Ford 5R55E Transmission: No Reverse.

Thank-you for posting. My 2003 Ranger goes forward fine, but no reverse. This video will be a big help in diagnosing the issue. Too cold out now, will pull the pan off in spring and check it out. Thanks again.

I just lost reverse so I will pull the pan and reverse servo and check that band. 👍

how did the valve body gasket look?

I've got a 06 explorer with the 5R55S in it. My reverse slips when I give to much gas but no other symtoms. engine breaking is good, all forward gears are good. Still bands or something else maybe?

I don't have any ideas. I'm not a transmission expert. I just shared what I found wrong with this one I had.
