Sometimes you don’t have to preach, sometimes you just need to be you. See you are being prosecuted because you and your wife are not being humble, stop talking about your brokenness. So many people are going through some kind of pain and brokenness, but you speak of yours as if you are the Christ carrying the cross... you did something wrong and that should be your story that is all.

As a Christian, I listened to 10 minutes of this and that's enough. This couple tries to justify everything from a position of victimhood: "I'm going through stuff that I never came to terms with, so that's why I did what I did." Listen, no one thinks any pastor is perfect, but you must have a good report to unbelievers outside of the church (1 Timothy 3:7). When you read the qualifications/duties of a pastor/elder/bishop in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:6-9, Ephesians 4:11-16, and 1 Peter 5:1-3, you will find this man lacking. They're not humble (and when they act "humble" it's a front to make an excuse), they lack patience, they have pride, they love money/wealth, etc. All the things the verses I cited tell us a leader needs not to be. As for the situation with the young lady, even if he didn't sleep with her (which no one truly knows), the fact that it looked bad to the outside world and the church violates 1 Thessalonians 5:22. If this man that is supposed to be shepherding a flock of God's people doesn't have discernment about being with a young lady to vent about his past, then it says much about his marriage relationship and his shepherding abilities. Not to mention all his messages still revolve around prosperity; this is the reason the radio host questioned why people have to go through stuff if God wants the best for them. God isn't a genie in a bottle that gives us things we covet after. Covetousness is idolatry (Colossians 3:5) and a covetous man is an idolater (Ephesians 5:5). There is no sense of holiness to this "pastor" and his wife (1 Peter 1:13-16), just worldliness that God warns against seriously in James 4:4 and 1 John 2:15-17 (both verses say that this means you're an enemy of God and you don't love God the Father). I am sick to my stomach about these money-hungry, carnal, scripture-twisting, fake pastors and wives fleecing the flock with pseudo-Christian language to line their own pockets and live above their flock. If you're a true believer of Christ, get out of these churches asap because they misrepresent Christ to those in their "church" and to the very unbelievers that need to be saved by Christ's death and resurrection.

If you are that broken and haven’t healed yet step down for awhile and focus on God healing you and your family. Infidelity is one of the hardest marital issues to heal for any woman that is painful I’ve been through it. Even being strong in my faith I forgave my husband but still opted to divorce him. That was my journey I just get the feeling and I could be wrong that she has become a business woman during this nightmare and her marriage has now become just another apart of the business so it makes sense to preserve it and keep up appearances. What I don’t understand about him is why are you trying to lead a whole congregation when you have such deep rooted issues? I understand we all have issues but scripture says pastors are held to a higher standard that’s why they are ordained to preach. If you are dealing with manhood issues how can you lead? I believe that God puts us through the storm so that we remember where we came from. The storm is a reminder to us to let us know that we are not of ourselves. I don't know really about scandals that are connected to them, because I'm not a person that follows gossip, or waits on people to falter or fall. The part that l don't understand is why are the Pastors Greys going on a PR tour. We the people are not married to him, his wife is. He doesn't owe the world an explanation except for his wife and God. God who knows and sees it all. If they are lying or telling the truth we shall all see on judgement day.

Each time he comes on a show to tell his side, the others come harder with their receipts because, he is calling them a liar. So they also have to prove to their fans that what they are reporting is the truth. And what we have heard from the other side is extremely damaging and embarrassing! I think John just need to stop trying to explain the situation, because most people do not believe his story anyway, and live his life from now on as the model example that God has called him to live. That is all that he can do. Those who do not trust his word are not going to change their minds just because he come on a show to tell his side. As a Christian, I listened to 10 minutes of this and that's enough. This couple tries to justify everything from a position of victimhood: "I'm going through stuff that I never came to terms with, so that's why I did what I did." Listen, no one thinks any pastor is perfect, but you must have a good report to unbelievers outside of the church (1 Timothy 3:7). When you read the qualifications/duties of a pastor/elder/bishop in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:6-9, Ephesians 4:11-16, and 1 Peter 5:1-3, you will find this man lacking. They're not humble (and when they act "humble" it's a front to make an excuse), they lack patience, they have pride, they love money/wealth, etc. All the things the verses I cited tell us a leader needs not to be.
As for the situation with the young lady, even if he didn't sleep with her (which no one truly knows), the fact that it looked bad to the outside world and the church violates 1 Thessalonians 5:22. If this man that is supposed to be shepherding a flock of God's people doesn't have discernment about being with a young lady to vent about his past, then it says much about his marriage relationship and his shepherding abilities. Not to mention all his messages still revolve around prosperity; this is the reason the radio host questioned why people have to go through stuff if God wants the best for them. God isn't a genie in a bottle that gives us things we covet after. Covetousness is idolatry (Colossians 3:5) and a covetous man is an idolater (Ephesians 5:5). There is no sense of holiness to this "pastor" and his wife (1 Peter 1:13-16), just worldliness that God warns against seriously in James 4:4 and 1 John 2:15-17 (both verses say that this means you're an enemy of God and you don't love God the Father).
I am sick to my stomach about these money-hungry, carnal, scripture-twisting, fake pastors and wives fleecing the flock with pseudo-Christian language to line their own pockets and live above their flock. If you're a true believer of Christ, get out of these churches asap because they misrepresent Christ to those in their "church" and to the very unbelievers that need to be saved by Christ's death and resurrection.

If you are that broken and haven’t healed yet step down for awhile and focus on God healing you and your family. Infidelity is one of the hardest marital issues to heal for any woman that is painful I’ve been through it. Even being strong in my faith I forgave my husband but still opted to divorce him. That was my journey I just get the feeling and I could be wrong that she has become a business woman during this nightmare and her marriage has now become just another apart of the business so it makes sense to preserve it and keep up appearances. What I don’t understand about him is why are you trying to lead a whole congregation when you have such deep rooted issues? I understand we all have issues but scripture says pastors are held to a higher standard that’s why they are ordained to preach. If you are dealing with manhood issues how can you lead? If you can’t lead your own family and your wife is leading and covering you where is the submission whose leading who. Based on that type of confusion I couldn’t be a member of their church. It’s too messy. Again we all have issues so I’m not judging them and applaud them for working on their marriage but wow. Taking on leadership with all of those issues?

Each time he comes on a show to tell his side, the others come harder with their receipts because, he is calling them a liar. So they also have to prove to their fans that what they are reporting is the truth. And what we have heard from the other side is extremely damaging and embarrassing! I think John just need to stop trying to explain the situation, because most people do not believe his story anyway, and live his life from now on as the model example that God has called him to live.
