I am a Hongkonger who loves Europe and keeps a close eye of news about Europe. I deeply respect and like this female chancellor. She has great wisdom to handle problems which benefit the most. For me, she seems to be an understanding and fair leader who tries to look issues from many angles and avoid being subjective in her judgement. I think she's a real political leader who can make the world a safer and more peaceful place. I definitely buy her autobiography if she is willing to share her thought and personal experience with us.

She had a lot of help behind the scenes pulling the strings, associations behind the scenes groomed her, from a young age, along with a couple of others at the time who are well known in world politics today.
It shouldn’t matter whether it’s woman or man, that is very shallow thinking. The only thing that matters is is that person capable to do the job, what is their background, what are their beliefs, their ethics, their associations, their humanity & do they put the welfare of the people before their own selfish deep pockets. "Germany's fate was always decided by men" she says as if it's something wrong and dark. You live in a world built by men, study what men have discovered and shared, yet keep talking about men as bad people.
She might have done well in some aspects, but she is also the reason for Germany's demography changing, immigrant crisis.
Moreover, men and women aren't equal. Biologically, socially and in a lot of other aspects, they aren't the same. They don't think the same either. Ofcourse exceptions exist, but that's the general trend.
Saying men held women back isn't calling men "bad." Since the dawn of mankind, the rules favored men and thought women shouldn't be able to study things like STEM or language arts or hold any meaningful positions, that's just how society ran until modern era western civilization. Women weren't given a change until recent history, that's just historical accuracy you clown
