chapter. Just as it is known that it is necessary to take into account the means of immediate worldly sustenance, so we say: It is necessary to take into account the means of future sustenance in the hereafter.
However, he must delegate his affairs to God, rely on Him, rely on Him, seek His help, and hope for His goodness and righteousness. If he does that, God, Blessed and Most High, will not let him down.
We ask God Almighty, through His names and attributes, to guide us and you to the right path and His straight path.

I love our brother Muhammed and Islam. When I pray I feel great, when I follow how Allah wants me to live I feel great. When I listen to Muhammed speak about Islam I feel great. Islam is so simple and so beautiful. Islam is not the religion of confusion, on the contrary everything just logically makes sense.
