So we bought a new house and it needs lots of renovation - yay!
In this video I'm removing porcelain tile from the concrete kitchen floor and then using an angle grinder with a shrouded dust extractor to grind away the thin set cement adhesive underneath. No talking just action. Should be informative for anyone who is thinking about doing this. Enjoy!

With the shop vac and grinder, how much dust was there still? Did you still have to tarp off all areas due to dust or was it manageable?

Hi, yes the dust was manageable, I was able to keep the door open to the garden and as long as I remembered to empty the dust cylinder it was fine.

Amazing. What kind of tool did you use for sanding?

Hi, Thankyou! I used a cheap double row diamond grinding wheel that I bought from amazon. Search - Gunpla 115mm x 22,2mm 4.5 inch Diamond Grinding Wheel.
