Great video, very helpful. I have the exact same little tractor. Its 18 below here, I have to move a lot of snow here, I have a diesel additive in my tank so it wont gel up. The tractor is losing power and stalling out under load. If I drop the power down and wait a few seconds I can get it to work for a minute or two, and then it starts stalling again. The bowl is full, I removed the fuel cap and the air Filter, nothing changed. Maybe just too cold? I never had this happen before, its too cold to hand shovel 😂 any ideas? Fuel pump maybe?
That is awful cold. Mine was doing the same thing but doing warm weather. That's when I traced it down and saw that the system was stopped up at the filter. Before I did that - some people was telling me the fuel pump. I was about to take the fuel pump off but I just felt that wasn't it. Deisels are a process of elimination. What I did was - unhooked the line from the tank to make sure I had a good flow. Next I unhooked the line before the filter to see if fuel pump was pumping. I also changed fuel filer. I also unhooked the line after the filter to see if fuel pump was pumping fuel past the filter . Finally I took air compressor and blew through everything and discovered there was a blockage forming near the filter.
@MacgyverBlack I'm going to use the same procedure that you did (when its a little warmer of course) I will let you know what I found. Got my fuel filter on the way. Thanks for your help, God bless.
Do you know where the electric fuel pump is located on your tractor? Is it under the seat? In the engine area? My hearing isn't good enough to locate it by sound. Is it easy to work on? Thanks for any help!

If I remember correctly- you have to take out the panel under the steering wheel , near the floor board
