Just caught your channel. Love your vids. As much as I love the immersion of ATS, your video is a perfect example of why I eventually turned off citations in the settings. About 1/4 of them were legitimate and deserved, but most were not, so now I just try to self-police. You handled it much better than me, though. I would be cursing pretty loudly -- at that one in the turn lane, especially. lol
Thanks for the kind words, and yeah, the fines can get a little crazy at times. I just got a headlight violation on a cloudless day at noon time. :)
Thanks for another fun ATS video. I have the traffic light violations turned off because like you, I was constantly getting fines. The winter mod is looking so good. 👌
In the next episode I turned off the winter physics and stopping got so much easier. :) I have ... other issues in that episode, but stopping was no longer a problem. :)
Pesky old traffic lights, almost as bad as English councils racking up the £'s with parking and speeding fines. Leaving the trailer behind could have been interesting, fortunately you spotted it.
Just need a blizzard now, keep the uploads coming as they are first class entertainment.

Gates are even less responsive than the ones in Days Gone hah. Rent Jana out as a doorstop, least you'll get something that way. Financial devastation mods in full swing. Aw it's lovely during the day! You're really good at parking these days :) Not so much stopping at lights but we all have our weaknesses.
Haha, yeah, red lights are optional apparently. Just have to make a small donation to the local police every time you go through them. That last $1400 one was a touch harsh I thought.

Always fun watching your episodes of ATS and ETS2. Just to touch on your question about real company mods and achievements, no, they shouldn't break if using a real company mod. The only achievement that I can see that references an in-game company specifically is the NAMIQ gold mine one in Colorado. I have had one of these real company mods from the Workshop installed for well over a year and continue to get achievements such as doing deliveries from 15 different companies and everything else with no issue, so I assume the same would be true for the NAMIQ gold mine achievement. Hope this helps!
Nice, thanks very much Joe and sorry for the slow reply. :) So I guess all you'd have to do is make sure that you match up the achievement fake company with the company it gets changed to in the game, right? Maybe there are more of these sorts of achievements in ETS2? I feel like there are a bunch in France in particular.
@@ZillaBlitz Yeah I would imagine so. As long as everything else lines up, I don't think the name of the company actually matters in the end. And I'm sure these same types of achievements would exist in ETS2, definitely.

If I was a copper I'd just follow you in an unmarked car and I'd meet any quota no worries 😂 Real company names mods don't mess with the achievements as all thats changed is the name on a graphic front and not an actual game data or whatever its called front. I use them on ATS and ETS

It's so hard in foggy conditions with the winter mods on isn't it - no wonder you were racking up those fines. I reckon after the 5th one though you were lucky they didn't haul your ass down to the station ha ha
Yeah, the 5th one was $1400, double the others, so maybe they were starting to get a bit ... angry with me? :)

Every once in a while the fog in the game can get insanely thick, can't it. I think there is one ETS2 episode where it was the thickest I've ever seen it.

Yeah, sometimes the 90s are super easy and the 40s are brutal. Most of the time it feels pretty close to accurate, but maybe 20% of the time it just feels off. *shrug*

If you do add real companies add realistic cornershop and real gas station revival mods
