The 2020 on BT50 is an Isuzu DMax, roll out of the same factory in Thailand , not just the engine, the whole car chassis , trans electronics etc etc is identical bar the grille, bonnet, tail lights and interior trim and of course the notable difference between the two is that the Isuzu has better cup holders! The choice of which to buy comes down to the visuals. Cant go wrong with either, many happy miles.

I went looking for a ute which I wanted a ute which I didnt need to touch for the rest of my life. As I went looking I saw the one I bought [ Dec 2023 ] which had rear wheel drive [ as I dont plan going off road ] C chassis 2 seater with Gal tray in metallic black, tinted windows, reverse camera...Never owned a diesel or a high ute previously...I added Bull Bar, spot lights, 140 liter fuel tank.......CONS radio is hard to get too till you touch some extra buttons to turn it on. Bluetooth wont allow you to ring when driving if NOT in speed dial. Incoming calls are silent. Radio reception is barely passable. Glove box too small......Pro's New ute.

Hey, I've only just stumbled upon your channel so I'm sorry if you've explained why in the past but what made you go from an extra cab to a dual cab? I'm wanting to buy an extra cab so any feedback would be appreciated 🙂

Hey mate, thanks so much for watching and subscribing. We loved the space cab and it was perfect for what we were initially using it for. But we plan to have this new car for quite some time and the extra seats will be necessary. Having the extra space in the back for touring has also come in handy so far! The only downside is that the tray/canopy sit much further back over the rear axle.
