This Otter be a great one. Good choice on materials, NITRO-V is a good steel, very similar to 14C28N. I have a bunch of knives in either of these blade steels, all have performed very well. I like the design of this knife but I'm going to miss the drop as I've spent all my cash on a vacation that I just got back from. I'll be looking for one in a couple months. 😁. Glad you got the 940 out for size comparison as I own one. I have large hands so this was a good gage.
It's not hard to come up with a good design for a working knife, but one that works and is good looking is not that common. Great job on the design! I like this one!
I have the dart and I can not say enough about the design and especially Levi's craftsmanship and heat treating of the K390 blade. Besides being my everyday carry in an excellent FSG Ambi-Slip pocket sheath it has replaced the high end magna-cut parry knife that does not really hold an edge. The best steel in the world will disappoint if not heat treated properly. Levi is the best!

I actually freaking hate these videos of you batoning etc cause I'm always afraid that you're gonna slice open one of your thighs or something!! These friggin super steels are so damn sharp!! I'll gladly attempt to sharpen my 1095 GECs and stay away from this surgical shit, cause I really am such a fucking pussy, but it sure is fun watching you sharpen these metals, Erica!!! Did I see a large body of water behind you? Maybe, maybe not. Great looking knives, Erica. I went to the local Social Security office yesterday and as the guard was letting in the crowd of people he announced that food, drink and pocket knives were not allowed. I made a quick trip back to the car to secure my new Spyderco knife; I didn’t want to chance it gettin confiscated.
I've played with a nuge or 2 and they are not even close to worth the hype, they caught on that that "EDC" crowed jumped on, those fools open mail and boxes, they rarely put them to real life outdoor use so that dull edge all adds up.
