The point is, it should always be a woman’s choice , whether she stays at home to raise her kids or continues to work.
@@JustinL186 Justin buddy, that is literally the point of this video. if you do not understand at this point that a whole political party would like to control every facet & level of both genders’ lives; you need to take a long walk off of a short pier. there isn’t much left to show you let alone educate you that could possibly convince your concrete riddled cranial cavity.
@@JustinL186 taking away the right to abortion entirely, with no exceptions, is directly taking away a woman's choice. Charlie Kirk is saying exactly that.
the "protector" thing in 21st century america is so tired bc what are the ways in which a man can protect his family that can't also be acheived by a woman who's allowed to carry a gun?
Factually? Not much. But that doesn't change the fact that we're still wired to approach relationships through that lens. When women actually did need men for security, which was for all of human history until the last few hundred years, that feeling was justified. And humans don't evolve out of their mental habits so quickly. It's not a rational thing anymore. It's just something primal within us. Many women want their man to make them feel safe, even if there's no concrete reality to it. Because despite the changes in the world we live in, that's still what feels right to us.
@@Drekromancer your point about women wanting to feel safe in a relationship makes no sense. wanting to feel safe in a relationship is not gender specific at all, especially since there are so many men trying to make women subservient and control every aspect of their lives, obviously some sort of soothing tactic
@@DrekromancerYou're explaining a slightly different idea of "protector" than I think someone like Charlie Kirk is trying to promote. Kirk believes that women do not have a desire to actively defend their children against attackers, but rather cower away, and that this is a desire only men actually act upon regarding the dynamics of a family. If we're looking at it in the same biological lense that Kirk wants to see it, then women do in fact have an active desire to fend off attackers targeting their children, regardless of if they have a man around or not. Both women and men are biologically wired to be "protectors," because that is obviously what would have increased the survival rate of families the most. Demagogues like Kirk are trying to say that this is only a desire men have and that they can fulfill, which doesn't make sense biologically or socially.

There's a simple answer to this: Americans are cowards. You would rather all sacrifice every child you will ever have before it's born than question a single authority figure. How many examples do you want? My favorite is Maddie de Garay. It's 100% clear what happened to her & also 100% clear that turning the word 'lobby' into a verb is the Only Reason she can't get any help. *_Clearly_* it is illegal for any company to get protections from the harms caused by their products. So, problem solved, right? All the groups claiming to be helping here *are* using the laws that already exist, that are already in writing to ensure she gets treatment as well as compensation? No. Every member of each of these groups is begging their imaginary surrogate-Daddies to please help them. They *could* hold them legally accountable & _get_ that help. But that would require the one thing Americans have less of than intelligence. You all would *_rather_** starve* than question a single politician.

Most developed countries have cheaper, or completely free, higher education because of this, but America is an exception. if they can’t make it free, they should at least be able to make sure their students don’t starve in pursuit of the most vital careers a society needs to survive
@ @Maximilian1990 if a working class person could save up 100k for college (avrg american degree cost) and continue to pay rent and utilities at the same time, they would cease to be working class. under your logic, not a single working class person would be able to set foot in a university. it’s not ‘scamming’ the government to request help from the welfare state, it’s what the welfare state exists for, it’s one of the worst in the world, but it exists for this exact purpose. by making higher education so difficult for working class people to get into, many stay in lower paying jobs that don’t require a degree, keeping the poor poor and the rich rich. a lot of countries have made their universities much easier to access for people from lower economic backgrounds because they recognise this situation as the bullshit it is. The loan situation is predatory enough already, further depriving students of welfare would be even worse, and I think it would constitute as a human rights violation (Article 13.2.C of the ICESC). hey if i want to have 100 kids in my foster closet, feeding them only cereal, to siphon government funding that is between me and my god, and im never letting my little meal tickets leaving until they're 11 and can start providing for themselves. "this is satire"
@swaampyjocksthat’s all fine and good but I think telling young women to give up on their careers and start pumping out kids or to birth children they know they can’t take care of that’ll end up in adoption centers before making sure adoption centers are capable of producing working/capable members of society is really putting the horse before the wagon. The people pushing pro life should be the ones making sure its a viable option and holding adoption/childcare centers to the highest standards of care. It seems the same people that are pro life are against helping that life once it’s actually been born and that’s just baffling to me. I can understand bein skeptical of criticism against adoption centers but if you know so little about them how can you step up to bat and defend them?
@swaampyjocks but let's not pretend that stopping abortion is going to be better for foster kids either, the whole argument isn't about the foster care system, it's about the morals of people against abortion, they don't like killing little humans even though the last thing on their mind is helping someone else's children when they are born. To me, it's a critique of modern conservative thought. You want to absolve the society of the "crime of abortion" yet you're also hyper individualist. My money, my home, my everything. And everyone needs to just be like me to be able to get good outcomes! this completely ignores that people are born into a variety of different circumstances and that some people having children actively would make their life way worse not to even speak of the quality of life that child can be given. Let's make the foster care system better you say, WHO DISAGREES? Yet I don't see any mention of policy that corrupted and who enacted these policies into the foster care system. Are republicans even interested in improving it? It seems to most people that a conservative would take the hyper individualist "lift yourself up by your bootstraps" attitude and cut spending in these areas. And this is all completely ignoring the impact pregnancy has on women. I too think the foster care argument is flimsy and dodging the question a little, I think abortion IS murder and I also think that for many people today abortion relieves suffering in society. Just like we kill animals everyday for food. Not everyone should have kids and we can't stop people from having sex, so abortion seems like good policy to me. The actual argument should be whether we can force women to come to term and if we should or not. I believe a baby is kind of like a symbiote and forcing someone to keep it knowing the health risks is too steep a punishment for sex.
@@empyreum6869i feel like this is genuinely one of the most well rounded takes ive ever seen on abortion; especially that being forced to carry a child to term is “too steep a punishment” for simply having sex. really articulate response, one that ill be referencing in the future because I’ve never heard it worded that way before, and I completely agree with you.

Crazy how these people who are successful, economically stable and comfortable in life feel like they have the right to make decisions for those who are actually living these issues, for the people that are struggling everyday. You can tell they haven’t had to struggle with half of the issues they have so much to say about. And if they have, they were manipulated to think it was their fault and not the system in place.

25:09 Putting fathers back in the home. I agree with this notion. They should be able to have the free time available to be able to forge a relationship with their kids. One small problem: in today's economy, most people would need to work 30 hours a day at multiple jobs just to keep the lights on and provide food for their families. Solution: paying the workers a living wage. This would cause less stress causing to fewer episodes of lashing out AND it'd mean shorter working hours and thus more energy/time to afford to the kids plus not needing to worry about "will i put us on the streets if my finger gets bent the wrong way."
40+* hours a week. The other problem is the knowledge that a parent holds and what they give to their offspring. The lashing out can be from incorrect parenting, and it’s evident with how we’ve treated shell shock in the 50’s and how we treat anyone who isn’t neurotypical today. I still think mental education is paramount regardless of what people say. Understand yourself, means you can understand the world better.
Fathers back in the home has nothing to do with fathers spending too much time at work. It has to do with impregnating women and leaving mothers to raise their kid on her own.
It actually does make sense. Many kids who are in the foster system become homeless. Homelessness becomes criminalized. Once in prisons, they can be leased to companies as cheap labor. They want their slaves back.
It makes perfect sense if you're a capitalist shill and the economy depends on vast amounts of cheap, expendable labor. The best case scenario for them is lots of people having kids young, having lots of them and foregoing education.
Because birth rates are going down as the wealthy continues to trash the economy, no one can afford kids, and that’s a problem because the meat grinder of capitalism requires future poor, uneducated children to grow up and be exploited It’s all connected. It’s not just sexism, it’s about control on a large scale
How about you tell that young person to close her legs, or the man to use a condom, or tell the girl that when they're drunk and want a cream pie, that's not a good idea. How about they get taught safe sex? And abortion is murder, according to scientists.
@22:05 it's well known amongst sociologists that both crime and poverty dropped after Roe V. Wade passed because people didn't further the hole they're in through unwanted pregnancies.

I want to get married and have kids - except I am terrified of ending up with a man like this, so what do I have to do? Set myself up with a good job, a good net, so I can take care of me and possibly a kid if I have to.
My plan is to just adopt a kid once I feel financially and emotionally stable enough to raise a child on my own. I don’t understand why women feel they have to risk falling into an unfulfilling marriage with a man and shoulder the emotional labor of trying to educate someone who is directly benefitting from the systems which oppress women. To me, it also doesn’t make sense to bring another child into this world when there are so many abandoned and waiting to be taken care of. Also, as someone who fears the health risks that can arise during pregnancy, I personally feel more comfortable with the idea of adopting or fostering. Imagine you do get married and have kids with a man who ends up treating you like a breeding vessel, seeking only sympathy and gratitude for providing you and your children with the bare minimum. Prevents you from doing any sort of meaningful or fulfilling work because “being a mother should be fulfilling enough.” You know, what then? Work for yourself, don’t seek to align yourself so strongly with the idea of marrying a man eventually. At least, that’s how I feel.
"Women are happier at home not working with family!!!!" is such a strange take because...isn't EVERYONE happier when they aren't working and at home with family? People hate working and would rather spend time with loved ones instead of being a wage slave?!?! Omg what a unique take.
I agree, and ideally I'd want a return to the 1950-70's economy where a single full time wage can support the entire family; except with both parents working part time. It was never good for mothers to be bottled up at home feeling like they don't have a life outside 4 walls and 3 kids, and it was never good for fathers to only know their kids as those noisy things that sleep in the same house.
I walked into two female coworkers and two male coworkers arguing about staying at home and the men asked me, another man, if I would rather stay at home while my wife worked and I said, in a literaly heartbeat, "I would love to stay at home," and the women laughed and the men's jaws dropped. One man asked me, "What will your homies think?" I responded, "I don't care what they think. I'm not married to my homies, I'm married to my wife."
Plenty of men HAAAAAAATE their family especially their wives "the ol ball and chain" bullshit is pervasive throughout western society (maybe others im just not familiar). might as well give children guns if women are able to carry.
Factually?
@@HHTwice About as many men doing the same thing.

The whole adoption waiting list thing pissed me off because there's so many kids in foster care who the system is failing, not because there's a shortage of children tf
hey if i want to have 100 kids in my foster closet, feeding them only cereal, to siphon government funding that is between me and my god, and im never letting my little meal tickets leaving until they're 11 and can start providing for themselves.

Understand yourself, means you can understand the world better.
let’s be honest the problem w fathers isn’t them working too much the problem is them constantly noping out on parenthood and abandoning their kids
Fathers back in the home has nothing to do with fathers spending too much time at work. It has to do with impregnating women and leaving mothers to raise their kid on her own.
You're an incredibly unserious person.
@@doodleh8erwell.. if women are allowed to nope out of parenthood, then it should be okay for men to do the same thing. Gotta be fair to both.
How tf can you tell a young person who isnt financially stable yet to pump babies out they cant afford IT MAKES NO SENSE
Because birth rates are going down as the wealthy continues to trash the economy, no one can afford kids, and that’s a problem because the meat grinder of capitalism requires future poor, uneducated children to grow up and be exploited
It’s all connected. It’s not just sexism, it’s about control on a large scale
How about you tell that young person to close her legs, or the man to use a condom, or tell the girl that when they're drunk and want a cream pie, that's not a good idea. How about they get taught safe sex? And abortion is murder, according to scientists.

Oh yeah when they dropped all those plan parenthoods in black communities, nice catch there nazi
I really appreciate that you make this kind of content instead of right wing grift shit. It would have been super easy to tap your edgy humor audience from back in the day for cash with right wing grift content. Congratulations, you make life so shit you discourage people from having children.
@@networknomad5600 it has everything to do with the workforce. humanity existed for 300,000 years with less than a billion people. humanity does not require constant growth to survive, capitalism does. the purpose of these natalist policies is too boost the native population and drive economic growth, otherwise they'd have to rely on immigration, and we all know how the right feels about that.
@@iMoD190 existed for 300,000 years, sure, was it as good as it is right now? the biggest problem right now not that humanity needs constant growth, it's just humanity needs constant age, and right now it ages scarily fast. The fact that he had dated a woman in her thirties who had a career. While telling people for years how stupid that is. Is mindblowing.
For you and anyone else who is surprised and confused about why are all of these articulate, educated people with university degrees are confidently telling debunkable lies into microphones on camera to impressionable college kids fresh out of high school like this, do a quick google search and check if they are on a billionaire's payroll, like Ben Shapiro or Jordan Peterson. Both of them are funded by the fracking billionaire Wilks brothers, who also fund PragerU. Think of it like checking your hotel mattress for bed bugs before you lay in it, except that billionaires are the worst parasites on Earth and yes, I am including botflies, brain-eating amoebas, and tongue-eating lice, the latter two of which are probably a more fitting metaphor when you consider what their propaganda does to the people who fall for their shit.
Are you starting to get a better idea now as to why the fuck did Elon buy twitter and gave it a name so terrible you can't even turn it into a verb without people thinking you're talking about somebody's ex partner or self censoring? Why Rupert Murdoch's Fox News has been kissing up to another billionaire, now president, all these years? You remember Ajit Pai, the chairman who tried to kill net neutrality, THE ONE WHO TRUMP FUCKING DESIGNATED?
But thank the lord we all voted for that fat fugly fucking rapist because a woman was almost president and that would have been scary because women are the most likely of all the genders to rape and murder and do not google that, just believe me, a manic afab person typing too many words in the reply section of an iDubbbz video.

@@libertusprimusoooooooooooooh burn
Oh yes Ben Shapiro is sacrificing so much by spazzing at a camera from his on top of his ivory tower.
Plenty of men HAAAAAAATE their family especially their wives "the ol ball and chain" bullshit is pervasive throughout western society (maybe others im just not familiar). Its insane how much especially right wing but mainly just patriarchal discourse leads me asking "you just hate women/the woman in your life, right?"

Topics like these give me a visceral rage. Especially with abortions because they don’t affect other people, only those that decide to get or not get abortions. Why does a third party that isn’t affected need to spew nonsense and preside their opinions over everyone else. People have the right to make decisions, there is literally zero harm to other people especially with this case!
