Hey Kayla!! Another fellow J.B Hunt driver here. I work on the Belk support account outta SC. Trust me I get it. I have had 1 unfortunate run in with an account that was absolutely terrible transferring from Chicago Inter-modal to the Atlanta Regional Inter-modal, but for the most part the experience you get at J.B really does vary based on the managers/people on the account. that is one thing that i don't really like, but it is what it is unfortunately. I wish you the best of luck moving forward in trucking. Stay safe out here and keep the shiny side up :)

She would go to the yard and her load would be gone off her tablet. This happened three times. She turned in her notice, took her belongs off the truck and called her brother to pick her up. ❤❤❤ keep moving forward. Best wishes,
Driver when you're done with your shift or tour and starting a 34 hour reset it's advised to log-out the unit via tablet so the DOT clock is not compromised.
Been doing amzn account with jb hunt closed to 2 years now and its really easy. We here have the pc available to use idk why your not allowed to use your at that terminal and the tablet issue you had with dem we dont have that here i always turn my tablet off at the end of my shift and they never told me anything about it.
Yes super easy I love it and yea our don’t have pc. Do you cut your tablet off and drive? I was turning it off and driving home cause I was off my shift. I didn’t know I couldn’t do that.
@TruckingWithKayla i only turn of my tablet whenever i take a 10hr break or go back home for 2 or 3 days off. If that truck is moving tablet needs to be logged in to your logging account or its an automatic violation to your log in book.

I did Amazon account at J.B. hunt and was making 22 hundred a week. Easiest account ever. You have Pc miles to drive home. Tell those dispatchers to add the PC. Also while you waiting at the yard if they don’t have empties you type empty in the system than select the first option. That’s your trailer number but you bobtail outta there. This way you’ll never have to wait for dispatch.
I already talk to dispatch he explaining how they just got rid of PC couple months because of driving hitting something when tablet off so there no PC.

It is inexperienced management that makes JBHunt a hassle to work for. Bad managers or out of touch managers. The company is good, it's the people who they have running the terminals

Soooo update comment: I got offered the Amazon account 6/1 schedule out of Columbus, but despite the money being good I’ve heard too many people complaining about this account so I’m not sure what to do
They didn’t have 6/4 schedule way better and more home time still with good pay but same same same…. I heard bad things but I love it. Management could be better but beside that I love it. That’s things I love about trucking you can give it a chance if you don’t like it LEAVE. Congratulations I hope you make the right choice❤️
I would say management is way better at knight. J.B. hunt better pay, better equipment, better time time and it’s easy account compare being Otr and sitting in docks all day doing live unloads.

Yea I ain’t gone lie to you it’s gone hard. You might have goto companies that’s not very good but if you stay with it and get your experience you can move up in trucking world. I would say western express and May trucking they are second chance company. Points and felony friendly.

Just fill out a application. They gave me call and ran down all the different account they offer and you pick one you move from there.
