That was fascinating! Does Dr Seheult have any data confirming the need (or otherwise) for a second Covid booster this Autumn in all adults over-50 where the individual has already had three previous vaccinations and is in general good health, given the reported high amount of immune escape and that Omicron is less severe than its predecessors. There is also the ongoing discussion that too many boosters can disrupt the effectiveness of the innate immune system.

Thank you for going through this study. I question two things about this study.
    1. Why did they only use IVM for 3 days but went for 14 days with metformin and fluvoxamine? Surely that makes any comparisons difficult.
    2. Why not separate the vaccinated and unvaccinated groups. Surely we need data on that (unless it’s somewhere in the study)

    • @Medcram
      @Medcram  2 роки тому +36

I believe that they did control for vaccination. About 52% of the patients were vaccinated. Also remember that ivermectin has a very long half-life of over 18 hours. This is in distinction to the other two medication‘s which are dosed twice daily.

I’m not sure if that justifies 14 days vs an extremely short 3 days. Even with an 18 hour half life the drug would be gone from the body a day and a half after the final does and would be at sub-clinical levels at day 4. The other drugs had 10 more days to work. Given the high risk nature of this cohort (eg obese) comparing IVM for 3 or 4 days may have done this drug a great injustice and raises credibility issues in my mind. It was also strange that there wasn’t even a justification or rationale in this paper for the overt difference in time frame for IVM versus the other drugs. In addition, Given none of the drugs had serious adverse events I have no idea why they stopped one of them so early. It’s a scooby doo mystery ???@@Medcram

Perhaps I missed the details of how early IVM was administered in this study. IVM is only efficacious during the replication phase of infection. Therefore it should be administered ASAP at the onset of symptoms, and continued until the symptoms subside. The dosage recommended by the FLCCC is the same as that which has proven to be safe and effective for IVM in application to the conditions for which it is an approved drug. For these reasons, I do not take this study seriously. The design of the study deliberately and intentionally constrained the dose, the duration, and fails to address the timing of the use of IVM. I find it curious and disingenuous that there are so many studies of IVM that get stupid with the timing, the dosage, and the duration; when they get it spot on with Remdesivir, but consistently fail to apply the same rigor to the timing, dosage, and duration with IVM. One cannot discount the profit motivation in this disparity. IVM is a very inexpensive generic drug, while Remdesivir is a phenomenally expensive novel drug. Both require early application. Both require application until symptoms subside. Both have established and proven safe dosage levels. But the studies all get it right with Remdesivir, and they all get it profoundly WRONG with IVM. Coincidence? NO!

Being a doctor involved in the early treatment and watching what other early treatment doctors do and protocols have been around now for a couple of years. It is concerning that they only use ivermectin for three days. Also whenever you start talking about the in vitro study from Australia and how you can’t get those concentrations in human. I know immediately that your purpose is to make ivermectin look bad. There are at least 60 Studies done since then. 30 randomized controlled trials. And there are two large meta-analysis .
they show up very strong signal for ivermectin. Why would you only use it for three days?
I don’t know any protocols it include met Forman. The fluvoxamine seems like it always works but yes poorly tolerated. Why did they use the half dose here?
All the early treatment protocols now include .4 to 0.6 mg per kilogram of ivermectin, but also include vitamin DC zinc melatonin and aspirin. Also they usually include Pepcid 40 mg and 8 4 to 8 mg BID and prednisone or budesonide inhaler.
Only studies negative for ivermectin make it in the major journals. By hook or by crook. Entire states in India with 240 million people had immediate strong result of ivermectin with sharp decrease hospitalization, death, oxygen use.
as did all of Mexico City and a city in Brazil as well.

Mexico has one of the highest excess death rates and Brazil was a disaster in terms of deaths. Scary to have a doctor that evaluates studies as good as long as they are not in major (that is more strict) journals.

I don’t agree. In fact I’ve read many respectable medical professionals and scientists who say otherwise. And an article by Justin R Hope MD in The Desert Review, discusses how India used IVM with amazing results and it wasn’t until Dr Campbell “exposed” what was in the home kits they passed out, that they were basically forced to retract/black-out/denounce the truth. Who ever is pulling the strings is powerful enough to smother those who speak the truth, be it a doctor, scientist, or government. Especially a government dependent on assistance from said group. As for Brazil, the information I read was clearly a smear/cover-up campaign. I have used Ivermection for over 35 years on my animals, I have accidentally given a whole tube which is for a 1250 lb horse, to a 400 lb filly, and had 0 adverse effects. I have used it on my dogs, and done the same with them, with 0 adverse effects. I say, that Brasíl’s media /medical service/government has been compromised. Then she went to ICU while intubated for three days or more. She could see visitors after 17 days. Her doctor told her grown son to expect the worst. I visited her for three days straight and realized she was not coming home. I was given a tube of ivermectin two weeks earlier. It was on my counter at home. I got chills running through me when I was instructed from a higher power to get that ivermectin into my lady’s body.
I visited her at 11am and took a spoon into her bathroom away from the cameras and the surveillance and squeezed 1/2 gram out then did the same thing 6 hours later. And then once a day for four more days. After the first day, my lady came alive right in front of all those bastards who thought they were saving her life. She had blood clots had to learn to walk all over again she’s spent another week there and then was transferred to a assisted living home with a catheter hanging out of her for five more weeks. But God sent me in there to save her life.

That was very bad what the MSM did; calling the essential medicine Ivermectin a horse dewormer. The MSM has been criminal in its reporting on nearly everything the past 6 years. And for the fake news grand finally, one of the publications that bashed Joe Rogan for talking positively about his experience with Ivermectin when he got Covid, the publication did nearly the unspeakable. When the Supreme Court ruled abortion to not be a Constitutional Rights issue, and said states can make their own guidelines, that publication said there was a horse ulcer medicine that will cause a miscarriage, gave the name of this medicine as the other name Ivermectin is called, and said they can get it from a veterinarian. I'm guessing Ivermectin is by law not to be prescribed by doctors as an abortion pill, but your friendly local dog doctor can hook ya up with some.
I'm horrified by knowing that these news outlets will not voice for Ivermectin being properly prescribed by a doctor to save a human life, but then tout it for taking a tiny human life, and to bypass getting it from your doctor and all but buy it off the streets.
I swear America has become upside down and inside out. We are being lied to and cheated constantly by our leaders, authorities, and information sources, all to such a degree that it would appear they want us regular citizens to hurry up and die.

One thing that a lot of people don’t understand is the variety and distribution of health outcomes in a large population. Another thing they don’t realize is the difference between what happens on a petri dish and what happens in a human body. A human body is far more complicated. I can culture an infection from a patient on a petri dish and show that five out of 10 antibiotics kill the bacteria. It’s quite another thing to use any one of those five in the patient and get a positive outcome because of 101 other factors that are in play in that patient.

7 in our group got Delta in November. We all became pretty sick. 4 had moderna and 1 had J&J
The J&J one had kidney transplant 7 months earlier. One got childhood leukemia at age 86 two months after last vax. She was treated for that and then got covid and need up in hospital off and on and the virus got into her lungs causing pneumonia. Hospital said she would die soon. She decided to go home. She took ivermectin and her pneumonia left and she was so much better, eating and practicing walking again. But then the leukemia came back and wasn’t treatable and she didn’t want chemo. She passed a few months later.
The kidney transplant one took ivermectin for 5 full days and as the first to recover.
One was under 30 and she recovered on her own.
Myself and husband and friend took ivermectin for 3 days. We felt much better but decided to take the antiviral treatment via IV. We all experienced better vision after the IV. But I experienced very low blood pressure, 66/80.
I have diabetes, asthma, high bp,obesity. My symptoms were a strange tickle in my tonsils and my inner ear. That went on 2 days. I also had headache and fever and fatigue. 3rd day I was panting all day like I was racing around. I got a fever of 102.4 and my pulse was 120. I took a dose of ivermectin for my weight and it’s in 12 hrs, my pulse dropped to 86, fever down to 99 and the labored panting stopped.
I waited and day after that I took it again and I noticed the small upper lung area that was getting mucous stopped going any further. I was very sick and slept 3 days. Then I felt better enough to get to Dr office to be tested officially. He called to have me take the monoclonal therapy. Even with that I was still very fatigued, not eating, lost smell and taste but I did get out to garden. I’d say I was sick about 4 weeks. I was not vaxxed. My unvaxxed friend also recovered about at my pace and my husband recovered too. He was vaxxed. We’re all fine except for the one who passed from leukemia. (She and her elderly husband both became quite sick after the vaxes and lost 25 lbs from having terrible diarrhea for weeks. )

When the History of the 2020-2022 COVID-19 Pandemic is written in a few years, I hope the book will try to ascertain why different people around the world got (in some cases) dramatically different results. For example, studies of antivirals given in hospital (after the viral stage is already over) can be dismissed out of hand as being irrelevant. I was glad this study addressed early use. However, if zinc is key to the success of these antivirals, we need to see trials based on dosing antivirals+zinc together.

Zinc is necessary for hydroxychloroquine which is an ionophore (helps cell bodies to absorbe zinc ions). The cell requires zinc, to interfear with viral replication. I found it odd that the trials started at day 3 which I would expect to be too late for ivermectin, because, as I understand it, by day 3 your immune system has got on the case, and is mopping up the damage - ivermectin in theory helps by slowing viral replication while your immune system gets up to speed, so less damage is done before your immune system is in full swing.

this whole thing so obviously skewed from the start with huge doses of metformin and relatively small doses of i^ermectin of ~ 400 MICROgrams/kgram
400 micrograms is equal to 0.4 milligrams x 100 kgrm = 40 milligrams typical daily
with doses of 100 milligrams of fluvoxamine 2-3 times daily and 1500 milligrams of metformin daily

Prescribed ivermectin initially (1st day) followed by 5 days of Hydroxychloroquine and a z pack worked for me and my husband no problem. I have been way sicker with other illnesses. I am a believer in the proven cheaper medicines we already had FDA approved years ago such as ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine and z packs. I am also a firm believer in keeping your vitamin d levels up at all times and in taking those as well as quite a few other vitamins.

Then I found a local doctor who understood what I wanted to do and my concerns and prescribed me a bottle of ivermectin also - and also based the dosage on my weight. I took it throughout Covid years off and on when I would be exposed to people at holidays and when traveling as a prophylactic. Then as a possible antibiotic when I did get Covid. There are two traces regarding IVM that I rarely see discussed.
    1. complex treating protocols. I hear of studies that check IVM alone or combined with only one other drug. But what the virus does, in terms of making copies, and creating damage both, is extremely complex. There may be protocols that achieve improvement when they include such a drug.
    2. Coming from reports in the Japan Times on Delta disappearing in Japan due to irregular mutations, and they had a hypothesis that there is a genetic trait in Japanese people that attacks the nsp14 protein, I was giving attention to nsp14. There are in silico studies that found out that iVM has a very strong binding affinity to nsp14. They were all searching for the other effect with 3CLpro which had shown in this same table a binding affinity that was strong (they had the binding energy values negative based on its definition) but a little bit less than nsp14. No one seems to have looked into the nsp14 effect. It means the virus cannot error-check its own copies.
I think this might be a herd effect, and can multiply its ability from one person to the next, when everyone takes IVM as in some regions is happening. I never heard about herd effect studies on Covid-19. It might be important, because after so many attempts we are still not getting rid of that bug.

"we are still not getting rid of that bug." Covid is here to stay. It is virtually impossible to eradicate a virus that lives in animal reservoirs. It is inconsequential, except to the Chinese government, which continues to obsess over it.
