I'd recommend their songs "Blessed Be" + "Holy Roller", which were their other two releases this year ("Blessed Be" is from February + "Holy Roller" is from July) -- they would be a good place to start next. Hope to see more of them on the channel! They're worth it!

@@Spiritsmusicwa Yeah a double feature would be cool, Holy Roller original, and the remix featuring Ryo from Crystal Lake. The original is already heavy as fuck, and then Ryo comes in like a fucking demon in the feature. Also love your analysis about this song, great commentary.

One of my favorite bands! This is by far their softest song as she wanted to "sing a pretty song with no screaming" for her grandmother who passed.
Definitely check out Rules of Nine, Blessed Be, Holy Roller and Belcarra. Y'all won't be disappointed.

This video breaks my heart and makes me tear up every time I see it or hear the song, but cotdamn it’s sooo good! I’m honestly in love with Courtney and her voice. I’ve been checking them out more since I seen this and wow. I love them. Stoked you guys like it!
I definitely agree, it’s such a sad subject and such a beautifully somber video. I absolutely LOVED it although the subject did hit very close to home unfortunately
I cry everytime I watch the video. I used to take care of dementia patients, and watching them decline was absolutely horrific.

I'll add "Rule of Nines" to all the other songs people are suggesting. It's my favorite Spiritbox song, and showcases the duality of Courtney's vocals amazingly!

PLEASE do more Spiritbox. I feel like you guys would truly love them. "Blessed Be" is a favorite, and more similar to this one, but "Holy Roller" is the ripper that shows how different they can get (out of their newer singles). The version with Ryo Kinoshita from Crystal Lake is also phenomenal and manages to get even heavier.

This video fuckin breaks my heart. It's s subject close to home.
This song & video were created in honor of the video director & Courtney's grandmothers.
Courtney's grandmother died earlier this year & because of COVID wasn't able to be there for her. The director, I think his name was Dave, has his still living & her name is Constance. She has Alzheimer's/dimentia. The old photo is actually of her. The actress that portrayed Constance aka Connie did a GREAT job! Her name is Lily (I think). The song was written before the lyrics came & when Courtney & Dave met it just fell into place.

You're gonna love their other stuff. Courtney's airy voice with her growl is the bees knees! There's another band from the Netherlands called Spiritbox. Stuff is weird do watch out.
