Black Widow Post-Credits was originally supposed to be the introduction of Julia Louise-Dreyfus's character. We only saw her in Falcon first because BW was delayed over a year.
I just assumed they had a queue of nexus events that they worked on. Since yeah, all the events would come at once from their perspective, but they also have infinite time to deal with it from their perspective
Oh yeah one more thing about Beastars season 2 Legoshi disguise’s himself as a woman. He wears a Pink dress and makeup that’s definitely NOT his color those are spring colors he’s more of a winter.
Scott nailed my feelings for Black Widow. The family was fantastic, I I'd love a movie or a series following them - especially Yelena and the father, who were my favourite characters. I had been getting a Wolverine Origins feeling starting at around when Yelena gets introduced and we get to see some of the "villainess plot", and as the movie progressed it just doubled down on the Wolverine Origins feel, with Task Master here being Deadpool from there. Such a shame, and as Black Widows send off, she was forgettable
My favorite part of beastars S2 was honestly the thing between Kibi and Tao. It was just so out of nowhere and such an interesting dynamic to explore. It was only tangentially related to the main plot but it stood out to me as one of the most memorable things from S2.
Black Widow is a horrible send off for Natasha, but a good set up for Yelena who'll basically be replacing her. I'm pretty sure that's the reason the movie was even made.
It would seem Scott, that you forgot that Thor the Dark World had an end credits scene. And before anyone defends that scene as it bridges Thor with Guardians, let me remind you that was the mid credits scene. The end credits scene was so much worse which, in all honesty, was fitting for that movie.
Love the show, I can't wait to see the next episode. I love Beastars and I can't wait for season 3. SO many soon to be answered questions. And introduced to two of the best characters in the series lol.
I think Black Widow would’ve been a better movie if it had been made five years ago, this just felt a tad too late at this point. Since we know Natasha got a bullshit death, the stakes are just too low. She deserved so much better then this. I refuse to see Space Jam 2. Hated the first one and knowing this movie is a rip off of Ready Player One, I checked out immediately. One thing I love about Beastars is something I don’t think is talked about and it’s how it handle intimate scenes. They’re just gentle and respectful. I cannot believe this show is this good. I can’t wait for Season 3. Loki is what I wish Doctor Who was right now.
I still want to read the Beastars manga but I also don't want to spoil myself on the anime and if I start reading it, I don't know if I can stop. For me, the Beastars anime is one of the very few anime that just captivate me. I watched through Season 1 in 4 days and Season 2 in 3 days and had to stop myself each day to not binge them.
Only hope for Taskmaster is Deadpool 3. The first 2 Deadpool movies managed to fix Colossus who was Americanized and just all around boring in the X-Men movies.
If you guys would ever want to do more Beastars content, you could always try and reach out to Jonah Scott! He's usually always up for interviews and those kinds of things!
What did y'all think of Legosi's fight scenes? I thought they were seriously well done. It's a really interesting fighting style that I'd love to adapt someday.
For a more recent Sean William Scott movie, try Goon. He's a bouncer that becomes a hockey goon. Funny and has heart. Plus a great jumping off point if you then watch the Netflix documentary on hockey goons.
Is Taskmaster called Taskmaster in the movie? But way either maybe they can pull a Mandarin and leave things open for a truer version of the character.
One thing I'll give the sub over the dub is that that snake that only makes brief appearances was voiced by the same Japanese voice actor who did a orochi maru
Beastars season 2 is the best. Although whenever Pina was on screen being the pretty boy womanizer that his forgetting girls names and his is. His legit piss poor planning on getting evidence of the killer to sum him up “he’s an idiot” (War Machine Avengers endgame).
Thoughts Loki : Best mcu tv show, absolutely loved it 20/10 Black Widow : action was good, the story was average i guess, black widow should have dies multiple times in the movie but plot Armor, really dissapointed in taskmaster honestly it's kinda impressive how they managed to turn one of the coolest villains into such a bland and boring villains 6/10, also Florence Pugh CARRIED the movie Space jam new legacy : haven't watched it, will not watch it
Spoiler discussion topic warning: in the last fight scene where Louie offers Legoshi to eat part of him to fight Riz, I get the symbolic removal of his foot with the brand number from when he grew up in the black market, but why all the way up to the knee? I felt the foot itself would have sufficed in my opinion. Also very glad to know there is more coming along because that ending by itself would have felt very unsatisfying for closure.
I honestly enjoyed Space Jam 2 I didnt hold the 1 in high regard and i can summarize space jams in two ways Space Jam 1 was a dissection of what Michael Jordan thought was important to his athletic career (which we come to learn was being a basketball player) Space jam 2 was a dissection of what Lebron James thought was important to his athletic career (Which we learn was his family) And while each movie tells these stories and themes in their own unique way, i think some of the hate Space Jam 2 is getting teeters on "you didnt do the thing i liked as a child and now im upset" that doesnt say we cant look at movies critically anymore, but im saying that lets look at it for what it is a hot mess but still enoyable.
I like how it tackled the subject of racism in the MCU in a nuanced and interesting way, but it was ultimately undermined by a weak central plot and some of the most underdeveloped and forgettable antagonists in the MCU. It really could’ve used a few more episodes to flesh things out further and not feel as rushed, and it was a really questionable decision to limit it at only 6 episodes. It worked for Loki since it had a much smaller, more self-contained focus, but definitely not for FATWS.
Taskmaster is one of my favourite villains from the comics. I own a Taskmaster Munchkin card signed by George Perez, who created him. So I think I qualify as a Taskmaster fan. I liked what they did with the character.
Black Widow: Liked it ok, but can admit to the glaring flaws it has that other MCU films don’t. Taskmaster is one of them. Space Jam: A New Legacy: Haven’t seen it; don’t plan to. Just gonna stick with the original. Loki: Loved it from start to finish. Happy I was able to predict the main antagonist and can’t wait to see what it sets up. Beastars:...... To paraphrase Dende from DBZA: “I don’t know what that is.”
Then the woman who played taskmaster should have been in the suit the whole movie or a female stunt double. they hide behind the obviously male stunt double until the end. hypocritical.
Is it bad I liked Space Jam 2? Don't get me wrong I still like the first better and I didn't see the movie for LeBron. I saw it for the Looney Tunes and that's it
After watching Beastars, it's almost like the furry version of Sword Art Online EDIT: After watching Season two in full, I was too harsh. There are issues with the show, but this is pretty good.
I've kinda completely fallen off the horse with MCU content. I'm mostly just digesting it in 2nd hand bite chunks, listening to youtubers talk about it.
My breaking point with the MCU was Thor Ragnarok when they played music for Willy Wonka in the background I get the reference they were making but they didn't even play the right music
I’ve noticed a pattern among critics of Black Widow in that almost all male reviewers just think it’s okay or at most like it where as women LOVE it. Possibly because one of the themes of this movie is about young girls and women being horribly abused and treated like disposable objects. The villain literally doesn’t care about a single woman in his life and even turned his own daughter into a living weapon. Hell if the opening credits showing little girls being smuggled in dirty shipping containers, sorted out like animals, brainwashed, trained and taught only on how to lie and kill and then forcefully sterilized before being sent out into the field doesn’t hit you in the heart then I honestly don’t know what will. It hits even harder knowing that shit like this happens in real life, especially in Russia. Look up State School 4 and you’ll see that this shit happened before and is still happening now. I can see how this will empower far more young girls than Captain Marvel did.
I love you guys I really do but I got to say Lani I actually like the Space Jam 2 movie, I saw in the theatres with my family and everyone seem to enjoyed it. Now I'm not saying that this movie was great but it surely wasn't bad, its a movie that does its own thing and is a stupid dumb fun movie to watch with the family. That's my take in it that's all.
I disagree with the take on task master. Yes their character is dramatically different, but their roll as a prototype to a sociopath (no spoilers) fits so well it didn't bother me.
Kinda wish they’d added chapters to this, so I can avoid spoilers for certain ones and jump to certain topics
They too lazy. You hear this Scott?? Despite all your editing, voice acting, writing, and managing. I called you LAZY. Come at me, bro
@@Monkeyman3000 can you make the chapter please
Black Widow Post-Credits was originally supposed to be the introduction of Julia Louise-Dreyfus's character. We only saw her in Falcon first because BW was delayed over a year.
Kaiser takes too long to say what he's saying and Lani keeps interrupting him. The perfect combo.
Absolutely loved Beastars. Jonah Scott is a national treasure.
Definitely looking forward to this new saga of Marvel and seeing how its handled.
I'm guessing Kang the Conqueror will be the main villain.
beastars and space jam, the two sources of many young furry awakenings
5:43 Scott facial shift when Lani asked about Taskmaster.
That was priceless.🤣
I just assumed they had a queue of nexus events that they worked on. Since yeah, all the events would come at once from their perspective, but they also have infinite time to deal with it from their perspective
I also liked how they took FMK and turned it into a general nerd podcast. I liked FMK but I think this is a good replacement
Basically, Loki finally learns to really love himself.
It's super incest
Oh yeah one more thing about Beastars season 2 Legoshi disguise’s himself as a woman. He wears a Pink dress and makeup that’s definitely NOT his color those are spring colors he’s more of a winter.
Hawkeye is my favorite Superhero. Hawkeye fans will be showing up more and more as we get closer to the show

I love beastars but one scene that haunts me is the crocodile who got castrated while still conscious!
That will haunt me for a while 😖😖

I'm glad I'm not the only one who instantly thought the Taskmaster reveal was very X-Men Origins Deadpool-esque.
Just now coming back to this and noticing Kaiser's expression _instantly_ shift as soon as Lani brings up Taskmaster. I can't. 😂
the black widow move takes place entirely during the end credits of civil war :D

Yes, and yes, they do
They reference a taskmaster protocol, but don't explicitly name the character as task master except in merchandise

I can't find this anywhere, can anyone direct me to it?
Black Widow was supposed to come before the Falcon show so that was supposed to reveal of that female character at the end
Anyone know the beastar video that they reference at 31:30?
Did you ever find this?

28:40 is when they start talking Beastars 2

Maybe Taskmaster will become more like their comic self when they return?
That’d be pretty hard unless they pull a Mandarin and make it so BW’s Taskmaster isn’t the “actual” Taskmaster.
I honestly enjoyed Space Jam 2
I didnt hold the 1 in high regard and i can summarize space jams in two ways
