What If You Don't Assist Diamond City Security in Fighting the Super Mutants?

- Have you ever considered what would happen if you chose not to help the Diamond City security officers fight the super mutants in Fallout 4, and just stood there watching? When you first approach Diamond City, you can see a battle between the guards and the super mutants. But what if you just stand there, waiting for the guards to handle the super mutants on their own and do nothing? I decided to find out. I started a new game, left the vault, and ran straight to Diamond City. The journey was tough since I was only level one, but somehow, I managed to reach the spot where the guards were fighting the super mutants. This time, instead of drawing my weapon and helping the brave guards take down the green mutants, I decided to just wait and let them handle it themselves. It took an incredibly long time, but I waited patiently, and here's what happened

most companions do. the only ones that don't are X3, Ada, Cait, and I think strong
I see them duking it out all the time even after I’ve helped them more than once.
It’s funny being in Hangman’s Ally as you almost constantly hear gunshots because of the Super Mutants and DC Guards fighting around the corner. It’s like, is my settlement in danger, no, those are just the neighbors fighting again.
It honestly depends, one of my playthroughs the super mutants won. It can go either way.
Then what happened? They stayed there or went to attack other guards?

This is where I farm the diamond city guard gear from 😂 they always lose the fight
@@billyhatcher605 lol one time I vats shot a mine next to a guard and it killed the guard. The guards won that fight but didn't turn against me and I got the gear from the guard 😅
Tip: let one of the securities die for their unique armor

people say this game has fewer options than the other games, but this man right here is showing those people otherwise.
Because this game is a good Fallout from Bethesda, it hit me when I was attacked by a huge crab hidden in the bus. I'm talking about the game without any mods.
They're talking about real options that actually affect story or gameplay.
Usually the dialogue does not even change, this channel is good at pointing out exceptions though.
People who say Fallout 4 has less to it than the previous games simply haven't played it enough or explored enough. It has WAY more than Fallout 3 and New Vegas combined, and so many side quests and random encounters, not to mention the endless fun you can have with building and linking settlments.
Only 4 dialogue options really ruins and the fact you can’t kill certain people is just outrageously stupid. They fall down get up and can’t be killed. So so stupid. You kill a certain person it should say “mission failed” to however missions were available if you didn’t kill or betray someone like it always has been
Usually, the guards would die during my play through and I'd take their armor, good when first starting the game to get armor
I feel like I help these guys every other day, and they never compliment me, or thank me or anything!

This happens for me, sometimes. Not out of choice, just the way I'd approached the city.
I usually let them fight so i can loot the armor off the guards at an early level 💀
I completely forgot about that fight in my most recent "Skyrim in Fallout" playthrough. Just kinda waltzed up to the gate and Pipers cute self holding Grognaks Axe with Cait in towe holding a Super Sledge. Lol
I have literally never helped them. I didn't realize I was supposed to, seeing as how that's their job not mine. Oh yeah, I'm Mr. Nice Guy now? No. I'm not. Pay me or take care of it yourself.
When I got there they alr beat them and they said that 💀
Great early gear if they die. Super handy in survival mode. I used that armor until I unlocked ballistic weave.

No. I’ve seen that fight happen like 3 times. I think they just spawn there every now and then
Maybe you entered by a different route. This fight is only in one area. I entered from the west the first time, and ran away, I got scared thinking the guards were hostile, and the second time I came back, from the north, the fight didn't happen. Probably because I triggered it the first time and just ran off.
@@haydennaughton6307 I also thought the guards were hostile my first time which was funny because I was being chased by wild dogs (forgot the name) and I attacked him and realized he was out of my league so me and the dogs had to jump him then I killed the dogs and wore his armor for majority of my time playing

huh? it's literally happening right near the main entrance EVERY time you go there. If it's not, go sleep somewhere for 24 hours then come back, it's a constantly occuring event even after you kill all the supermutants the first time, they regularily respawn and start the fight again.
Could you try using a vertibird callinggrenade when you are an enemy of the BoS?
I have left them to fight by themselves on many occasions a few times one dies and I take there armour and weapon for low lvl people they have great armour

I stood and waited 5 minutes for one their armours if a mutant killed them… didn’t happen so ended up slaying a guard in an alley and stealing his, just left for a few days and everything was good 🤣🤣🤣🤣
