This is pretty late, but lol what a waste of money. Just use hekate or the USB file transfer homebrew.
Also, moving the microsd in and out too much will break the reader. The reader is poorly made.

having a issue one i did not have a folder with switch so i made one but i am not getting anything happening when i try to hold R down and open a game the game just starts to play?
I am following these steps and I copied the moonlight file into the folder named 'nintendo' on the SD card and there was not one named switch. put it back into the switch and turned off and on again, (not sure what you meant by reboot in customer firmware atmosphere mode). Holding R button over game is not opening any moonlight app, it just doesn't do anything. Please could you help me with where I am going wrong? Thanks :)

Quick question about latency: On my Android devices it varies between 7ms upto 20 depending on video decode rather than network latency
Is there a way to test what the video decode latency is on the switch?
Yes, there is a toggle to turn on statistics

i always get crash upon quiting streaming or app. Do you happen to know how to fix the issue ? im on 14.1.2
Unfortunately, there is no fix, it's just the way it is. P.S. it's ok if it crashes on close. The important thing is the app opens and streaming works.
So why are we port forwarding? If it works without me doing this step, should I still go back and do it?

Hmm. Are you on the same wifi? Perhaps it's a 2.4ghz 5ghz difference?

every router is different. I don't know what the login page is for your's. run cmd and then ipconfig/all to see the default gateway. that's usually the router's login url

You'll need to get a headless hdmi or display port so the PC is still detecting an output. Got mine on Amazon for about 5$

This don´t work. All the time shows me "Error, Timeout was reached"
Go to Geforce Experience ---> "Settings" ---> "Shield", and turn "GAMESTREAM" in the window above ur games on, worked for me after turning it)

@@gutar5675 no, i didn't find any solution for that error. I ended up using SkyNX program and worked fine for streaming.
@@gutar5675 I managed, but YT partially hide the reply, so u should see it only if u sort comments as "Newest first". But I still quit trying to connect it after another error(

Have an odd issue I think. When I stream using handheld, I don't seem to have any issues. As soon as I dock though, I get double inputs from my controller. Not sure if it's an issue because I'm adding an extra wireless element with the Pro controller, but it also seems to happen when I use my Steam Link Hardware running moonlight--so maybe a strange moonlight issue...

Think it has to do with the controller Bluetooth connections which is probably why it doesn't work. Just like he said in the video cannot use a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard it has to be wired.
May I ask, why'd you want to use it in docked mode if you already can do it with your PC? 😐

@@devilmaycry57 Don't get this. You can simply hack your pc to connect your Switch pro controllers even your JOYCONS can be detected/conneted to your PC if your pc has a bluetooth. Hook your PC with an HDMI. Buy some bluetooth dongle if your PC doesn't have a built in andddd ~ Voila? You're not hooked to PC any more?
If you're saying you wanted to like go downstairs and play with your bigger screen rather in your room. There should be some tutorials on how to connect your PC to your TV Wirelessly if it's a smart TV. Other than that, I really do not get why you wanted to stream to switch then hook it up to a dock. Really doesn't make sense to me,

Bro can you help me..I always have a "reduce bitrate" error when im using moonlight on my android..before i can play pc games in local network in 720p 30fps(gtx1050ti laptop) but after i upgrade my laptop..i can play it anymore😢

So until minute 7:28 I still came along, but that was it. When I hold R, nothing happens. I can only open the app with A and select the user then the game starts as always.
What happens when you open the album? Do you get the applet menu?

Then you're not running cfw. You need to setup Atmosphere first.

I don't have a folder called "switch" I only have one folder on the SD card called "Nintendo". Also can you only open the hbmenu with a Jailbroken switch? I can't open the menu by holding "R" and selecting a game.

Sounds like it can't find the PC on your network. Also unfortunately Nvidia removed shield game streaming in the February update so you need to use an older version of Nvidia drivers and GeForce experience now
Moonlight wont work anymore because nvidia will remove gamestream from their drivers in a few months for no reason but to push people to buy geforce now.
Yeah I'm reading the news, fortunately there is sunshine to replace Nvidia shield streaming.

hey every time i run moonlight everything is smooth until I try to launch a game I click on the game I want it loads up fully on my computer then it crashes and then the moonlight wont connect. So then I tried using steam link and it worked but obviously it wasn't as smooth as moonlight is supposed to be any tips?
im running a dual boot on my switch and also tried on android and had the same issue. Im connecting locally and my graphics card is a 3050
Same for me..before i can play 720p 30fps smooth in any game..my Laptop have Gtx1050ti.. Now i upgrade but i cant play anymore..always reduce bitrate error and im only try to play locally🥲

Means you have to be on a switch's custom ROM (ur operating system but custom or modified) to run the homebrewed apps
Well, you don't need NVidia GPU, I use Sunshine and it works 😄, you need to see other tutorials about sunshine, if they don't have NVidia GPU, I hope this comment it helps. #Peace Bro and have a Good Day
