@@JayLeonardJ So I wanted to send you a word of thanks. I used to play in bands back in Chicago when I was younger. I had this weird mix of playing the blues clubs there, while also playing in the hardcore punk scene in the late 80’s/90’s. Almost everything I did was originals. Then we moved away from Chicago, the day job got in the way, kids came along, and my guitar stuff went into the basement. A few years ago, after a close to 20 year gap in playing music, I found myself playing in a cover band for the first time, which has been a blast. My setup has always been just guitar - distortion pedal - amp, and now I needed to replicate sounds that I didn’t really have to do before. I ran across your UA-cam channel while researching a pedal world that I was completely unfamiliar with. After all, it had been 20 years, and it wasn't like I ever used many pedals before. But what I wanted to thank you for wasn’t the pedal knowledge, although you do a fantastic job with that. I wanted to thank you for the infectious joy you bring to your playing, because that was a factor in giving me the confidence to pick up my guitar again after so long. I’m in my mid-50’s now, and more than just having fun with my guitar again, I can feel that playing music is using parts of my brain that I haven’t used in a long time, and that just feels so good. Thanks again!
The Van Halen part at 13:00 is great. Man my dream video of yours is just you pkaying random things and having fun for one hour straight. You're so good!
Amazing Video! Jam Pedals is going to move a lot of inventory based on this one Jay ;) I have the Rattler and Monk and you just sold me on the Delay and Double Dreamer!!! One last thing: There is no reason you should be sitting at less than 50k subs....keep pushing brother!!!
Excellent playing as always, very inspiring and makes me go play my guitar after. You’re an asset to the community and I appreciate what you do. Thanks for all the great content. ✌🏻
You’re still one of my favourite, if not *the* favourite, reviewers of guitar gear. I’ve got a Jam Pedals custom board with a few of pedals you’ve demo’d. My first foray into Jam Pedals.
@@JayLeonardJ bought it pre made from original owner: Retro Vibe, Tubedreamer, Rattler, Boomster, RipplyFall and Delay Llama Xtreme. Plus a TU-3. I’m a Strymon small box and Digitech (Freqout, Drop, Ricochet) digital fan boy but love my analog goodness too 😊❤️! Only pedal I kinda wished it had was one of JP’s fuzz circuits but with the FX loop I can always insert one. Should be here next week. Keep up the good work you do!
A very difficult conundrum; Got to start with the Fuzz Phrase, Rattler, Retrovibe, Harmonious Monk and then throw in a Pink Flow..... Go the whole hog and ask Jannis for a multi the same as mine.
@@JayLeonardJ I hope someday you could. Builders here are starting to be recognized locally and hopefully, internationally. :) Will send the all-Filipino board I made on your IG soon. :)
Great video, thanks. Suggestion for the custom pedalboard: Start with Lucydreamer, Eureka, Boomster (if they still make it). The Boomster is probably my all-time favourite pedal.
I have there eureka fuzz qnd love it sold it ounce bought it back it works great through solid state amps as too some vintage fuzzes like fuzz faces made like the days of old tend to not sound great and need to see tubes so they made a great fuzz face pedal the eureka fuzz
My board is the opposite of this concept - zero brand loyalty means three boards with only a couple brands duplicated. Only the best of what’s around - which is why I have a Rattler in heavy use!!
I can already tell This is gonna be a great series!
Thanks! These are fun ones!
Got my first JAM Pedal "Harmonious Monk" and i'm in love
Fuzz with slap back sounds fantastic
My multi pedal should be ready soon and I can’t wait!!!!
I just got my Multi in. If mine is any indication, prepare to be blown away!
Always inspirational playing! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Thanks!
Okay -- how did you know I've been spending the day staring at the Jam Pedals website?
Great demo!
Crazy how things always seems to work out that way 😅

1hr of straight noodling?... Count me in!!
Great video as always. I have the harmonious monk and I am going to get the mk3 delay llama after watching this video.
Awesome! Both are great boxes!

Really appreciate it! Looks like your JAM collection is growing: hope you dig those new boxes!!

I really appreciate it! If I can inspire people to play guitar, my mission is accomplished :)

I really appreciate it! I have a custom board coming soon, I wonder how many of the same pedals we pick for ours!

I did this with my all EHX board, all Filipino board (all local makers of pedals) and all BOSS board. :)
Super awesome: I don't think I have ever even played a Filipino pedal before!!

My whole board is Jam! Except the tuner and noise gate 😂
Great choices! They really do a great job at JAM
Phenomenal 👏
Excellent video.

All three of those were on my list :)
On my budget, I would love to see an all EHX pedalboard!!!
That sounds like a great idea!
@@JayLeonardJ my board will definitely have a Tone Corset comp and a Lizard Queen fuzz!!
My Greek brothas yeah!
Those tabla on the table tho... 👀
How do you get the hum from single coils to not bleed In through the audio ?
I know what to listen while driving in my car.
I have there eureka fuzz qnd love it sold it ounce bought it back it works great through solid state amps as too some vintage fuzzes like fuzz faces made like the days of old tend to not sound great and need to see tubes so they made a great fuzz face pedal the eureka fuzz
Eureka is my favorite JAM fuzz! Great box :)
So weird how this showed up on my feed I literally was thinking about a all jhs board 2 minutes before I opened UA-cam lol wtf
My board is the opposite of this concept - zero brand loyalty means three boards with only a couple brands duplicated. Only the best of what’s around - which is why I have a Rattler in heavy use!!
Yeah, so many amazing options out there nowadays :) PS - you are right, the Rattler is a beast!
3:05 actually Harmonic Tremolo is from Fender Brownface amps, just a small little confusion, no worries :) sounds fantastic
Do earthquaker or JHS next
Both great brands!
Both have no wah.
Wah,..wah,..wah,...
Dude… I hate wahs. But you just gave me hard GAS for one! XD
Always happy to get another new convert! They are one of my go-to effects :)
Why the univibe first
I like how it blends into the drives when put before :)
What is your guitar bro?
It's a Fender Telecaster with a set of my J-MOD Signature pickups from Tone Specific.
@@JayLeonardJ you play awesome 👍
Easy. But they don’t make a reverb for some strange reason.
Thanks!
They remain analog
Walrus audio
No Ripply Fall? THIS IS BULL CHONK
That is definitely a killer versatile box.
