  • See why my father missed the better part of the 2023 Dove Season because of Benelli's poor design. We attempt to fix it with a new part. Benelli knows about this problem but continues to take your 2,000$...

I have shot benelli every since the original super black eagle and have loved them the only one I have had issue with is the Vinci I currently shoot the sbe3 in 12 and 20 gauge and I am rough with them and have had no issues

Also all mine have a metal rib that look nothing like that my sight screws straight into the rib from the top no set screw

Generally they have been good guns for us too but this hot garbage is flat not acceptable…

I know its frustrating, but I have owned Benellis' for over 15 years. I have the Vinci, Super Eagle, Ethos, and any issue I have had they have bent over backwards to make it right. The Vinci had an issue with the paint peeling, and they sent me an entirely new gun to make it right and I never had an issue again. I have the Carbon fiber ramp on both the Ethos and Ethos Upland and I haven't had an issue with them breaking and I shoot 8000 rounds a year with those guns. I use skeet loads, game loads, and heavy loads and haven't experienced any jamming.

At least they took care of you, glad to hear they have taken care of some of their issues but I can tell you after this experience, we will never be purchasing another Benelli… this experience burned us! I have over 8k in one of my PRS rifles, I’m absolutely not afraid to spend money on quality stuff but what I got for my 8k is rock solid and after 1,000’s of rounds I have never had a single issue. I guess I will see if they reach out, maybe I will be retracting these statements but for now I can tell you for sure Benelli will NOT be getting anymore of my money!

He’s knocked that rib on something and broke it.

Yeah… he definitely busted that rib on something moving the gun around.

Did you try to put the screw through the other side?

I wish they would just put a metal rib on these. Not only would it be more durable but it would help with balance. I handled a 28 gauge SBE3 with a 28" barrel and it was extremely stock heavy.

I kept the old rib so I could try to machine one out of aluminum. Whenever I get around to making it, I will put out a video on it. If I don’t have too much time in building one then I may be able to offer them to folks who have this problem.

@@OldBarkerRanch1981 it should never have been carbon fiber to begin with. How much weight did they save?? Not enough to make a difference I’m sure.

Benelli are not worth the money, I have had 3 they are definitely jam masters, gas operated is definitely better way less recoil and definitely more reliable, Especially when it gets cold , get a SX4 or a maxus both mine are way better all the way around

If benelli's guns were as good as there marketing they would be the only gun manufacturer in the world. They know that the US market hates high shooting guns , but they keep putting the damn high ribs on them anyway. Theirs better guns than benelli at a quarter of the price....... I have personally been thru three benelli's over the years..... I tried to like them , didn't work out

Second that on Beretta being better. I have a couple Silver Pigeons and they never fail. On Autos with your father aging and desiring to go sub caliber, consider the Beretta a400's XPLOR Upland in 28 gauge with a kick off. I also have another a400, a Beretta a400 Xtreme in 20 gauge with kick off in camo for ducks. I'm also well over 65 and there is magic in those softer kicking shotguns. I only own one Benelli and its a first gen. Super Black Eagle, its supposed to be their pinnacle foundation in the SBE lineage but despite nothing ever breaking, it gradually became a reliable nightmare before the term Benelli Click became vogue. I too have an expensive paper weight that is not 100% reliable. Good video on getting the truth out there!
