Pioneer 074 is a entry level Av system. Sub is Passive it would have been better if it was Active. Also Speakers are outdated...they have been using these sattelite speakers since they lainched there 1st model HTP 070 years back

Hi. Nice video. After returning the infinity sound bar. I was planning to buy Pioneer 76 home theatre system and now u have also no worries for buying. One question I have. I don't have hdmi ARC port in my Sony led tv. But as per my understanding we have to connect all our device to Pioneer reciver and then connect from HDMI out put to TV HDMI. So is it necessary that tv should have hdmi ARC port.. thanks
Doctor Sahab one must have HDMI ARC port to take the full benefit from this system. If you don't have it in your TV, then don't buy this system. Normal HDMI port won't transmit sound to the system 😊
Arc nahi hai to koi problem nahi hai, aap laptop,dth, Android box se direct input deke use kar sakte ho.av receiver isiliye to hota hai....arc not a big deal..

1. In yamaha home theatre system..( without bluetooth ).... Can we play songs from mobile by connecting a bluetooth dongle to the usb port.
2. I have samsung RU 7470 ..50inch tv, is it wise to connect it to yamaha system via hdmi ( ARC).
3. I have downloaded movies in my hard-drive, can i play them with full sound effects via tv to yamaha system.

My current Home theater has tx-nr579 AVR and Bose BOSE ACOUSTIMASS 10 SERIES , 5.1 speakers - active woofer
Need suggestion on the below points.
ONKYO tx-nr579 and HDMI port of tx-nr579 is faulty now , its not providing 5.1 DTS/Dolby output. HDMI board is not available now.
With this background , please suggest me following
1) Suggest new 5.1 AVR with additional ATMOS Speaker facility. Requirement is that Repairs/service/spare parts must be available in India
2) Suggest a additional ATMOS ceiling speaker.
3) How to get content which is streaming in 5.1 an ATMOS?
4) Is there any benefit in buying APPLE set top box?
About d SONY HOME THEATRE, Actually I hv 9200, d top end in sony. D/f b/w both is 7200 comes with book shelf speakers n 9200 comes with standing speakers
Pros
1. Speakers n DVD looks gorgeous with d glass finish u will fall in Love with it. It sines like a diamond.
2. Dvd disk opening is unique n is touch screen.
3. Sound quality is good Trible n mids n good bass, Bass is at a good level.... Bass lovers will not like it....
4. Leaving Dolby Atmos Dolby things work perfectly, sterio is sometimes converted ino surround sound.
5.Back speakers r wired but good it has another set of box.
Cons
1. Too expensive 62ks man, feature r too not that grt. IV300(20ks) n thz has d same features, then wt d use of purchasing ? IV 300 hv 1 speaker in each box n thz has 4.
2. Maintenance is difficult, u hv to wip it every week atleast n easily gets scratched due to glass finish. U should use a computer wipping clothe.
3. Center speakers is not that loud compared to other speakers, sometimes couldn't hear dialogue at all.
4.1200 watt ? It's not that Loud but how they claims its so much. My friend has JBL that's louder than thz but just 800 watt.
5. I'm a SONY lover bought it with so much of expectation but not satisfied.
Sony takes lots money n r filling to give quality products, this keeps up.... Bye bye SONY WELL COME JBL

I have PS4 pro and planning to buy PS5 in future.
Both will be overkill to your room size. However you should go for Pioneer from Direct seller ONLY, and place the surround Channels on some height in order to achieve Atmos effect 😊

1) Can above player play movies from USB pen drive (MP4, MKV, AVI format with H265 codec). Amazon specification shows "USb drive is only to power external streaming devices like Amazon Fire Stick or Chromecast or similar devices connected to the receiver" Can you please clarify. I cant see Usb port in front panel of the machine.
2) Is it active or passive subwoofer. What is the difference bwt both.
3) Amzon says unavialable. By any chance can you recommend me name of any other authorized reseller who gives warranty also.
4) When was this model launched. I hope it recent one with all recent specifications n ports
5) What is the specification of best HDMI cable for this. I need to buy one.

1. Pioneer htp 076 doesn't have e-arc connectivity. Will it produce Dolby Atmos?
2. Do the sorround speakers connected via wire or are those wireless?
Like the way u present the specification and ranking based on comparison. Honest reviews .....It would be great if u make a video on Motorola home threater and sound bars and provide the comparison with same priced equipment on other brands
How come u left out ONKYO & Denon? Maybe another time. I also suggest- instead of saying everytime 2 side speakers centre channel etc. why dont u just say 5.1. Everybody knows this configuration by now.. it will save u time. Please also give speaker combinations for more high end receivers which do not provide speakers in the box
Dear Mr.Malhotra thank you for making this video but if you can add subtitles it will be easy to understand what you are saying as i am unable to follow what you are saying. I know it is a pain sticking stuff but trust me reaching out to global audience it will be good that too parts in India where they dont understand the language that you speak. Also these sub-woofers are passive hence playing proper 4k dvd or 1080 dvd will work fine other than that these sub-woofers are total waste, if you are playing something from Amazon or netflix the sub-woofers will suffer a lot giving noise rather than sounding pleasantly or the way it should work.

Hi Vineet, Nice video well made. A few cons. Please clarify wattage in RMS. When you say Sony is 1200w or pioneer is 870w most people watching this video will assume that Sony is superior because of more watts. In fact watts without THD, ohms rating, all channels driven and other parameters is of no use Also I have seen certain some systems with 10 % THD which is nonsense. Also call speakers front, surround, centre and subwoofer for a 5.1 HTS. I have more to say but post might become too long. cheers Vinod.

Hello, I buy the pioneer HT 76 after watching the review. Just want to ask how I will I get the atmos active. I am using amzon stick for watching movies. But when I press the sound mode to change to atmos it's not showing. Rest every thing is showing other than atmos. Want to do any thing to active that one. Thank u

Pioneer system you have reviewed doesn’t seem to have Dolby Atmos, I checked the Pioneer website. It says only Dolby Vision in the specifications.

Dear Vineet ji, I have a Library of 17 by 17 with good aquatics. Please let me know that if Yamaha YHT-3072 Home Theatre as you suggested is only designed to watch movies (through projector I have) or if I install it in my library, I can enjoy high quality audio music (connect through my laptop). I need to know instead of buying Denon 250 or Bose Home speaker 500 which are self amplified. If Yamaha YHT-3072 is a better option in term of quality sound & multi speakers. Your answer will certainly impact on what I will go in for library.
