Hello there, i own a Nami Burn e2 - 72v 28Ah battery :D not sure wich brand .. but i get around 80km of range with mixed driving around :D 71kg rider :D
A Nami owner posted on the Nami Facebook Group that his chinese battery-pack was in a black plastic box and his replacement Panasonic battery-pack is in a black metal box.
I haven’t checked my battery but I’m 110kilo and I did a 72km ride with 31% battery left. 85% of the ride was in eco doing between 28-45kph the other 15% was doing around 60kph. When I was doing the slower speed I was on gravel tracks.
Here is my not professional opinion: your range will depend most on your riding style, ambient temperature and wind and not least weight and size and clothes (for wind resistance). The "Chinese" cells will propably give you 15% less then what you would get out of the brand cells. That means Panasonic 80km would be like 70km for you. As your battery is light it seems to be Chinese. Mine is 11.9kg and probably Samsung or Panasonic. I would try to get it replaced but at the same time just use your original scooter as it may take a long time for the replacement to arrive based on current logistics and supply situation. I can't tell you my range as I never rode it to zero and my weight and riding style may be a lot different.
I got Panasonic battery. I usually get 100km range on mix E and D and very careful driving. And 85km range if I mixed mode S. Those were from 90% to 15% battery. Because I try not to damage the batteries.
@@carbonio4190 have you claimed to the store where you bought it from? Or directly to Michael Sha? (my battery is the same like yours, black and no Panasonic label, and I get por range from 100% to 30%, only 40 kms.....)
Did it say in the description at the online store where you bought it that your Nami would have LG/Panasonic/Samsung cells? This is a year old video and Nami has since come out with a new version of the Burn-E. I have the 2 max which is listed as having name brand cells. They also list the riding conditions to get the listed range. There's a much cheaper version of the Burn-E 2 that uses generic cells. These are things some people miss when looking over a purchase.
And for everyone that thinks about battery % on display - please - there may be a bit of error in all measurements and chances are your scooter charges to full but shows a bit more or less (in case of Nami some don't show 100% and in Case of other Scooters the percentage stays 100% for the first 10km, both is wrong).
I just taken my battery out and it weights approx 11.4kg black wrapping same as yours, I am devastated 😢, all that money on cheap Chinese junk 😢. I'll ring the shop tomorrow and let you know what they say. This scam needs bringing to light, shame on NAMI 👎
@@carbonio4190 I'm not sure yet I have Ride it once and just nipping about, but it's not good, not what I was expecting for this price at all, it stops charging at99% then slowly creeps down whilst just sat still then may be 1or2 miles it's down to under 90%. And the steering is so stiff and notching it's so dangerous in D mode I can't go fast at all
Its weird, i have 60v system (laotie ti30) and i get more range. definitely something is wrong, never let her go under 15 por cent man, battery gets damaged.

How is one to know what they have for a battery? Color, size markings other than the obvious, what are you looking for?
@@erickspears1889 if the battery says " imp" it means imported aka not cheap garbage. They will be: Panasonic, LG, or Samsung.
