He took it with very few questions or not correct questions asked nor did he seek help with the transaction. No wonder Christ threw out the moneychangers from the temple. When he returns, he is going to have to do it once again.
The finances were put into very well order. And the roof was not leaking when they took over. He can't even give an account for the one million dollars left waiting in the bank given to his church raised before his time by the people who have gone there long before him.

Why Christians (or should I say "churchgoers) prefer to concentrate on the dark side instead of finding the good and praying for a fallen leader is totally amazing to me. Speak the TRUTH - YES! Every church i know always raise money for repairs , concerning the church even when the church is already paid for. They will take a offering for new locks to fixing the driveway. That is the way it is !

He was expected to pay $26,000 per month and he has not paid... $312,000!!! He was left with a cash surplus of $1,500,000!!! But he was begging the members to pay $250,000 for a new roof!!! And the church set him up with a home worth $1,700,000!!! He was not paying staff and had one lead out by the cops Monday. He brought in Tasha Cobbs and her husband and the minister of music had to take a pay cut!!! I suggest more investigation be done on this guy!!!
It looks like John Gray was not given the whole picture. There were clearly financial issues and Ron Carpenter transferred those issues to him without giving him all the information he needed to make an informed decision.

But God, did not count me out , He covered my life, from me destroying myself and raised me up into a spiritual, mental and physical respectable, honorable, righteous man of God and i love Him,Jesus. Why didn't the carpenters continue to pay the taxes as they had before since they are still the owners of the buildings? I speak as a lamdlord. I collect rent from the occupants but I am responsible for the taxes until i actually sell the property. Something is not passing the smell test. Did something happen with the carpenters in the California church that they want to come back to Greenville? Humm!!!!!!!
The truth is this Pastor John trusted a word and a hand shake, Pastor Ron knew he had no legal right to transfer a property he had a mortgage on, which he did not own it outright , so he couldn't transfer the property in totality. He leased the property so that Pastor John could pay the bills which allowed him to move to CA and attempt to start a new ministry in that location. Pastor John was a novice in Realestate and was not informed that a lease'e has no power to negotiate any payments or or restructure the loan payments. From the onset Pastor John should have known that rarely a outside Pastor would rendered a fully paid Church and property to non son. The value of the presently own property has to be in the millions? Secondly this is the issue for me and who am I nobody but why would The Carpenters place such a heavy burden on Relentless to pay 26k a month for retirement this is over taxing the people of God, my math is not of such I would be deemed a mathematician but 26k a month is 312. thousand dollars a year. Wow final statement we do things without consulting God and then co-sign his name to give it authenticity and he never gave his consent towards these endeavors.

First of all this situation should have been handled privately. If and only if they could not handled it privately , should it have been taken to the public. The issue is that there was NO CONTRACT, NO VISUAL inspection of property before accepting a key. Wisdom is the principal thing. You cannot accept keys without a lawyer a contract and most of all an understanding

This is a sad situation but what I want to know is was the grays aware of the financial situation that was left before they took the keys 🔑? If they are paying rent to the owners it’s the owners responsibility to keep up with the taxes and repairs of their own buildings. That to me was a shady deal from the start... I think they should of hired a good business advisor and accountant with a board to stay on top of these issues instead of overseeing the issues that built up to the fallout. It seems that the church as a whole is much more interested in knocking down pastors and celebrating a Christian leader's failure. It seems they WANT leaders to suffer for wrongdoings. God will handle John Gray in any way that He has to. John has made some bad judgments, but he has also helped a lot of people to Christ. Why Christians (or should I say "churchgoers) prefer to concentrate on the dark side instead of finding the good and praying for a fallen leader is totally amazing to me. Speak the TRUTH - YES! But God, did not count me out , He covered my life, from me destroying myself and raised me up into a spiritual, mental and physical respectable, honorable, righteous man of God and i love Him,Jesus.

Why didn't the carpenters continue to pay the taxes as they had before since they are still the owners of the buildings? I speak as a lamdlord. I collect rent from the occupants but I am responsible for the taxes until i actually sell the property. Something is not passing the smell test. Did something happen with the carpenters in the California church that they want to come back to Greenville? Humm!!!!!!!
The truth is this Pastor John trusted a word and a hand shake, Pastor Ron knew he had no legal right to transfer a property he had a mortgage on, which he did not own it outright , so he couldn't transfer the property in totality. He leased the property so that Pastor John could pay the bills which allowed him to move to CA and attempt to start a new ministry in that location. Pastor John was a novice in Realestate and was not informed that a lease'e has no power to negotiate any payments or or restructure the loan payments. From the onset Pastor John should have known that rarely a outside Pastor would rendered a fully paid Church and property to non son. The value of the presently own property has to be in the millions? Secondly this is the issue for me and who am I nobody but why would The Carpenters place such a heavy burden on Relentless to pay 26k a month for retirement this is over taxing the people of God, my math is not of such I would be deemed a mathematician but 26k a month is 312. thousand dollars a year. Wow final statement we do things without consulting God and then co-sign his name to give it authenticity and he never gave his consent towards these endeavors.

First of all this situation should have been handled privately. If and only if they could not handled it privately , should it have been taken to the public. The issue is that there was NO CONTRACT, NO VISUAL inspection of property before accepting a key.

This is a sad situation but what I want to know is was the grays aware of the financial situation that was left before they took the keys 🔑? If they are paying rent to the owners it’s the owners responsibility to keep up with the taxes and repairs of their own buildings. That to me was a shady deal from the start... I think they should of hired a good business advisor and accountant with a board to stay on top of these issues instead of overseeing the issues that built up to the fallout. Both sides are negligent and if I was the grays either but them out or sue them for paid rent that they already paid to the carpenters and purchase their own building that’s just my thoughts
They left the Grays a million dollar in the church bank account. To take care of Bill's and whatever else they needed. He bought lavish stuff instead

The financial agreement should have been in place long before keys were handed over. Like closing on a purchased home, they give you all of that before they hand you those keys.
