Really appreciate this video. I'm awaiting my first statue from Sideshow sometime in early 2025 and it's helpful to understand the whole landscape of statue manufacturers. Definitely going to watch your back catalog of videos now.
Maiden Mike with the tough questions over here tonight! I think each company knows their place in the hobby and they know how to cater to their collector base. in my opinion it becomes dangerous when all these companies get muddled together into the same sauce. Depending on budget, space, and character preference each company has their spot in the collecting community we just gotta decide which lane we want to drive in. Cheers Brother!

No I’ve followed you for a while but took a break from collecting and now I’m back. “Just when I thought I was out they pull me back in” lol. Plus I was collecting mostly 1/6 and now only statues
My man happy new year.. great video!! My fav statue company is JND. I don’t have much space so I try to get quality over quantity. I love prime 1 after jnd.. then it’s sideshow and tweeter head. The best reasonablely price is tweeterhead. These are my opinion.. infinite studios carry a lot of historical movie icons. I love classic movie pieces. Queen studios is solid..
From a price/quality ratio hands down Sideshow, but my No. 1 statues producer goes to Prime 1. Sure, some and most new ones are expensive af but have a bunch of then and I never was disappointed. But I've seen some XM pieces and they are also amazing.

For me is it Sideshow, since I own almost just Sideshow pieces. I like the simplicity of the statues and yet they can compete with other companys. The price point is also one of Sideshow plus point. Even for shipping to europe, I paid from 100 - 200 $. But if I had more space , I'm sure I would also collect some of the other companies statues.
@@MrGizmo5602 sideshow makes hollow pieces shotty paint work and other issues from researching them and collector group posts and videos. Sideshow is great for garage sale pieces👌🏻
In my collection I have XM Studios the most. They are the only company making different characters auch as Swamp Thing, Nova, Maestro, Super Skrull that Sideshow wont touch. Sideshow and Prime 1 statues go on sale all the time but XM has low ES and you rarely see sales. IMO its what makes a collectible a collectible. I agree with you that other companies are catching up though. Prume 1 is drowning in Batman statues. Queen is a hugh volume shooter like you said. Good video brother Mike

Also forgot PCS they take horror films. I collect horror statues. PCS is in my top 5. I want that candy man statue from them.

I have both Sideshow and XM studios 1/6 scale statues. Both are excellent, but if I had to pick one, I’d probably go with XM.

PCS is probably my fav. I say they because their animated TMNT and Transformer statues are my favorites. Second would be sideshow for their x-men line
