In this video I will be showing you the differences I have found using the wiha speed e ii over the CRAFTSMAN CMHT66718B20 4V Although I have found both screwdrivers to be very useful I have seen a huge difference which are very noticable. I will give you a 1 year review after I use these more and really give them a run for their money.

To your point at the beginning, “that’s not what’s these screw drivers are for”.
Just like that craftsman isnt for 3 inch screws, that wiha is a specialty tool not meant for platework.
It’s designed for screw down terminal blocks.
It’s low and high are not speeds, but two specifically calibrated torque settings.
Low is .4 newton meters and high is calibrated for 1 newton meter.
So if you are working on terminal blocks, IE: a phoenix contact screw down terminal block, it’s rating for its connectors is 1.2-1.8 newton meters. So you run that until it stops on high, then give it 1 twist or so, and you are properly torqued for your application.
The craftsman is probably much higher torque, and craftsman probably doesn’t even know how much torque it makes, nor would I assume they promise that all off the manufacturing line make the same.
The wiha is a pretty cool tool.
As someone who works with screw down terminals that it’s designed for regularly, I still don’t know if I’d buy it because it’s hyper specialized and probably better for someone who does it every single day.
Professional Tools can seem insane, but hopefully this spreads light on what the application of this wiha is.
And honestly, diy tools from diy brands are often the best tool for the average DIY’er.
At least from the name brands they are generally designed to do all the tasks that you will use it for and not some hyper specialized task that inky professionals find thenselves doing.
    Anyway.
    That is all
    Lol

Considering the Craftman, but also looking at the Skilz and Dremel Go, opinions?

I don't have any input on those. I wish I could help you on that, however I can vouch for the craftsman and a new one that I am trying out and it's really a great one. Here it is on Amazon amzn.to/3XGN8k2 I highly recommend this one I think that It's better than the craftsman or at least comparable.

The skill 4v with tester is awesome. 30 dollars, great dual light and electric tester. Comparable, as good or better than the craftsman.

I use the craftsman for appliance repair it does fine I also use a Milwaukee m12 if I need more power if your worried about a spare battery just get 2 for 80$ instead of 300 for the wiha

What I've noticed is Wiha sells all their stuff separate with everything being proprietary making things not compatible with commonly used bits and attachments. A total rip off if you ask me.

Yep I am starting to see that. I just had to send mine back to them for service. I will do a follow up video on that and the craftsman...

The only bits that are different are the Slim Vario which are VDE. This Difference was down to Health & Safety regulations . Its so that you don't put Non VDE bits into s VDE driver. Nothing to do with ripping anybody off.

I have both the Skil 4v and the craftsman’s here which is 4V. They both are strong. I just prefer the craftsman’s because it’s way slimmer versus the Skil is just way to bulky in hand and also I prefer to push a button for it to work rather having to twist it. Just easier and feels better. But both work great 👍🏼

I was looking to buy the torque screw driver but after seeing Benjamin Sahlstrom's video where the thing didn't even come with the bits and the standard hex attachments didn't fit the shank that was case closed for me.

Overpriced Wiha! What a total ripoff. “German Engineering” is NOT what it used to be. That applies to this crappy tool on up to German cars. Too much plastic, overly complicated, and waaaaaay overpriced.
