@Matt Lowne when you were that close to the docking port why didn't you just switch off SAS and let the magnets pull the craft in.
you should recreate the building gateway in luna orbit including the Near-Rectilinear Halo Orbit

What is the twist? I think its a mod that makes the tech tree start with probes.
Matt should make a series where he makes space stations around every planet and moon and then have an SSTO fly to each planet and refill.

I built my first ssto yesterday, it reached over 3000m/s, it’s Called Hypersonic 1 and 2

I still can’t build one. The ones I build are theoretically capable of orbiting if you look at the Delta-V, but I can’t get any speed in air-breathing mode. They barely breach 150 m/s with jets and need the whole runway to take off.
@@TheEmeraldMenOfficial my ssto needs the whole runway, I built it for speed not to get to orbit, but is capable, on the maiden flight I got into space, but I ran out of fuel when I reached space and i was on a escape kerbin, I didn’t really plan on going into orbit just wanted to know how fast it could go

Go to the folder where those craft files are stored, save those you need in a different folder, and delete every other craft!

I would love to see a career mode play throughout hard, but at the end of the day, do whatever you find fun. Don’t get too locked in in terms of what you want to do. Great video

Career mode, it is something different. You cant just unlock your entire tech tree in one flight because limits in fund.(mostly because part count/launch size limits) It forces you to build something else not just SSTA's. Well, for while, then you get funds to upgrade your runway and hangar, after that, it is same old, but...you know.
I love how I spent 2 weeks trying to get my first SSTO into orbit. Couldn't get past 340ms then I beat that, then I got to orbit with little to no fuel, then I finally beat that, and here I am watching you just throw only 1 rapiers on this behemoth of a SSTO and just shoot into space like its a Sunday drive.... I love ya Matt, but dammit dood, you make things look so easy haha
I'd love to see a carre mode. I always struggle to start them and it whould be nice to see some examples.
You could add a docking arm to the station for pulling craft onto the docking port

On Thursday I built an ssto using 3 of the sr-71 (j-x4) engines and 2 of the Mk-55 engines. I must say it surprisingly met my standards.

I know Matt isn't big on Mods but I think they could really spice up the game. Maybe he could do a new career mode with a few mods (like MKS and USI) with the goal of colonizing every planet in the Kerbal System? I have a 1.8 version of the game that runs fairly well with several mods such as USI, MKS, Near Future Tech, Outer Planets, and SCANSAT. I find it that it almost feels like you are playing a super bugy version of what I hope KSP 2 will be like lol

I feel like the fun of Career mode is mainly working through the different contract missions and getting your space center built out while trying to get by with limited crew capabilities and parts. That might be neat to see, but keep the difficulty at normal levels or it will indeed be extremely grindy. Perhaps Career mode could be a save you run in parallel for a while where every other upload is back to the fully unlocked science mode save to help spice things up.

I think a career mode playthrough would be an interesting concept, but only if you take the grand missions (like visit a different planet) or if you restrict the kind of contracts you take (like deliver ore from Eve to Gilly, or only do the Kerbin World Recordkeeping society contracts as they guide you pretty well). Also my favourite colour is blue

I think a career stock-a-like modded series would be cool to see. Not something as crazy as Scott Manley's Interstellar Quest from years ago, but also not as repetitive as a vanilla playthrough. It'd increases variety, as well as some new mechanics if you went into it. Perhaps you could include the Outer Planets Mod to have some entirely new destinations? Seeing you build a base on Tekto - a Titan analog - would be fun.

If you need variation, Lowne Aerospace could suddenly lose its access to liquid fuel but has an oversupply of solid fuel. Maybe Gilly has a special rock that can solve your LF problem?

I just recently found this channel and I'm glad I did. Also: Purple is my favorite colour.
Re-boot is a good idea. Do it on 10% science - it's a really great way to do a play through in a restricted/constrained sort of way. Otherwise a trip to mun and minmus nets you half the tech tree, and then it's all over bar the heroics.
I would like to see a career mode playthrough, but I do understand that it is a pain to grind. In my current KSP game, I have been grinding for many hours to get the first science upgrade, but am still not there. On the other hand, it would be nice to see a career playthrough, because I feel like a science playthrough would be kinda short. In career, you rescue kerbals from orbit for the money and the kerbal and it is sort of fun to earn stuff and upgrade buildings, not just instantly send a mission to Duna or Jool. In my game, I have been playing for over 10 hours and am currently on my way for my second Minmus landing. This is because I do missions in between the long ones and land on the Mun way more frequently than on Minmus. If you think about it, career is more for the off-camera experience, but at the same time, it would be great to see a periodic career video: maybe once every two weeks with your current kerbal videos in between.

Launching /adding an extended docking port is something you should do as a short. See if you can pull it off in a 1 minute video(heavily edited of course).
I vote carreer mode, but with a twist. you can only use the spaceplane hangar and the runway to launch crafts + you must recover all parts each mission. I enjoyed it very much and it is actually not that difficult in carreer mode to get sufficient funds and science.
