if anybody's confused, the black kit is Larchkit, the calico kit is Patchkit, the pale kit with green eyes is Petalkit, the evil cat is Mapleshade, and the main kit with a twisted jaw is Crookedkit/star
One thing that makes it even more horrifying is Mapleshade used to have kits, and knew how to treat them. Since crookedkit had never gotten that kind of motherly warmth, mapleshade’s act seemed even more believable. He was so desperate for love that he would do anything for it, and trust anyone. To think that Mapleshade took advantage of that really sends shivers down my spine. That is one well-written relationship
You know, I watched this MAP repeatedly and the more I watch the interaction between Patchkit and Mapleshade at the beginning after Stormkit breaks his jaw, the less I hear those lyrics as "no more Mama" (like "get rid of Mama", as intended in game), and more like "no more, Mama!" (to instead mean "stop this, Mama!"). It completely twisted the song in my head and legitimize fit the role of Patchkit begging his mother to reconsider her anger's direction. I weeped a little bit
I just watching the map and omg this is so sad!! Patchkit is trying his hardest to protect crookedkit. Him and his siblings are sad about what their about to do but in the end they fail and Mapleshade outsmarts them and in turn crookedstar ends up being possessed!

I LOVE HOW MUCH REFRENCES TO TATTLETAIL THERE IS! I love the ritual for Mapleshade, and thinking about it Mama is very similar to Mapleshade. Just a loving and dangerous mother who freaks out when her children go missing and tries to kill the one who too took them, also the children willing to get rid of Mama/Mapleshade in this case makes a lot of sense
Maybe this is my interpretation, but Patchkit is trying to tell his mom to stop, but Maple is so blinded by anger and grief and love she can't see him. This is why her eyes aren't shown. His voice is being contorted into "Get him!" Or "Revenge!" Or something like that.
My Explanation of the Plot from my understanding: CrookedKit/StormKit wanders out of camp and try’s crossing the Stepping Stones but instead breaks his jaw. PatchKit,who caught wind of Mama’s/MapleShade’s plan try’s to persuade her to stop but fails. StormKit awakes after breaking his jaw and goes to check on RainFlower.However, RainFlower who is consumed by grief,gets possessed and taken over by MapleShade StormKit and PatchKit hide from MapleShade as she lurks and hunts for the pair. While PatchKit thinks of a plan,StormKit comes across LarchKit and PetalKit.StormKit informs them of the situation and they agree to help. PatchKit,LarchKit,StormKit,and PetalKit band together and do a ritual to banish MapleShade.PatchKit,LarchKit,and PetalKit lure MapleShade in and she falls through the portal they set up,supposedly banishing MapleShade away. HOWEVER,it does not go as planned. MapleShade (from my understanding) instead of being banished,she was pulled from RainFlower.After that,MapleShade claims StormKit as her next victim a and instead possesses StormKit.StormKit becomes leader of RiverClan,fully taking over the small kit. Feel free to comment below if I missed any details but from my understanding, this is a very deep and not-so happy ending for StormKit,PatchKit,PetalKit,or LarchKit!

I know I'm late, but I'm so happy with how this turned out. As a fan of both Warrior Cats and Tattletail, I was sad when the latter died out... but this AU seems to have brought a bit of it back to life, in a way, and combined the two fandoms in such a fantastic way. All of the animators did such a wonderful job, and I'm excited to see what else is going to happen!

I admit at first when I saw the ending my first thought wasn't possession but that somehow someway Crookedstar had tricked Mapleshade's kits to dispell their mother. Despite y'know Mapleshade clearly being the bad guy the whole time XP But then reading the comments I'm like 'oh, yeah possession makes WAYYYY more sense XP' I love that this featured Patchkit and Mapleshade's kits they're such adorable little babs
God! I love the design choice for maple shade , it makes her really resemble mama tattletail ( and I love the general references over all to the game! )

The fact this matches Crookedstar so good makes me feel so weird to think this song was once made for Tattletail....but this is to everyone who worked on this map, GOOD WORK. I am very happy, you should be to, even though i think you are very happy with yourselves.

i really like this everyone did wonderful (love mappleshades design btw) but i havent read warriors so im a bit confused with the story, i thought i had it right at the start, then crooked brought the candles out and i got lost
I think at the end it didnt banish mappleshade but instead put her in stormkits body, swotching their souls or they share a body or smth along those lines Which is why his eyes turn a bit red st the end

I just realized melowon_z participated and I was like omg, bc I'm subbed to her and it was pretty surprising. Amazing work by the way everyone! Every part looks amazing! Although I don't read the series, I understand some of it, but not fully.
I love the dog vibes in patchkit cause a dogs like "no don't do it" and patchkits also like that

i really like this everyone did wonderful (love mappleshades design btw) but i havent read warriors so im a bit confused with the story, i thought i had it right at the start, then crooked brought the candles out and i got lost

I think at the end it didnt banish mappleshade but instead put her in stormkits body, swotching their souls or they share a body or smth along those lines
Which is why his eyes turn a bit red st the end
