Hey man I'm a Transportation Manager for hunt on the east coast. I really appreciate feedback like this please let me know what could make us do a better job. And as a fellow pipe smoker happy puffing.
The fellow pipe smoker is a friend indeed. I have now been doing flatbed for the past eight months. I am coming up on two years of total trucking experience. Send me an email so that we can net work in case I decide to hop on back over to the hunt. I now live in Cincinnati Ohio
Bro I really appreciate your input regarding JB. I’m currently a waiting list for South Gate Intermodal Night shift. Recent CDL A graduate so I Hope to make a he right decision. I do have a OTR opportunity at .60 cpm to TX and .50 cpm for a distribution company. Idk but I’d like to be home everyday but OTR money seems better and would do that for 3-6 mos. I know most want 3-6 mos experience. What would you do? Thanks
Honestly? Go to ABF. I have a pension and will retire at 56 yrs old. I’m 34 right now. I have weekends off, holidays paid for two days off, up to six weeks paid vacation, two personal days per year paid off, birthdays paid to be off, 5 sick days per year, and Health care will cost you in a year what others pay In a month. I’ll send you a link to my ABF content. My search for a carrier is over. I have a career now
Hey man I am with you dear I think that would be a great experience I’ve been driving often on for a long time I think you or what you say is true you got to be a defensive driver you got a watch everything that you’re doing all around you and like to talk to you about the experience
Great videos man, I’ve always wanted to get my CDL and drive a truck. I work for the railroad and the job is horrible but I make okay money so I can’t take a huge pay cut because I have a house and bills just like everyone else. Would it be unrealistic for me to be able to make 60k gross as a driver for JB if I were to hypothetically get my CDL and get hired there? I live in NJ as well, thanks for the info!
Bro .. what’s up. Seriously ur no longer with JBH? I ll be joining them in few weeks , doing Amazon intermodal in Compton .. $5k bonus n WE off. Any advice ? What’s the company ur working with now thnx boss ..
@@MrByTheMile wow that’s fantastic..bro. More power to u brother all the best I ll get my own truck in this year after learning the trade. My email is , ajdasa1962@gmail.com Cheers !
Your buddy Ramos is now at JB Hunt
@@joerubalcava11 then he took my advice. Good
I’ve been with JBI for close to 4 years, been doing this almost 20.... Indy local intermodal is the best gig I’ve had in two decades of trucking
What are you bringing home my man? After gross?
@@MrByTheMile grossed $88k last year, even in a low tax state I’m getting shafted lol
I’m a local driver and my run is in Philadelphia area. Been doing it for 25 years and it’s like riding a bike.
They started me at 99cent per mile recently, not sure if that’s good or not. It’s regional pretty much all of TX and New Mexico
Most of the high paying accounts are in the northeast from Chicago up . Been with jb 9 years on three different accounts always treated me well .
Glad it’s working well for you! I liked them but I left for flatbed to improve the resume’
I do have the say J.B. Hunt intermodal local In Southern California has made me a better backer. But there are some situations are like wtf lol!
See what I’m saying! You’re killing it Jaimie! I’m proud of you girl!

Yo I'm in that area thinking of joining how do you like it?
Grettings.. one question are you still with j b hunt
No
@@MrByTheMile oky.. thanks for your respond. One more question why you left if it was such a good company..
I was dedicated driver for Portland Oregon rails. Pay was horrible. I was happy to leave JB Hunt after 2 months
What was your average net?
How was JB intermodal regional pay after taxes etc?
Depends what state and city you live. Take home 800-1000
Pays horrible
I'm with jb hunt but I'm thinking about joining knight because of port and rail that will allow me home more
How’s Petco account? I’m about to go for physical and supposedly that’s what they’re putting me on??
The Amazon account pays the best. Ask them about that. Petco is alright but idk what overhead is like there
O ok overhead you mean pay wise right? I know they said delivery with electric pallet jack but is it to docks or store fronts?
@@freddyfreddy42 I’m sure it’s both
How come you don’t come over the road for a while with my company ? There’s weeks where I gross 2200-2600
Lol I wish did I guess the company name on other video?
