I'm not a big Jim Beam drinker but this is an outstanding value. I'm also enjoying the Dickel 8 Year Bourbon which is right in the same price range. I'll have to make up a blind of 3-4 readily available $25-$35 bottles. Regular black label JD, Dickel 8 Year Bourbon, Jim Beam Black 7 Year maybe Knob Creek 9 Year as you suggested. Great review.
Old Tub was hyped up to be as good as Wild Turkey. It was not haha. It’s just unfiltered Beam at 100 proof. I ended up putting it in Manhattans I believe
Just passed on this I will get it but had a bottle of EW hero’s 1793 and had to get that bottle I’m a veteran. Also got a Green River bourbon for the first time. Will open soon. Enjoy. The bottle at my store was a handle. 46 so pretty good deal.
Spent the day hunting bourbon a few weeks ago in mid michigan, saw 1 bottle at 1 store and 4 at another, bought a bottle for $20. Wasn't that bad but prefer Old Tub over it. Alot of the old JB black still on the shelf . On the fence on getting another one. 👍🥃😉 Cheers
Great timing on this review. Picked up the Jim Beam Black 7 Year yesterday and planned to crack it open tonight. Nothing wrong with Vanilla, Brown Sugar and Oak / Caramel and Butterscotch. I paid $22.99 for it. 🥃 I have not had Jim Beam Single Barrel or Repeal Batch. I do not mind Old Tub for the $18 I paid for it. Would not buy another though. You can compare the Jim Beam 7 Year against the Baker’s 7? 🥃
I liked your comparisons but first I have heard of the 7 year bourbon. My brother in law got one and was sharing the information with me. Got to try it
I used to have an old Jim Beam black wasn’t necessarily a big fan, but that could’ve been at the bottle was around for a while and changed. I do look forward to trying the new seven year. See if it’s any good. 🥃😎

Great review.
Nice review! I’ll pay a little more and have Knob Creek, Baker’s 7, etc.
Bought it for $20.00. It's a fantastic deal at that price. Drinks easy. I have nothing bad to say about this bottle. I'll buy it again, no doubt.
JB 7 year is not that good. 1792 is much better at about the same price.

Mash and Drum just did so not wanting to copy him on the Baker’s 7. Thinking about other head-2-heads though. Thanks.
I really liked the Jim Beam 7 Year for $23. It will make a good first pour of the night. 🥃

Nice.
