I have that same knife. Bought it new in 1973. Wore it on my side for years still do some. The case got old and dirty so I picked up a new one at a gun show. I let it rest accidentally so I had to clean it up. Wasn’t a great job. I know now how to match the finish on the blade so I’m going to try again. It’s a great camp and hunting knife and not bad for every day.
@@michaeliddings879 it sure is a great knife, I did miss it. It’s definitely a great carry. I shined this one up some and looks even better, I’m happy for you that you have your original. It’s hard to beat a good knife when you find one. Thanks for sharing your story, I enjoyed it.
I’ve got two of them that I’ve had since I was a kid. They both say Schrade USA 1250T on the blade. They both also have the hole in the end of the handle. I got mine out after watching your video. Dad gave me one when I was 13 (50 years ago)and sometime later he gave me the one he carried. I’ll pass them on to my son.
@@GoodGuysCarry that is a great story! Thank you for sharing. I wished I would have kept my original but this one brought everything back. I hope your son appreciates them. I have my Dads stockman.
okay one day two guys were over and i had an apple okay and i had them toss it to each other as i knelt between them and my knife 125ot at my side closed in mid air as they tossed the apple i opened the knife split the apple core through core centered and closed the knife before the apple hit the floor . years before i had a guy at a house and stood him against the wall told him i could throw a dagger an inch above his head. he ducked and ran so i gathered sticks and put around his feet . then the second time i let her fly. yes an inch above his head i stuck the dagger well he moved but yeah the sticks showed where he woulda standed
Sweet knives indeed!! You can watch a short I think may be a video on my channel of one of these knives I modified with new African water buffalo scales I put on it.
@@SteelCityKnives Ken was a great guy, he had a big felt picture frame and it was full of hat pins. All kinds of them. Doing good here, hope all is good in the motherland! Thank you
