Been quite happy with my XTR but not sure I agree with getting one for the Sat Nav. The bigger screen is good but I prefer to connect my phone and use google maps. Definitely agree that clearview mirrors would be an advantage. Cheers and good walkthrough.
Nice vid! I’m going to get a quote for one of these trays. I keep wondering can the dog box vent be moved towards the back of the vehicle on request? Or can 2 windows be installed? Cheers
i would love one of these canopies. But the price i was quoted with fridge carrier for a freestyle cab was $35k. unjustifiable considering a brand new bt50 only cost $60 or less.
Why did you change from an upright fridge to a chest fridge? I know it's cheeky to ask but is it to show off the clearview slide or is there another reason that you guys found along the way?
Hi Callin, it's a little of both mate. I needed more freezer space for upcoming trips and we also didn't have a ES220 on display across our current range of demonstrator builds. So it was a win-win. - Harry
Since you're a BT-50 owner, I would like to ask you about the steering knuckles problem pointed out by other owners. Are you aware about it ? Did you notice anything about it ? Owners are talking of regular problem of wheels alignement and premature tyres wear. I was interested about the BT-50, but this steering knuckles things is kinda a let down. Just trying to figure out if that's really that bad, or more rumors than anything else. Thanks.
The upgrade head unit from the next model up goes straight in and works 100%
Great to see and hear a honest review, thanks mate
Thanks Matty!

Is that armax snorkel the one listed for the d-max? Because i cant find a safari armax listing for the bt-50 specifically.
Thanks

Hi, give our team in the office a call mate, they will be able to help and make a small change like that no worries. - Harry
Have you had any tyre wear issues from bump steer or did you change steering knuckles
Maybe a silly question but why did u change from the upright fridge to a waeco on a drop slide????
Almost as good as the WF Fabrication trays down here in Victoria, still not a bad tray though👍🏻
Thanks for the comment

What was the cost of the Lovells GVM/GCM upgrade?
The Lovells kit came in just under 8k. Highly recommend for peace of mind and legality. - Harry
Whats it weigh with full tanks and no ppl or gear?
Without me and my gear, it comes in at 3120kg. - Harry
Whats axle load over each axle? 3120 kg without gear

its a bump steer issue. Just rotate every 5-10k, keep it aligned and you will have no issue.
