    The fun thing is, everytime steven has shot an arrow you can see his baffled yet amazed faceexpression, how Topoint can make such a Bow for that price and what that means for the industry.

    Hey Steven! I just bought a Samick riser. I think they're reviving the company and their new risers seem much better than what they were previously and the price point! Gosh it costed me only $145 for the Avante riser. Definitely worth reviewing versus the other brands at entry level.

    Very well done, I believe you could compete with the Topoint, and win the match!!! Nice shooting, mate.

    the thing a like about these cheap chinese bows with the coloured (fake) wood grips is that theyre so easy to sand down and build up to your desired shape.

    Honestly, if the biggest complaint you have about the Topoint Unison riser is that the grip isn't fantastic then that says a lot, a little Epoxy putty and a file/dremel will make this riser perfect!

    • @ArcherySuppliesLonsdale
      @ArcherySuppliesLonsdale  6 років тому

      I don't know. Grips are strange I would use it for awhile. I did not like the PSE XApeal grip but after a month I got use to it.

    • @tinyteeth
      @tinyteeth 6 років тому +1

      I haven't used the X-Appeal riser so i'm not familiar with the grip, but the grip is one of only two points where you make contact with the bow so it seems making it as comfortable and consistent as possible would be the most desirable outcome, be that with altering the grip with epoxy putty and a file or buying an aftermarket grip, having said that the W&W grips really just sit in the hand perfectly from the get go.
      I have altered my SF Forged+ grip with Epoxy putty to fit my hand and make it much more of a high wrist grip which I prefer and it has made a world of difference.
      It is funny how quickly we adapt to change once we get past the initial discomfort, after a month or so you may find yourself going back to an old grip you were fond of and wondering how you could use it in the first place.

    Hi Stephen, I'm very keen on this riser, but I'd like to know if 70" has a more gradual draw weight than a 68" with similar poundage? I'm 1.75m tall and draw length about 28-3/4". Thank you.

    Would you recommend a recurve as a practice aid for a compound shooter? I fell like a recurve requires a far more critical/precise/consistent anchor point, draw tension, and grip to be accurate with them and I am wondering if it would improve my compound game. Or is it a completely different discipline?

    what budget or mid range sight would you pair this bow with ? would defeat the purpose if it's paired with a high end shibuya

    • @crashpilot5006
      @crashpilot5006 5 років тому

      Why would it defeat the purpose of a high end sight? Not to mention that any low cost sight mechanism will do whatever any high cost sight can do in the first place? The only difference would be the adjustability of such sight, or maybe the weight. But at the end any fixed reference to tour bow would do?

    Hi Steven,
    Would appreciate input from you and/or the viewers.
    I recently got into archery nearly 3 months ago and have quickly become obsessed with Recurve archery specifically. I've been using club bows up until now and would like to get my own kit, though I'm a student so only have a small budget.
    I've been looking at and trying to decide between a few different risers. The main two being the Topoint Unison and the Decut Basha Pro that you previously did a couple of videos on and seemed to like. Additionally I've also considered the Kinetic Stylized riser. Which would you recommend from these (mainly the Basha and Unison as I know you've covered them).
    Thanks,
    -Simon
