Yeah, I remember years ago during her reality TV show "The Real McCoy" she did talk about how she only wears white because black represents sadness for her, particularly as it applies to her father's funeral. She is very much a self-proclaimed daddy's girl and she said as close as she was to her father, wearing black just brings her back to the day of his funeral as she is kinda touching on in this clip. So...exactly as she mentioned, she chose to lift her spirits and wear no other color in her personal style (off screen/movies and TV shows) except white because of what the color tend to represent.

Is it just me, like every time I wear a white top I get something on it. I guess us “commoners/everyday people” who have to do everything for ourselves just can’t afford to keep buying white clothes that only get dingy because we have to do the best we can to wash them to get stains out ourselves instead of sending them out to be professionally laundered. White House Black Market actually used to be two different stores. One that only sold white clothes, the other only Black clothes. Then they combined the stores and would also include Black and White clothing which were my favorite, but now they sell clothes of all colors. I think it's a neat idea to do again.

I totally understand this. Right before my brother died I had just redecorated my townhouse. Weeks after his funeral, I felt even more grief stricken, everytime I came to to my laid out townhouse. So, I gave away all my new furniture and got all white everything. It felt so lifted.
Me aswell, I went through grief and had to paint the whole house damn near. My favorite color is chocolate brown and I had to make the cabinets coconut 🥥 twist and other areas of the house lighter. Never have gone back because I feel better with lighter colors

I had a college professor who’s favorite color was purple. She told us how she had a purple car, house, clothes, shoes, books, etc. Which nothing was wrong with that in my opinion. Some people find happiness in colors and there’s that one color that stands out the most which in her case is white. I enjoy white towels/bedding because it makes me feel clean which I do have an OCD about hygiene so I love the fact of using bleach for sanitation and it’s something about white that brings me peace where others may find black or other colors their preference.

The world would be rather boring if that wasn’t so. What if all the trees everywhere had brown leaves? We would probably say those trees ought to produce different color leaves. White House Black Market actually used to be two different stores. One that only sold white clothes, the other only Black clothes. Then they combined the stores and would also include Black and White clothing which were my favorite, but now they sell clothes of all colors. I think it's a neat idea to do again.

I totally understand this. Right before my brother died I had just redecorated my townhouse. Weeks after his funeral, I felt even more grief stricken, everytime I came to to my laid out townhouse. So, I gave away all my new furniture and got all white everything. It felt so lifted.

I had a college professor who’s favorite color was purple. She told us how she had a purple car, house, clothes, shoes, books, etc. Which nothing was wrong with that in my opinion. Some people find happiness in colors and there’s that one color that stands out the most which in her case is white. I enjoy white towels/bedding because it makes me feel clean which I do have an OCD about hygiene so I love the fact of using bleach for sanitation and it’s something about white that brings me peace where others may find black or other colors their preference.
