I’m totally with you on this one. I feel like there’s definitely some early slipknot influence on this song, but it doesn’t go too far so it still sounds like slaughter.
There’s one more video off this album, “agony”, so Baba Yaga is the third released so far

Когда я сравниваю первые песни ребят и новый материал и этот клип и всю движуху вокруг него, я скажу - это невероятное желание быть лучшими в своем ремесле невероятными, маниакальными усилиями! Я это очень уважаю! respect STP!!! Made in Russia!

Я и раньше знал о существовании этой группы и даже слушал, но для меня это был обычный невзрачный дэткорчик, ведь я угараю больше по металу, а не по кору. А вот сейчас у пацанов вырисовывается своё уникальное и интересное звучание и видно, как они активно прогрессируют, что очень круто. Я бы даже сказал, что STP и Баба Яга и Demolisher в частности открыли мне новый взгляд на дэткор. Если весь Костолом, который выйдет 13 августа, будет как Баба Яга, то это будет настоящая революция, как по мне.
@@memedaddy793 чего солисту не хватает, так это вокала, петь он абсолютно не умеет, имхо конечно, но ему бы погонять на вокал, а то гроулить топово может, но красивого пения как у слипов и прочих солистов нет

@@memedaddy793 вот тут прям плюсую под каждым словом. Я тоже больше метал и рок, но чисто случайно у кого в ролике типа "самые тяжелые песни" я увидел этих ребят. И трек Demolisher бьл прослушан раз 15 подряд, потом баба яга. Я для себя открыл новый взгляд на дедкор. И щас я решил послушать что было у них до этого, ну прям такое себе, слушать я это не стал. :)

You should check out shadow of intent if you haven't yet. "Malediction" would be a great start. Their drummer Anthony Barone is one of the best and their vocalist is right there with Alex. Infact Alex was featured on their track "the gathering of all".

I think Alex was inspired by Slipknot. And that's a good thing, I grew up to Slipknot that's the band that got me into Metal.
Alex has routinely stated that slipknot is his favorite band! Favorite vocalist being Cory Taylor. This song was kind of a nod toward that inspiration.

About tanks, in case you've been wandering. In Russia there're several special grounds where you can RENT dismissed tank, drive it on the offroad and even BLOW UP A BUNCH OF CARS with it's gun. It's not cheap of course, but it's legal business and government isn't involved afaik.

Always funny for me to hear people talk about Slipknot. They are the only well known thing from this state. (I've lived in Iowa since I was 2) I never really liked them, but it's cool that people from around the world know about Iowa especially since they made their album name Iowa.
