- Wow I finally finished! This is probably the fastest I finished an animatic, took me 10 days.
Anyway, I honestly don't know why I got this idea. It's kind of rushed because I just wanted to get it done and the idea seemed kind of cheesy. I just like the idea of the bad ending to The Promised Neverland :) Nevertheless, here it is! This video basically takes place in the future, Emma does decide to become a mom but none of them die.

So I’ll give a lil more info on the video, specifically on this version of the au. Manga spoilers ahead so beware!
After Norman is shipped out, Emma and Ray do give up, Emma accepting Isabella’s offer to become a Mom. Luckily for them, none dies because of their potential. Emma is a mom, Norman is working for Peter Ratri, and Ray takes the place of Andrew. They are told that each is alive in order to subdue them and keep them loyal to the demons’ side. Years pass and they regularly see or hear from each other, Norman and Ray often because of their jobs and Emma often is able to communicate with them during check ins. Obviously, they are feeling hopeless and twisted because of how long they’ve done this routine.
Some of the older kids from Grace Field were able to escape, not all, after the three were shipped. They went into hiding where they met Yuugo, eventually the Goldy Pond kids and Lucas. By the time this animatic takes place, they have grown and hatched out a plan to save all of the kids. They also have Sonju and Mujika on their side.
They instigate their plan, quickly freeing the kids. Grace field is burned and Emma runs to find Ray and Norman. It should be noted that Emma did not have the surgery and does not have the chip in her heart, that is because the leverage against her is her friends, not her life. Yuugo gets captured during this and is taken to Norman. Ray finds some of the kids with Sonju and Mujika, attempting to capture or kill them. Ray is quickly overpowered by Sonju and flees. Back to Norman, the kids burn and explode the lab/building he is in, which is part of the plan. Norman runs and Ray quickly arrived. Finally Emma arrives and they are captured.
The end is up to you to decide but I think that the kids would punish or imprison them somehow. The kids are not as merciful as Emma once was, so they have no one to show that mercy to them. That is just the bad ending :)

Thanks a lot for the details! Your video allows to easily guess the main lines of the story, but your description is great to understand the details (for instance the reason behind the scene between Yuugo and Norman). It is indeed a bad ending: the irony being that after being the ones who tried to defeat the farm system, they are now going to be the ones taking the fall for it. (Though hopefully they'll only get imprisoned...)

So when Norman is talking with Ray, he told Norman to ditch Emma.. But since he got shipped out Ray did that all on his own (and Norman never told Emma the plan)
And before that, Isabella had gave her a deal to become a mother or sister and since she did not have an escape plan she agreed to it
Ray and the other kids proceeds to escape (Don and Gilda stopped Ray from dying bc they were told about the plan)
Years later they realized they shouldn't had ditched Emma and needed a 3rd hand for helping
I love your perspective!! For this animatic I saw it as they all technically got shipped out but were kept alive. They all know that eachother is alive and occasionally see each other.

@@ostridgesaccount3204 Yeah, Ray is around patrolling and he kinda works close with the demons. Norman and Ray see eachother often cuz they work closely together. Emma is always at the house but they talk with her often :)

There’s a fanfic, where Emma is the mom and is completely depressed about it, but Ray and Norman love her and both of eachother know the other love her, so they make a deal where they will help the demons with making more tasty humans or something, and they get to live with Emma. But later out, we find out Emma has become completely depended on Ray and Norman and they pleasure her to ‘make her forgot life’ In her own words... it’s completely messed up, I cried from the angst...

1. This concept is fascinating, the song is eerily perfect, and the scene composition and selection is so engaging!
2. I love the possibilities involved here- what are Don and Gilda like now, since it seems they were among the children who managed to escape? How do they fare and develop as leaders in this AU? How will they relate to the Trio after they capture them? Both Don and Gilda are smart, insightful, empathetic, and family-oriented, and this could either lead them to seek to redeem the Trio, or to be so bitter and jaded by their apparent betrayal that they abandon them. Or maybe they’d be divided- eg, Don forgives them but Gilda doesn’t? Who knows?

This and Standreamy’s “Bid you a smile” are by far the best alt timeline AUs for TPN I’ve seen on YT. I love this, and will never understand why animatics like these get passed over so harshly just because they have manga stuff in them. TPN has a large manga community, where are they?!

It's truly impressive, especially since it only took 10 days! The pictures are really nice-looking! I especially like how you alternate between how the characters acts in public and their true feelings (especially Emma who's acting like Isabella but is shown to be broken by what she has to do to survive). I wish this was a written story so we could see all the details of the plot. I've always loved AU, as it allows to see the same characters in different roles. So in this AU, Emma, Ray, and Norman chose to collaborate with the demons to survive. I take it that Don and Gilda were the ones who led the Grace Field escape after their departure since at one point Ray seems to be chasing after Alicia (or maybe I'm over-analysing things and this is just a girl with a similar hairstyle^^)? And ironically, a few years later, Emma, Ray, and Norman are the ones confronted with another potential evasion, and then with a full-on rebellion. I guess that in this AU Yugo was the leader of the rebellion, probably with the help of Don and Gilda and/or Lucas and the Goldy Pond children (or with the three children shown trying to escape in Emma's part of this video). Would it be possible to have more details about the story you had in mind, for instance in the description?

This au is basically a “what if” scenario if Emma, Ray, and Norman grew up and became the “villains.” Emma becomes a mom and Ray and Norman work for/with the demons.

Why do I always laugh at the most depressing stuff like now
I 100% think that if Emma was a mom she would help the kids escape even if it meant she would die. The escape for her kids would be so easy because Emma could keep reporting to head quarters that everything was fine, giving the kids at most a 2 month head start. She would find a way so they would take all the kids, and trick the kids by saying that she’ll survive and just be sent back to training. Then, the night before she’s scheduled to ship a child out, she would burn down the house, killing herself with it so that demons can’t eat her.

to be honest, I wouldn't mind reading something where the bad guy starts off as the protagonist. we could get an intake on them, see their background, their childhood, their emotions, development...then boom! time skip and we get introduced to the new protagonist(s), and the previous protag turns out after a while to be the bad guy. but you know what's going on in his head, yet you know also the new protag(s) point of view and not being able to pick a side tears you apart.

today I did a kahoot and me and my friends said lets make our names people from tpn. Inamed myself emo ray and I won. I also got a streak and it had the fire icon. my friend said I got the streak because ray set himself on fire and ay was the smartest out of emma and norman.
