No. Just allow these powerful hardware on the earth they use to their full potential and they can game with a piece of cake. This easier if they make it easier on developers to design their games for arm. I think the next couple years will be easier on arm since windows now trying to compete
I would be sooo happy Matt!, I'm a very big gamer and maybe if apple does release a console with the fact that I'm an apple user would be really breathtaking
@@thingsmymacdoes very good point, though, apple wants to get into gaming, it doesn’t mean they’re smart about it. Also, 1, apple can make people sign non-disclosure documents, as well as 2, likely if this is true they haven’t told any game company’s yet, maybe other than Ubisoft, because they’re stupid.
@@reesejohnson58 Apple didnt become a trillion dollar company by being stupid. And 'not telling' game dev studios would mean launching a console with no games to play. That would also fall in the stupid category.
Maybe this could just be a higher end version of AppleTV instead of a different product? That would be easy to manufacture on same line. There are already 2 versions of AppleTV with and without ethernet port, gaming would just need more cooling & storage & controller
I remember the Pippin from my time at The MultiMedia Corporation. I attended a meeting at Apple where I told them that it wouldn't work in Europe - they wanted to use 640 x 480, but in Europe our TV's were a different numbers of lines (768 x 576), and their solution was to double every fifth line! That would take the 480 and make it 576. It would have looked awful. It was basically a low-end Mac with a build-in CD-ROM drive, modem and TV modulator, plus a hand-held controller. It didn't last long, and we never made a CD-ROM for it - we did however make a CD-ROM for the similar concept Commodore CDTV - A Bun for Barney.
I just bought the AirPods Pro 2, love the adaptive noise cancellation. It is nice when someone starts talking to me the conversation goes up and the content goes down. I also want to upgrade to a new MacBook.
Still looking to get an iPhone 15 or 16. VERY interested to see if Apple can pull off some improved gaming experience, particularly if they could utilize the M chip's power.
Rip dreamcast, that is a criminally underrated game console, but I would love to see legit gaming brought to Mac. Also waiting for the iPhone 16 to come out to get that this year.
As an architect, I would like to see a beefy implementation of ray tracing instructions in the M4. That would be really great for improving the speed of architectural 3d renderings on Apple Silicon Macs.
I would also like to try the Apple Vision Pro this year. I think is technology that is being release before it’s time. I haven’t heard much about its usefulness.
I am looking forward to new set of HomePods and the iPad Pro. The HomePods will make a great surround sound speakers, and I can consume most of my media through the iPad.
Im really looking forward to getting a nice desktop gaming pc by the end of 2024 alongside with a new ipad since mine is on it’s last legs and some other things like better headphones and possibly a mac laptop to.
It would be nice to see a new AirPods Max this year. Have been on the fence to get it, but the current version is so old. Thanks for the channel and the giveaways!
The Apple gaming console rumor has been around since 2020. Some AAA gaming titles are at least 40 GB in size. If Apple did make a gaming console, they would be foolish not to allow external storage to be attached. They would also need some sort of fan in the chassis to prevent the gaming console from overheating and subsequently throttling
I’d give it a run. I just hope that they don’t run into the same issues that Google Stadia had. Streaming 4k style games with issues and not utilizing the raw power of the Apple chipset. Hopefully they will have the adequate memory on hand to support whatever games they plan on supporting.
It has to happen. I stopped with the Microsoft Xbox 360 and switched back over to the PlayStation 4 now 5, but now the entire reason I have a console is because I don’t have the room for a desktop system or the money to keep upgrading it to play the newest games. If Apple can come up with a system to run Stream games on it, that would be so cool.
Games with HomePod, now that would be something. I’ve played Marble it up on Apple TV through the HomePod speaker, and I really enjoyed it, then the speaker wouldn’t work for some reason and the game just seemed meh, so yeah as long as it has HomePod support I could be interested. Hoping to get a new Apple Watch this year.
I would like to see more from Apple in the AR wearables. That would be a very big game-changer. I see so much potential in that tech moving forward. I am just thinking about the types of games that could be developed in AR. Then the thought of how all devices could also have AR uses, such as movement tracking with the watch or phone or maybe a controller or ring. Thinking of a gaming console, AR could really bring your gaming console experience alive and even more interactive. I really hope Apple takes advantage of these possibilities in the future.
Amazing! I’m hoping to upgrade to the iPhone 16 pro max from my 13 pro max. I just bought an iPad mini and I’m enjoying it but it lacks processing for some of my tasks and now with Apple intelligence it be awesome to take advantage of that on the iPad
If Apple does make a gaming console/TV system, I would love for it to include mobile support for the IPhone 15 Pro through cloud services. I would also love for it to include music features, such as in game optional music choices as ITunes have been revolutionary as a music platform.
I am hoping to get a redesigned circular apple watch series 10 since apple changes the design of their products that hit the 10th year marks. iPhone X, iPad 10 and so on. Thanks for making these videos Matt you're doing a great job!
I love how in the examples of the cartoon showing lower and higher resolution, there’s absolutely no difference on either side of the separator as it moves back and forth 😂
A game counsel would be freaking awesome. Also a budget friendly AirPod max would be an awesome thing to come out with for the people that can’t afford them. Maybe call them AirPod max se???
I think the existing AppleTV is pretty close to a good console already. Wouldn’t take much for a new version to be capable of full AAA goodness. I am eagerly awaiting the next AppleTV and will upgrade as soon as it’s announced, I love my older current model.
The best thing Apple has in its arsenal is being able operate IOS on it and use your IPhone, iPad, Mac, Watch to all work together. Apple could actually send work data straight from work to your Mac at home and with good security it’s already encrypted. This could be the first good all in one machine that actually does what it’s supposed to do.
It’s always interesting to speculate about what apple can do in the video game market. They could do a lot since they have full control over their hardware and software.
I have an iPad and an iPhone, both a little long in the tooth, but I am waiting to see if the Apple TV 4K is getting an upgrade this year before I buy one. A TV 4K/Gaming console would be very cool. Love this channel. Keep 'em coming.
with apple arcade, I would love to see the apple TV form factor console. whatever processor it has, I'd like to see it actively cooled (heatsink + fan). based on what I've been able to find from varoius online sources it seems wreckfest is the current crysis of the apple apple TV boxes and appears to run for 4 hours before overheating/thermal throttling on the latest apple tv. I think active cooling will help the console/tv box in a big way!
Would love to see an apple gaming console fr… might need that iPad tho but yeah… apple gaming would be a great concept also considering what they could do now that there’s the Apple Vision Pro and how much time they must have had to cook things up already… kinda hyped but I don’t want to be too hyped yeah…
I would be down for an apple console, but I am a pretty diehard Nintendo fan too.....but more devices lends itself to more competition. Only better for use consumers.
Im hoping to get some headphones that will help with my ipad. The ones that are out there seem to fall off the ears if you touch them. maybe like a clip ones that will hold on to the ear.
I’m hoping to get an AirPod, either a Pro2 or Max…or if Apple release an updated Pro. Also if that gaming console comes to reality, it’ll be something else. Here’s to hoping!
Hey Matt, your Apple content is fantastic! How about featuring some engaging software and free software weekly reviews or showcases specifically for macOS our ios? It could really captivate your audience and offer fresh insights. Excited to see what you’ll create next!
Would you LOVE to see a Games Console come from Apple?
@DJGAMER_IS_HIM Same here!
No. Just allow these powerful hardware on the earth they use to their full potential and they can game with a piece of cake. This easier if they make it easier on developers to design their games for arm. I think the next couple years will be easier on arm since windows now trying to compete

Absolutely not, what an abomination. Valve FTW.
Nice to see advances. But no time to play...so...
This is speculative nonsense. Fall 2024 is in a couple of months. You think we wouldn't have heard about this from gaming studios by now ?

@@thingsmymacdoes yeah that’s what I’m saying, if it’s true they’re being stupid. We agree 👍.
We did hear about better games coming out from Apple themselves.
@@nomoresaul I was thinking something similar as well, like the new assassin’s creed
Maybe this could just be a higher end version of AppleTV instead of a different product? That would be easy to manufacture on same line. There are already 2 versions of AppleTV with and without ethernet port, gaming would just need more cooling & storage & controller
Apple TV ultra, calling it now.
Apple TV would be perfect for light gaming that many people would love.
I remember the Pippin from my time at The MultiMedia Corporation. haha, wow would have love to have seen that
Do u get more apps on this one or is it the same
I'll keep holding up and hoping to still get the Airpods Max 2
same
would really like that new iPad Pro.
I just bought the AirPods Pro 2, love the adaptive noise cancellation. It is nice when someone starts talking to me the conversation goes up and the content goes down. I also want to upgrade to a new MacBook.
Yeah this seems really cool! It can be an all in one Apple TV and Game Center!! Super cool!
I hope to get either iPhone 15 plus or 16 plus by the end of the year 😊
Still looking to get an iPhone 15 or 16. VERY interested to see if Apple can pull off some improved gaming experience, particularly if they could utilize the M chip's power.
I would really like to see games actually coming to iPhone and iPad
I’m hoping to get an iPhone 8plus before the end of this year
Excited for the new watch. Will be a huge upgrade from the series 2
I want to see updated AirPod max’s. It’s about time for it
Updated Apple TV or Mac mini are tempting. A nice tech backpack maybe something to look into for new gear.
I would also like to try the Apple Vision Pro this year. I think is technology that is being release before it’s time. I haven’t heard much about its usefulness.
As long as the controller doesn’t look like that thumbnail, that thing would be atrocious to use lol
You can make a games console with apple TV with retroarch. Yes emulation but massive back catalog of great games.
It would be nice to see a new AirPods Max this year. Have been on the fence to get it, but the current version is so old. Thanks for the channel and the giveaways!
Would like to see the console idea. Looking to buy a laptop and a iPad by the end of the year.

Looking to upgrade my iPhone 13pro Max when the 16 Pro drops this year. As well as looking forward to new AirPods Max

I am wanting to get a new iPad for grad school as my original iPad just can't keep up with what I need!
It has to happen.

I can’t wait for a 8k version!
I’m always excited for their stuff but rarely can fork out for the newest upgrades. Hopefully I can one of everything this year. 😂

That’s definitely coming. The AVP is not a mass market device yet. It’s more of a first gen beta product. I expect more from that space in 2025.
I hope i get something new for iPadOS like multi áudio source

Why not put an M4 inside the Apple TV? wouldnt that solve the 4k 60fps issues?
I'm praying for a new iPad mini and/or new air pods!
I hope Apple improves the Vision Pro.
Patiently waiting for the 16 pro Im def getting it and hopefully a MacBook pro
I hope they bring up the gaming system this year specially during the holidays

The eyes got brighter and that literally it lol
I am planning to get an iphone this year, I already have a mac, so trying to make my small little ecosystem
Gaming on Mac is good as well. Clearly not as good as a pc powerful gaming set up but still good.
We’re getting Apple as video game console for this one 🔥🔥🗣️🗣️
AirPods 4 and the larger iMac or a refreshed m4 pro Mac mini is definitely on my list.

The next gen AirPods Max (AirPods Max 2)!!! Hopefully they release it soon this year. So yeah, that's the gear I'm hoping to get this year!
