I turned up a song in the car once, and got attacked because someone years ago had dedicated it to her dead friend...??! How am I supposed to be aware of that ?? What 😂 That’s just called entitlement. You’re allowed to be triggered yes. Nothing can stop it to be Frank. It will happen in life. It’s a part of being damaged humans which we all are. But the onus is on you to leave the group when you’re triggered and work through your shit. Cry, tantrum, shake, hammer your toy. You can’t control others just because you were hurt. That’s just as damaged a reaction. Don’t let hurt people control you and what you can say. Tell them kindly, tell them straight, and let them be triggered. It will benefit them in the long run.
