- So excited to unbox this great new release from Vinegar Syndrome and Paramount - It's "The Prophecy" three film box set in 4K! I'm a big fan of these movies and can't wait to give them all a rewatch.

Hey Bro, very nice set! I cannot tell if the Blu-ray discs are also taken from the new 4k Remaster. When you kindly were going through the special features and what is included, it did not specify if the Blu-rays included also are taken from the new 4k Remaster. Being Vinegar Syndrome I am GUESSING that they are and are not simply the same old Blu-rays that have been released years earlier.
Is there any way for you to tell, there are no clear reviews on this out yet. I would REALLY appreciate if you could give me your thoughts on this. The reason being is that I do not have 4k playback capability yet, but I DO have the older Blu-rays. If the Blu-rays included in this nice set are from the new Remaster it would then be worth buying this to have those and for a future time when I hopefully will have 4k. But, if these are simply the old Blu-ray masters then I basically already have those.

Thank you for watching and thanks for the kind words! I think you're correct - the blu-ray discs are most likely remastered as well. Unfortunately, I don't have a 4K player either, so I don't have a great way to compare anything. But the blu-rays look GREAT! I would go for it. :)
