In all fairness that’s kind of what the Apple Watch it already. If they added a headphone jack to an Apple Watch it would practically be what you just described lol
My parents bought me one of these about 9 years ago, I finally went & dug it out a few months ago. It brought lots of memories flooding back, many great but one I had forgotten about. My unit came brand new with incredibly poor building quality. The screen wasn’t level, the digitizer was off kilter. The antenna in the base wasn’t properly aligned, the home button is slightly misaligned. there’s a bit of adhesive around the front that clearly leaked out & never got cleaned up before shipping. My parents took me the store to buy it & it was brand new straight from Apple, but if I hadn’t been there myself you would’ve thought it was a refurbished unit.
@@therandomytchannel4318hii, may i ask, i’ve got the exact same one as you, does yours have battery problems too? mine only switches on if it’s plugged to a power outlet :(
I need that. If phones are the size of the iphone 5 I wouldn't need that but sadly all of it is either 5.9 inches for the smallest one and 7 inches for the biggest which is not great when working out
yeah definitely was something very useful back in the day it seems. i obviously was very young when these came out, i had a ipod 5 when i was 10 though
I need this in 2024. Sure I can play music on my phone while I commute or go to work but there's nothing like a dedicated, small form-factor device that's dedicated to one sole function. And the nano 7 had a really smooth operation too. I know there's snow ball's chance in hell Apple will it out again though... because everything needs to be online (so they can sell you more shit) and downloading & storing music into a device is for old folks. I can dream though!
Glad to know I'm not alone in dreaming this would come back... I'm hoping with kids bringing everything from the aughts back, this would also get swept back too. dwe can dream...
If apple brought this form factor to 2023 with BT5.0 & smart watch features I would buy one so fast, I miss my ipod 😅.
That would be really interesting! But sadly they will probably not do it. Thanks for the comment!

i still use one and love it
Nice! Thanks for the comment!
Yes same here, I have the blue version, it's pretty basic by today's standards but great for wearing when you go for your daily run! 😊

So true about modern software. They could take a note about efficiency from these older, more resource restricted products.

Thanks for sharing!
I’ve had it for 5 years. Still works great 👍
Good to hear
I just want it, bc it’s just iPod, iPod is just iPod, that’s the one I want, I could probably two iPods, iPod nano last gen, and iPod touch 6th gen
You can probably still find them used for a good price because they are old
i buy one last weeks, i love it! i
Great to hear!

dwe can dream...
can we buy this now? in India?
Only used. They stopped selling them
I want this i pod .... please tell me something
I found one that’s mint for $30 NZD
i had this a few years back
Nice!
i saw people that connected their airpods with the nano and worked okish
I think it works but pretty quiet
Can i listen to music that came out these days or in past few years or just old music?
What do you think ??
someone should mod the 7th gen nano so you can play angry birds on it
That would be interesting but probably impossible
I want one so bad
Ipod touch without the touch
Thanks for the comment! It does have a touch screen but it's missing the app store and ios
I like to think of it as, iPod nano with Bluetooth.. it's the thinnest iPod also... It's a beautiful piece of tech
🎉
How did it work?
I see yours is getting the black spot (expanding battery)
Edit: oh never mind it’s just a screen issue
Yes I dropped mine which caused the display to be a bit weird. Sadly I do have a 2nd gen nano that does have the battery issue
I used to watch movies on it 😂
I just want the iPod 6th gen with Bluetooth and WiFi streaming but that will never happen
