Even if I’d got that kind of money to buy a Richard Mille. I wouldn’t. I can’t stand them. They all look like they came out of a breakfast cereal box, designed by a child.
Out of a long list of hilarious video content, this is probably your best yet Andrew. The Invicta story at the end could be turned into a documentary. Thanks for cheering up an appropriately sunny Sunday morning!
"...as thick as a Corgi in a winter jacket..." Andrew, here goes my broken record again, but damn you can take information and spin it with sharp yet hilarious commentary - making for a perfect Sunday morning kickstart. Thanks - again!
Andrew, you've always made pleasing videos to watch, and this is no exception. With that many references to 1970s rock bands, you could easily become the next Jeremy Clarkson. Long live AMW and 70s rock music! ...and Jezza, of course.
Freakin awesome video as always bud!!! I loved the invicta story! How incredible to meet Dafour! What a legend. Man what I would do to go visit his workshop one day!
I finally had a bit of a break to devote my full attention to this. Andrew, I believe you missed a holiday tie-in. This collection of macabre and grotesque items would have made a perfect Halloween video!
To clarify, neither Thomas Andrews nor White Star Line claimed that the Titanic was unsinkable. Nor did the builder, Harland and Wolfe. A trashy newspaper (ie the UA-cam influencers of the day) claimed she was “practically unsinkable”. She was, however, likely the safest ship built to that time. She just had an accident that no one had imagined was likely.
Yes. I believe the benefits of her watertight doors were featured in one or two reputable engineering journals of the time. But no one expected a 300 foot gash.

I love the Leopard Daytona as Steven Tyler also owns one and I can’t think of a better watch for him to wear. He’s probably the only person who can pull it off. For that reason alone, I’m happy it exists.
Seeing Adrian, Teddy, and even Kevin was awesome, but for some reason, having Tim Mosso straight blew me away. He just seems like the watch nerd even Nico wishes he could be. Andrew, this is one of your best videos!
I think that Richard Mille watch was available at Spencer Gifts in my local mall in the 60's. Now I'm sad my mom wouldn't let me spend $5 of my paper route earnings on it!!!😢
So now we know the Gladiator was worn by all the watch industry insiders, to be like them and get a reaction, one must flex a reserve collection invicta with anETA movement. Invicta Finally getting the street cred they deserve
I was on a Mediterranean cruise about a month ago and I saw my first IRL Gladiator on the wrist of a man seemingly wearing it unironically. Little did I know it has the approval of Jack Forster himself.
I think you are doing a good job. this is a way to popularize watches and the market. Good English humor, don't take yourself too seriously, see what producer Michael wears :D . The watch business will be down for a while, but finally there is someone who enjoys the medium and knowledge more than stock charts...
To be fair to Romain Jerome, the metal used in the Titanic DNA were NOT from the ship, but were instead from the pieces that were leftover from building the hull in Belfast.
"The design was something of a mashup between a bicykle lock and a hand grenade and somehow it got the best bits from neither." - This sentence alone deserves a Pullitzer!
Philippe Dufour is really a legend. And look his watch: Class and style... but okay: Someone asked him once, why he doesn't wear his own watch and he said: I can't afford.
My favorite 2024 is the Prospex Limited Edition 1965 Recreation European Exclusive in Gradation Island Blue. The dial is stunning and the contrast when on a white strap is to die for. I will get my hands on one from AMZWATCH
9:46, The Blancpain is them trying to make a dive computer mechanical but also say hey it’s a 50 Phathoms. If there’s any watch company that’s so far removed from the community I think it’s blancpain.
I have the Timex Q in the video. While not my favourite watch band, I have not noticed it as a hair grabber. The watch is not a favourite either but I like the legibility of the day/date window.
One to add to your list - the Boldr watch commemorating the Radium Girls. Women who were poisoned in the 1920's by applying radioactive Radium Lume to watch dials, suffered horrific radiation injuries.
Definitely the most interesting & informative channel in UA-cam,and I am your fan! I’ve been watching MAMACOO and buying them recently to complement my watch collection. Good video
Vario make a lovely leather strap for the Q. Changed out my seconde/seconde batman & it's a game changer - lovely fit straight out of the box. Check it's the same lug width for the quartz as the auto
Even if I’d got that kind of money to buy a Richard Mille. I wouldn’t. I can’t stand them. They all look like they came out of a breakfast cereal box, designed by a child.
I have a theory that no one, like no one ever, likes RM. They just all think everyone else likes RM so they go along with it.
@@adeanh1 everyone sporting one is a brand ambassador.
Being the owner of a Timex M79 and also Having been detained at Guantanamo bay, I can confirm the Timex Q bracelet is indeed worse.

Amazing, man! I am starting to watch your videos more for the comedy than the watches 😂
"...as thick as a Corgi in a winter jacket..." Andrew, here goes my broken record again, but damn you can take information and spin it with sharp yet hilarious commentary - making for a perfect Sunday morning kickstart. Thanks - again!
Pure Win, Andrew - and the last bit was one hell of a surprise (and probably crazy-confusing for Invicta…making this all the funnier).
Andrew, you've always made pleasing videos to watch, and this is no exception. With that many references to 1970s rock bands, you could easily become the next Jeremy Clarkson. Long live AMW and 70s rock music!
...and Jezza, of course.
He’s certainly trying with that vocal iteration
i'd never thought i'd say this , but the last bit of the video made me want to buy this invicta before its price rockets up 😃😀😀
It’s so ugly 😂😂😂
oh it won't, don't worry
It will still never reach the MSRP of the watch though.
Do it
Tim just sold me on it
Freakin awesome video as always bud!!! I loved the invicta story! How incredible to meet Dafour! What a legend. Man what I would do to go visit his workshop one day!

The end was brilliant, and nice to see watch people don't take themselves too serious!
Breach choices Andrew. Your reference to “what’s in the box” from Se7en was fantastic. Keep up the great work and thank you.

A real return to the humour that’s made me chortle aloud so often, with more similes than a teenager’s Chat GPT homework.
I have to say that Teddy crushed the Gladiator. Extremely enjoyable list, Andrew, honestly.
Forget the Large Hadron Collider, we are lucky the universe did not break when Teddy put on the Gladiator.
So I'm watching this while donating plasma with headphones on and cracking up enough that they thought I was having a stroke!
Brilliant video. I love the end. Teddy and Adrian wearing an Invicta. Absolutley hillarious!
Andrew, I don’t think I have ever laughed this hard at a watch video. Brilliant writing. 😂😂
Nearly spit out my tea when he said "Anita Ward - Ring My Bell" 😂
Now that's how to do listical video. The build up to the last one made the payoff so much better.
As always the most thoughtful , well researched & eloquent watch channel around , keep AMZWATCH coming !
Just watched your video on watchfinder comparing the sugeas and AnS tourbillons. Please bring that quality back

Have some of that Neil deGrasse Tyson 😂😂
Dipping your arm in jam and punching a wasp nest. Right out of the gate - incredible
Great video! The Invicta montage is hilarious. Thank you, we don't deserve your genius but I'm grateful for it. Cheers!
I have to admit the "Anita Ward" bit made me spit out my coffee 😅
God mate, you’re really on fire, I’m laughing so much I forgot to look at the watches in question. Mic drop 👏

The end was really special. No bait for the first time !
That Timex Q "comic" strip is enough to keep me from wanting one.
Seeing Adrian, Teddy, and even Kevin was awesome, but for some reason, having Tim Mosso straight blew me away. He just seems like the watch nerd even Nico wishes he could be. Andrew, this is one of your best videos!
The Invicta is perhaps the most magnificent piece unique that I have ever had the pleasure of handling. Bravo, Andrew! 👏👏👏

OMG, for a minute there, I was about to start looking at pricing for that Gladiator. That was the best thing ever. I am still literally crying.
That was amazing Andrew
Brilliant, as usual!
My cat got quite agitated at 3:30. I'd consider that sound effect choice a success.
I can't believe that Titanic watch actually got beyond the concept stage.
Bonkers
I'm wondering how its even legal to take bits from the Titanic in the first place, is it not supposed to be a grave...
I’m glad I stuck around till the end 👏🏼 👏🏼
I noticed the physicist Brian Cox wearing the Hawking watch.
I want to devour your "Meow!" - priceless!
The Blancpain was BRUTAL😂
What a fantastic and entertaining ending. Thank Andrew.

Mille watches are like the ones you would get taped as a giveaway to the Summer special of the Beano and the Dandy.
The Richard Mille “Magic 8-ball” …(in titanium, of course)… fastest recorded route to celibacy known to man.
Proving emphatically that the Swiss watch industry is alive and well and full of the worst designers, marketeers and decision makers in Europe

Ouch, the zenith is hideous on another level. Eyes hurt.
Did not see that twist ending coming. So cool!
“A strap made from Neil deGrasse Tyson’s smugness” OMG 😂😂😂 I nearly choked at this
Love the Timex Q. It’s my Gada…..now that it’s on a NATO.
I just pissed myself laughing at that Rolex...it makes quite a few Invictas look tasteful.
Horological hip replacements..... I turn 60 soon, that made me laugh with knowing appreciation.....
