Love ya mark You gave me a voice when I thought a I had none You don’t even know the power that gift has had in my life I could never thank you enough Gary
Brilliant Workshop Mark! So many takeaways! Think the key ones for me are : - permission - intention - being specific about the skills (pitch, volume, timbre, timing) you want to develop or have in order to make the right sound - sleep. I average 5 hours because that's what my body needs but I know that I push the boundaries when I go to bed late! morning person usually. Guess that will change! 😁😁😅 Thank you so much 😇
Omgah I am so peeohhduh urghh I was waiting and was sooo impatient waiting for this and then I had 3 hrs so I decided to do some yard work which was supposed to just be busy work so I would kill time now here I am I should Of known better I missed it and am so heartbroken well I bet it was very fulfilling thank you for doing it and I hope in the future you’ll do another and I won’t miss it!!! I really have made huge improvements with your videos so thank you As a person who is almost completely deaf I’ve only made noticeable improvements with your videos so I’m very grateful! I was beginning to think I just wasn’t able to get it but was way wrong so thank you again. Literally am shocked lots of ways to go but still you are the reason I didn’t give up so thank you!!
@@voicelessondotcom yes I used that link and it's just showing me a countdown to the workshop What media platform will the workshop be on? Will it just play at that link at 12.30pm EST?
I really appreciate your work and what you've been doing; you've really been helpful but am confused on something and it has really been difficult to discern what to do..... Is singing high note above the bridge:(C4,D4,E4,F,G,A,B,C) same with the same intensity of beltted notes but in a low volume? Because I tend to be confused how some singers can sing in the higher range above the bridge like it's nothing.... Are they sing in head voice/falsetto or are they sing in a head mix but in a low volume.... I really need clarity on this..I will appreciate if you reply and give me an exercise that will build my upper voice
At issue is the conflict between mind and matter. Sound is a spectrum - there is no bridge or upper voice. It's just one continuously adjusting outcome. The fact that you definitely feel a difference when singing over "your bridge" is due to behavior you trained in. So, you've got to un-train it. I understand everyone speaks about registers and bridges. If that perspective works for you that's fine. But it's not. Think of your bridge as an actual bridge over a river. On one side is Eastern Time Zone. On the other side is Central Time Zone. You would not feel a thing driving over that bridge - but the people on the other side are on a different schedule than you. They eat an hour later and sleep later based on an agreement that their clocks say so (even though time is a spectrum). Well that will screw your system up so it would be best not to abide. That's how some singers sing - they allow their body to do whatever is needed at that moment without categorizing or micro-managing based on cultural agreements. Any vocal exercise can be used once you shift your perspective and just ask for the sound you want rather than the behavior you think necessary. A very important element when exploring this is to allow your voice to fail. Cracking , wobbling and blanking out are just coordination issues. So let your voice suck as you explore staying physically comfortable as you ask for the sound you really want. That's exactly how I got there.
@@voicelessondotcom hmm..I think I will go with this.... should we then say our voice is classified into 3 section if really our voice is one..(soft, medium,loud).....? And do you have exercise that would strengthen the voices above the break....I would really like to work on my upper register. You can take the link to me sir I would so appreciate.
@@davidscott3401 Not to confuse you further - but volume is a spectrum as well! The only reason you wan to think of it in 3 levels is to please your brain (brains like categories). To strengthen any note - do this: ua-cam.com/video/KDqbI0pVtAA/v-deo.html

Is expanding range possible for a male who hasn’t trained ? If vocal range is A1 to C5 by training would he able to expand from C5 to D5 or E5 ?
