outstanding video! there's far too many NSW videos online, and not nearly enough on Pararescue and AFSOC. great to see a fitting tribute to these supermen and true silent warriors. hooah!
Pain, Self Sacrifice, and Humility Hidden Pride... Which of these then, not reflect, the past proven actions of The Very Author of Sacrifice Himself... "That Others May Live"? -Former Sgt. William'Rock'Gilpin 82nd Abn. Inf. Div. 11B4P (71-74)
The Air Force Special Operations training is devoted to 100% quality. They won't let you pass if you fail an evolution more than once. In BUD/S for the SEALs, if you fail enough, you will be dropped or rolled back, depending on your overall performance. The Air Force does not allow you to try again. Thats called quality training. And they are the only ones, as far as I know, that pay such high attention to quality.
@hailit99 The CCT pipeline is extremly hard and unless youve been through it you wouldnt know. Just because the indocs are different doesnt mean its easy. Each spec ops job has its strengths. The PJ starts hard and get a little easier, CCT starts easy and ends hard!! Cant say so much for TACP though. This is coming from someone whos been through some of CCT but broke my leg the end of ATC!
@bryant526 No, they were not slacking. Some classes will always be stronger as a team thus less dropouts and they're better prepared both physically and mentally for the challenges. Just like BUD/S class. Sometimes they get no quitters during Hell Week.
@pucksupport28 Im not in the airforce im a firefighter so i find all this shit cool. As from what i've been reading to get in, it probably depends on what kind of injury it is and it depends on MEPS and your recruiter.
@Thunderbolt22A10 No I dont want to be a combat controller. No offense to them but it's not what I wanted. Its not the same, but i still dont want to give up an education to be a pj. Im sorry but im set on being a seal
@hailit99 there is no reason for TACP standards to be as hard as PJ and CCT. Only SF qualified TACPs do anything with SOF anyway. The rest work with regular Army.
Combat Rescue Officers and Combat Controllers aren't the same thing. A CRO is basically the officer version of the PJ. They have less medical training, but are go through the same indoctrination.
@SuperButt3rz I'm not a PJ, but I;m a FF and I do a lot of technical rescue. The answer is yes. After all this is done you spend time studying. It would be dumb to throw someone out for something you didn't show him.
They don't use the shop and auto stuff to decide your AFQT score. Work on your math, word knowledge, literacy, and arithmetic. I use a book called Master the ASVAB, a lot of people have had great success with this book.
@Thunderbolt22A10 No i understand that officers follow the same training and go through the pipeline all the same. I have just heard from lots of individuals they do not get the same field time as enlisted PJ's. It is ok though, I am pretty excited to go navy now
PJ and seals have completely different core skills as well as different missions. You will want to figure out if you want to be dedicated CSAR or go the seal route.
@casf120 you're not going to be a CCT you're going to be a PJ I know that CCT and PJs are different, now officers are allowed to be PJs they are just called something different, combat rescue officers, you would be a PJ that's the bottom line, look at the patch in the video where they show a picture of the cat wearing a maroon beret dangling trainees? it says PJ/CRO training school which means they train both enlistede men and officers
look at the military as one thing accompished in your life. don't use it as a way to get a job in the civilian world. But to answer, look up "flight nurse" on google. I'm sure you'll find what you need to know.
there are a lot of worse things other than consuming naturally occurring acids. 1/2 cup of salt water will mess you up WAY worse than 1/2 of lemon juice, lime juice, or even vinegar.
I never used the words smarter. I just know that enlisted go PJ while officers go CRO. And I know the PJ community is a whole lot smaller than the SEALs so the officers don't get much field time. Its ok though, I'm already pretty into college now and I'm pretty set on the Navy but thank you for your comment I appreciate it.

Of all the spec ops vids i have to say PJs pretty consistently have the best taste in music.
My boys Ramirez at 1:07 and Des Jardins at 2:06! I'm proud of you guys for making it all the way through indoc, and farther!
Your fortitude, strength and commitment are impressive. Hooyah, Ballz2.

Heading to A&S in the end of the year, so stoked to see these dudes grind . HOohyah! Balls 2
Did you make it?
@@sergioflex5145 the trainings two years there’s no way he’s close to done
@@jonathonmoores9137 I think he was just asking if he got selected not if he had a beret yet
Did you make it ?
Did you get through A&S?
Having had the privilege of being on an exercise with PJs, I gotta say "awesome" just begins to cover it.
Song title
Filter - Hey Man, Nice Shot
Rise Against - "Re-Education (Through Labor)" (High Quality)
Yes you are correct. I have done my research on both and believe I am making the right decision for me.
6:55 nice transition
aight man no worries. what ever way you head for, seals or not, wish you the best of luck
Right on man, keep studying and keep training for it, if you want it you will make it happen.
Where are all the “chair force” comments?
I was nationally ranked swimmer this is no joke. I passed the seal test this is another level
What is the jody they are singing at 5:38 when they are running?
Great stuff dudes! Good Job!
CCT. I'm gonna have flashbacks for days dammit...
I hope that short guy made it 2:28
That's why they call it Drown Proofing
@casf120 you could be a CRO (Combat rescue officer) an officer within the PJs, you don't have to quit
Pain, Self Sacrifice, and Humility Hidden Pride... Which of these then, not reflect, the past proven actions of The Very Author of Sacrifice Himself... "That Others May Live"?

Damn that looks fun. Screw you asthma
Minshew was in my class. I was medically dropped... it was his second time through... class 03-002
I was bioweapon spc at Ft. Detrick md but this is insane.
Just look what they make you give...
@hailit99

first song is hey man, nice shot by filter.
HOOYAH keep it goin, whats that first song it rocks?
I went to Airborne in Ft. Benning with 3 guys from this class.
@bryant526 No, they were not slacking. Some classes will always be stronger as a team thus less dropouts and they're better prepared both physically and mentally for the challenges. Just like BUD/S class. Sometimes they get no quitters during Hell Week.
I didnt know air force had this much of bas ass training
Even though it's the SEALs get most of the glorification amongst civilians, these guys are equally elite
They can even be considered more elite with the amount of training and the drop out rate
l'll be there soon enough.
@pucksupport28 Im not in the airforce im a firefighter so i find all this shit cool. As from what i've been reading to get in, it probably depends on what kind of injury it is and it depends on MEPS and your recruiter.
@SuperButt3rz Everything is taught to you before you are tested so yeah, you would be shown how to properly tie the knots.
@Thunderbolt22A10 No I dont want to be a combat controller. No offense to them but it's not what I wanted. Its not the same, but i still dont want to give up an education to be a pj. Im sorry but im set on being a seal

So awesome
@FastGuppy If you've had a minor lower back injury, will they let you give it a go at indoc?
Hooyah Ballz 2!
do they drown u in pararescue training?
No, that would be counter-productive.
They don't, but shallow water blackouts occur often. As well as plain old fatigue causes some.
instructors were slackin...
Good shit guys!
Combat Rescue Officers and Combat Controllers aren't the same thing. A CRO is basically the officer version of the PJ. They have less medical training, but are go through the same indoctrination.
Damn that was Grody
Shipping July 19th. GAME TIME BABY!
instructors not slacking, the class started with 170 instead of the usual 120. i was medically eliminated from 11-003
@SuperButt3rz I'm not a PJ, but I;m a FF and I do a lot of technical rescue. The answer is yes. After all this is done you spend time studying. It would be dumb to throw someone out for something you didn't show him.
i didnt even know it was possible to score lower than a 50
So do you need to know all those swimming techniques and how to mess with the gear and such before you go in?
Speichers no you will learn it here but if you can familiarize yourself with the gear before you come here you’ll be ahead of the game
They don't use the shop and auto stuff to decide your AFQT score. Work on your math, word knowledge, literacy, and arithmetic. I use a book called Master the ASVAB, a lot of people have had great success with this book.
Can anyone tell me what is the name of the first song played here?
studying it right now. I just can't understand math. its the death of me
@PumaRacing88
See ya there !
@Thunderbolt22A10 No i understand that officers follow the same training and go through the pipeline all the same. I have just heard from lots of individuals they do not get the same field time as enlisted PJ's. It is ok though, I am pretty excited to go navy now
no you are right I messed up, I meant to say combat rescue officer.

I could ever do this I can't swim at all!!!!

Oh, so you've been? If not, then you know less than me.

It takes two years for the training
I feel great not drinking or eating oranges / coffee. Almost been 3wks. Acid destroys everything - belly is only for acid then.
there are a lot of worse things other than consuming naturally occurring acids. 1/2 cup of salt water will mess you up WAY worse than 1/2 of lemon juice, lime juice, or even vinegar.
idk, but i cant get it for crap hahahahaha. taken it twice too. i just cant do math and don't know the stupid auto and shop stuff...
@Thunderbolt22A10 *enlisted
to be a pj you only need a g44 or higher..
32 out of how many?
Ivan probably a few hundred
So after a Pj gets out of the airforce could they be hired on as a flight nurse
I never used the words smarter. I just know that enlisted go PJ while officers go CRO. And I know the PJ community is a whole lot smaller than the SEALs so the officers don't get much field time. Damn... 32 graduated. I wonder how many got the job :-/

3:52 tramp stamp
No, not unless they have a nursing degree.
That should be the easiest thing lol
it wasn't it was easier most of the guys were setbacks
Bet you don't.
does not matter she is a women anyways..
@hailit99
