2 brilliant boxers that sadly had their careers scarred by big fights that had disastrous endings. Neither were the same after Benn vs McClellan or Eubank vs Watson. Really nice to see that these days they have such a good relationship built on respect and seem happy when they see each other. On another note I remember my brother telling me years ago ( early to mid 90’s) he saw Nigel Benn at an airport buying a meal and tipped the waitress about £50, my brother spoke him briefly and said he seemed like a top guy.

The first Benn v Eubank fight in November 1990 was brilliant though!! A war in the ring!!
Tyson, Lewis, Bruno, Mccall, bowe, Collins, Naseem, etc the 90s had some brilliant boxers
There will never be two British boxers with as much drama, quality, determination and sheer entertainment value than Ben and Eubank. I count myself lucky to have been able to watch all of their fights in the glory days of British boxing.
Determination?😅🤣
Benn was determined to make up two injuries to pull out mid fight against Steve Collins
@@franko1174 wrong fight mate I'm commenting on the Eubank Battles, Collins wouldn't have lasted 4 rounds with Ben at his peak.
@@Salubrious101 😅🤣🤣😂
They were both the same age when quitter Benn fought Collins
@@Salubrious101 Nigel "I love a good tear up"Benn, his arse went twice against Collins when he couldn't hurt him!😂
2 fantastic fighters, and one of the greatest fights I have ever seen. Glad both warriors are still with us today
I had goosebumps watching this! Absolutely phenomenal editing and your voice is on another level, keep it up!!💪🏽🙏
This fight had no parliamentary procedure at all!
The most dangerous thing about nigel benn was when you backed him on the ropes. He was a lose canon and could jump from his heels off the rope and hit you with everything he had.
@@Mo-xx9gg and when he wasn't!
Dangrouse if he fell on you, otherwise, a bit gay
@@plod5578 and I am sure you would say that to his face right?
@@stevesimmons1602 Yes, why do you ask.
You're right farmer oz. Gerald Mclelland fight was one of the maddest fights I've ever seen
One of the greatest fight I've seen unreal ❤️ from both them!!
Some of those shots they took and ate were insane!
I've never heard of either boxer, but man, that was a war. Nigel reminded me of Tyson. Thanks for posting.
I watched it that night here UK in a pub & all hell broke out with in there with bens fans.
This was epic back in the day, loved it.
Nigel Benn is one of my favourite fighters ever. Love the guy
most exciting British boxer the uk ever had. win or lose you know you were going to see a war with Benn
Don’t forget prince naseem
Excellent breakdown of this legendary fight ,one of the best commentary I ever head.
Two greatest Gladiators to ever grace the ring!!
Well, no, not really. I mean they were great and all but let's get some perspective here.
Maybe in UK. But not in the states.
@@hmm6415 In all fairness their fights were as compelling as anything that happened in that states, there may have been one or two fights that were even more brutal or non-stop but not many. These fights are right up there.
However, it wasn't an armed fight to the death, so hardly "the greatest gladiators ever to grace the ring".
The respect I have for these two warriors I can’t even explain in a UA-cam post. They’re simply true kings of an era 💯✊🏾 Thank you gents for putting on one of the best rivalries we’ve ever seen
This is when boxing was boxing. Before HOF baked fighters made millions without actually having talent of fighting that much.
I grew up in the era of watching these tigers, my god they were phenomenal, lightening, was a pleasure to have seen this generation of fighters….it’s an era gone…
I met Benn a year ago. Nicest bloke ever and he still had bone rattling power in his punches.
These 2 men were frighteningly tough... so much personal pride at stake they refused to give up...
This is Hagler-Hearns 2, a total war.
The most exciting boxer Britain has ever had, he was just box office, loved his aggresive style, Legend
“I come here for weethpect, weethpect for me, & weethpect for my family” C. Eubanks…. Probably 😂
I remember this fight when I was 13/14 years old. Everyone at school was buzzing the next day. The only fight bigger than this in the early 90's for us would have been Lennox Lewis vs Ruddock
I still remember that Lewis Ruddock fight as it was on Halloween, we’d watched some BBC weird programme called Ghostwatch before it and were proper bouncing. One of the all time great nights 😀
2 absolute legend's of British boxing, never to be forgotten.
Absolute war of a fight. One of my favourites
Mine too. Well, apart from the ending.
This is a what a long awaiting fight should look like. These current champion wouldn't dare to fight like this. Cheers from California
Nigel punched harder but Eubank had the stronger chin! I'd also say Chris had the bigger heart!
Never believed that. Both equal in punching power. Benn just threw more big punches. Eubank picked them better.
I agree. Eubanks hard a great chin. No one really talks enough about it
Nobody in the history of boxing had more heart the nigel in my eyes
Thanks for this channel. It's a masterpiece!!
Damn, this was a really thrilling video. Got really invested in it.
"Putting the fear of God in his opponents" Classic.. 🤣
🐐 tier british match up
Absolute legends! Thanks for uploading.
This dude sounds like the UFC guy that does the embedded series haha
How could anyone, boxing fan or not, who lived through this golden era every forget these two. Both magnificent for their own attributes. Never saw a harder fighting man than Benn. Never saw a more intelligent and effective boxer than Eubank. Could be argued their attributes countered each others to the point they became the nemesis of each other. Would've been better for British boxing as a whole if they'd arrived in different decades and thus never had to face each other.
Watching Ben fight made me wince. Watching Eubanks made me gape with awe. I feel privileged to have seen both of them in victory and again both of them in defeat. Thank you gentlemen.
THE,ARMY DIDN'T BOTHER ISSUE IN NIGEL WITH A RIFLE THEY JUST GAVE HIM A PAIR OV GLOVES, 🥊🥊
A TRULY classic fight in every sense of the word. Two fantastic boxers in their prime.
DAMN - That was a dope a$$ fight. Respect to both of these great warriors.
These vids are so awesome thank you for making this
I remember watching the fight on tv back in 1990. It was the best fight I've ever seen. No jabs, just a complete war from start to finish.
That was very well made
👏👏👏 Well done.
I used to love watching them fight back in the day
This is a special match to me because this is the only boxing match me my brother and dad watched together, good days🙂🥊
Very special. Is your dad still around? Lost mine this year.
I just moved to England from France yet never felt so British when I saw that fight and I was hooked.. Englaaaaaaand
These videos are amazing....eubank was my favourite boxer
No man has very many fights like that in him.
Physically and mentally an expensive way to make a living. A truly epic effort.
The dark destroyer... What a fighter... Love you man
Watching this now brings out the same emotions as when I watched it live. I loved both of these fighters and it was a great time in British boxing.
Both men are tough as nails. Much respect for Eubank. Much love for Nigel Ben.
Tough dude with a a lot of heart, these old heads fought a different game back then man.
Chris lacerating his tongue and fighting on. Think about how much that would hurt
Eubank was granite tough.
Underneath all the posturing, he was bloody tough, amazing physical conditioning and chin.
Man your channel is the best i watch all your videos everyday i mean all of it please keep bringing the old days boxing nowadays boxing is dead and less entertainment
Those two were in incredible shape, they put modern boxers to shame.
How
What an absolute war between two contrasting but clinical fighters, in their own way. Both fighters were, and remain, two of my favourites. Both absolute warriors.
This is a classic fight! The Jones jr vs James Toney version fights of the England
