Great review. I shoot everything with pull from 30 to 70 lbs , Asian, recurve, longbow, bothmetal and wood riser. and compound. I do struggle with the compound at 5 lbs mass weight after 40 shots because my bow arm/shoulder get tired. So yes mass weight is just as significant as the pull - great explanations.
I am compound bow shooter and thinking about trying a target recurve. I don't want to go cheap but don't want a beginner bow either - under $800 is what I am thinking. Am I right to assume the limbs are an area where you don't want to cheapen out? I would think a decent sight and stabilizers would be next in the area of importance. From what I have read, as long as it's an "advanced" riser, meaning it has all the attachment points one should need, one that cost $200 can do the same as one that cost over a thousand...for the most part. I have priced some Fivics and WIAWIS that can be had for this price point. Arrows I can handle since I already build my own and understand the what is involved. Any advice would be appreciated.
Hope the recovery goes well man! Just getting back into recurve myself, thanks for the info!

Steve how about building up strength with a stretch band? You can get them at various resistance levels that are suitable to your physical ability.

Is the riser available in LH?
No Left hand Xenia 😭
Please remind his the brand & model of the riser and limbs?
Krossen Xenia. All of the women and youths at my club have one of these risers due to the light weight.
Who love Archery 😁✅👍🏻❣️
