[Reading the Manga] I'm reading the manga and I'm done with the first arc and I almost cried when Mama realized and admitted all the things she did wrong and actually wished them the best. She basically gave up hope when she looked out into the abyss and decided that there are no other options other than being eaten or becoming a Mama. She was even more depressed when her good friend died too, and she didn't want that to happen to her, so she had to go with the latter which was the more hopeful option, but still morbid. That redemption phase was amazing for Mama.

This is the video that got me into this anime. And now, like half a year later I found it again and I’m crying just thinking of the first time I watched the show. The Promised Neverland is now one of my favorite shows. Thanks to the person who made this video.

Technically you’re wrong. At first she didn’t really hate nor like them, she found them to be more of a nuisance really. Then showed her true feelings at the end.
