No kidding, they provided fantastic video of the process! Thanks for sharing this with all of us, and congrats on such a killer board!
Your Welcome! Really amazing to see how this was all put together :)
Awesome work and board. I love guys & girls from Jam pedals. Visited them once at Athens and it was very nice time there :)
So cool Jay... I love my JAMS Pedals... I'll actually be in Greece this October... must look them up while I'm there! 😎🤘🎸
Wow! Enjoy your trip to Greece!
Sooooo cool! Congrats to you and a big hoorah to Jam! What an amazing product.
Thanks so much!!
Wow. Incredible design. I've had my eyes on one of these for a long time.
Do you remember what video you talked about your Focusrite ISA One? I remember enjoying your review and just picked one up, but can't find it.
Looking fwd to Saturday's vid...Im assuming it is a mono board (Do JAM make stereo effects)?
I want to get my hands on an enclosure like that... just a blank, unpainted, undrilled enclosure!
Surely someone can build such a thing for you? 😳
emotional
What a beast!🤯
Honestly $2900 for all that is insanely good value
Wait….delay 2 and 3 are parallel dotted eight and quarter note with shared tap tempo??? I would love that feature on a dual delay….Delay Llama extreme mk ii? Grease the palms my friend :)
I've been bugging JAM to make a parallel stereo delay ever since this board came up... Hopefully, one day that dream may become a reality :)
How works power supply in this board? Daisy chain?
I'm not quite sure, but I can assert this board is dead quiet and clean. In fact, that was the #1 priority when finding the right reverb for it :)
That's really not a bad price for what you get. Considering the price of new pedals.
Yeah, It is actually surprisingly reasonable (especially considering how much some of these pedals cost on their own)!
So the entire board is powered by a single, "daisy-chained" adapter? Is it noisy?
Not at all! In fact, most of the R&D for my build was finding a Reverb that did not add any noise to the already silent board.
What kind of reverb is on there?
A Mad Professor Silver Spring
What reverb is in it?
Mad Professor Silver Spring
Off course it seems like a lot of money, but if you take into consideration the fact that this is a hand built one-off board packed with pedals that aren’t cheap (and they shouldn’t be, given the great quality of their products), with so many people working on it, even doing crazy stuff like changing some functions of certain pedals and allowing the customer to use pedals of other brands (Mad Professor Silver Spring and the tuner)…., it even comes in a beautiful wooden box…, than this is ridiculously cheap!
If you have 3k guitar and a 3k amp, then surely a 2 to 3k high quality pedalboard with literally everything on it that you need…, it’s almost a no brainer.
“Almost”, because I change pedals more often than I do my underwear (not really, but hey…). Anyway, that would be my biggest concern. Having said that, with one or more effects loops - just to be sure - and keeping the board relatively small to a degree where you will only choose the pedals you know you’ll be happy with for years to come, I think this is just a fantastic idea.
Question for Jay: are the guys and girls at Jam Pedals okay with the customer’s wish to have them build a board with 8 pedals when only 3 of them are actually Jam Pedals. You see, I want to keep my Lightspeed and my old RC Booster as well as my Fairfield Circuitry Shallow Water and my Strymon Cloudburst. Do you think they would do such a thing? 🤔
You really got me very enthusiastic. 😬
I'm sure they would be up to exploring something. Or you can create a multipedal for the 3 JAM pedals with multiple outs to connect your other pedals to! Good luck and thanks for writing!
What is the main amp you’re going to use with this awesome board?
I usually use a Bad Cat Hot Cat or Black Cat. I really enjoy it through Blackface Fender Amps as well :)
@@JayLeonardJ Roger all, going to try and get as close as I can to your signal chain with my Quad Cortex
Hi! Ultim piece of gear. Could you tell me about the weight? Have a good sunday!
It is a super lightweight enclosure, it is amazingly light for it's size. Even the wah doesn't weigh as much as the standard wah.
