Ragwort is in the states.. not where I live, but it's here lurking about. Also.. Pokeweed is not only SUPER toxic.. it also stains your skin for DAYS. Will ruin your clothes too. I learned the hard way as a kid with my mom harping at me to stop playing with it.

rosehip seeds, due to their hairyness makes a fantastic itching powder to put in your mates sleeping bag if they've been pissing you off.
In my primary school, kids used to get seeds and pour them down folks backs to make them itch like hell.
slime molds are an amazing organism. ever watch the time lapse videos of them moving around? and they are a single celled colony of organisms. crazy!

yeah, kids are always getting sick cause they ate poke berries, mistaking them for blue berries. though they are fun to pick, mash up, and paint on trees with. but a warning the purple/blue color will not come off your hands for days, maybe even weeks.

I always wonder how far you're from civilization when you're camping and such. Here in the Netherlands it's pretty difficult to find a forest or a park that's more than 15 minutes from a settlement.
