- After five weeks over two sessions shooting around Brugge with the Fujifilm GFX50s & gf23mm, here's my overall thoughts & review on the widest side of Fujifilm's current medium format lenses.

Great video, and the pic at the end with your Pitty , LOVE THAT ! Thanks !
Nice review, mate. Good work going over the varied image samples1
Thanks for the review - I didn't mind the audio and having been there many times myself - I know the heartbreak of seeing that in the edit 😅 - ordered this lens!
Thanks Jonny and enjoy, SUCH a delightful lens!
Nice review!
Nice video. I am amazed by the low distortion of this lens. I am wondering if you have made any distortion correction on the portrait that you shown.
Thanks Dean and no correction on the portrait
Nice video! Btw, the GF 23mm doesn't have optical image stabilization, so there is no "OIS" in its full name 😉
Thanks Johannes and yup, indeed no OIS so of course I bungled the lettering somehow haha! #milddyslexia
Nice video but junk audio. Your audio is over modulated. I don't have this lens, but is contemplating getting one. Thanks for the review.
Tasty for sure ;-)
personally i don't like super wide angle lenses in a streat photos situation the building is leaning backwards all straight lines is leaning against the sentrum of the images to much fisheye i personaly like my 32-64mm and 45mm even on my 32-64mm i must be careful for bending buildings
Very fair and all down to what works, I like going quite wide myself but 32mm (with the option to zoom no less) is quite alright in my books.
Guy has MF camera but no money left for proper audio.
...not even money for MF actually, still clear enough in the audio that it was a loaner from Fujifilm Belgium.
They (without call for bias in review) support my work and especially as I do indeed have no budget beyond the basics, offers a chance to (like photography) get practice with video reviews and see what works or doesn't.
@@AndyMcPhoto It's better than the audio on any of that guy's videos ;-)
I can’t deal with the poor audio. Lots of clipping. Moving on. Thanks
No probs & happy hunting!
